It's the end of week 9
Northern Widow (Tropical pheno) is clearly coming to an end. The clone is 1-1,5 week faster than what was the original female.
Considering her wild growth pattern, slender leaf blades and trichome coverage, she is unbeatable.
As for trichomes, she has shorter stalks with fairly large bulbs, the consistency is more oily and not so sticky at the moment.
These trichomes are the carriers of fruity scents, that she started to produce some two days back.
On the touch, you can feel remnants of the fruits on your hands, maybe a little bit of almond too, all in very neutral, slightly sweet and pleasant way.
Almost all these trichomes have become cloudy and some are starting to turn amber.
So she will enjoy her day of complete darkness and tomorrow will be the last photoshoot, then harvest.
I prepared a few photos of her already, so these are waiting to be uploaded.
In the meantime, lets focus on the smell, for which I named this phenotype Tropical Widow

With your eyes closed you can feel like you are on a tropical island with a drink, the sun is shining, everything is fine
The plant smells incredibly beautiful.
The head is a clear honey-hash – > kind off similar to the WACO scent I’ve encountered before
The heart is clear tropical fruit (lots of pineapple, a little mango, something unfamiliar to me – passion fruit, lychee, it is something slightly sour), all subordinate to the pineapple.
After these elements
fade away, a hint of musk reveals itself with something, that evokes the feeling of being on a sunny beach.
I hope it’s clear why I named this phenotype Tropical Widow. It is for these complex smells and wild grow patterns.
Now I cannot wait to show you and also to taste this beauty
