A quick update from the project balconySince I lost most of my bonsai moms last year while I was on vacation I got myself a solar powered irrigation system.
I'll set it up on the weekend to see how it works
How do you water your plants when you're away from home for some days?

The solar powered irrigation system did its job and all bonsai moms survided my 2 week vacation
I let them enjoy the sun 1 more week before I do the yearly maintenance and move them back to the project tent

Today I got myself a new fan for the project tent
It's much smaller than the old fan and runs with only 1,5 W
After I set everything up I moved my bonsai moms back to the project tent
It's getting crowded in there. I have to think about letting some of them go or to get a bigger project tent

I repotted all 'Shittie Dreams' to 1 liter fabric pots with a 70/30 coco/perlite mix. So far everything seems to be on track
To make sure no bugs enter my project tent I treated them with pyrethrin.

Regarding keeping mom's I put emotions to the side and just look at performance and effect/experience.
Still feels wrong every time I end a mom but you can't keep them all around.

The bonsais and the cuttings looked like they needed some attention after I came back from my vacation.
The cuttings looked a little beat up but to my surprise they all showed strong and healthy roots
All the moms got a new hair cut and I repotted the cuttings to 1 liter fabric pots with a 70/30 coco/perlite mix

Inspired by @Swifty I decided to cut back and root prune my Shark Shock, Shit, and Dreamtime moms.
After the maintenace I put them in new 1 liter fabric pots with a 70/30 coco perlite mix and watered them with a light nutrient solution with Terra Aquatica Pro Organic Grow, Terra Aquatica Pro Roots, Terra Aquatica Silicate and some trichoderma.

That's a total of 9 bonsai moms and 2 bonsai dads in a 60x40cm tent
