Mango Haze and Mango Haze IBL, in search of a keeper

Another nice pheno is Mango Haze #9:

Buds look more sativa in appearance and have a dense field of trichomes, a bit more sticky but still very greasy feel to them.
She smells not very strong but there is a sweet and sour twist to her. A bit like mango but not dead on mango smell. In the background you get some fuel notes.
She tastes also more subtile but packs a punch.

High is strong and dominates your head and body.
It has put me to sleep on several occasions now.
A good all-rounder that should please most people!

I hope that the terps are stronger in the second run.

Mango Haze #6 looks more indica-influenced but smokes more like a sativa.

She has a smell that is not loud at all and resembles baby poo and also some sweetness (not 100% mango but there are hints in there).
High is active an sociable, it picks you up and has nice euphoria in the first hour, this is real good daytime medicine and does not leave you tired afterwards.
Duration of the high is a good 2,5 hours.
She leaves you fully in control and for me it has that "Mango" high which is very kind but potent!
She also has a very nice bag appeal and flowers are more dense.
Trich's are more greasy/oily and of normal size.
It did have some minor mold but it was very cold and more humid in the last weeks, this with denser flowers doesn't surprises me.

She is also a very nice pheno to have and is perfect for a more active life but she works as a day ender also.:)

Have we discussed this before? Comparing to SSH, how are they similar, different? Do you prefer one over the other? And why? Great stuff @Swifty

Thanks Mu,

I will compare them later on but first I want to asses them all thoroughly.
Still early in the cure and since I have my SSH cut for years I feel it would not be fair now.

I can already say that Mango Haze IBL#9 is very close to SSH.

Since they are both so closely related and as with all hybrids there are different phenos, some will be similar/same and others different...I do remember that my Mangoes years ago were mostly more sativa dominant though. Both are excellent. Funny for me but at one time (over 50 years ago) I was a Biology Major but I failed genetics...hahaha. I should have spent more time studying than smoking. My mistake!

It is day 31 of flowering and I'm happy to see that they are bouncing back!
No extra amendments used, Silic Rock 0,75ml/L / Calmag 0,75ml/L and Alga Bloom 2,5ml/L.

The tips from the leaves are not perfectly green again this round.

This grow has me confused, temps are 15°C at roots level and 20-21°C at canopy level and this with 100% LED.
My previous experiences learned me that this grow would not work and I had my CMH close by to intervene.
Difference is that I now use Silic Rock and Calmag together, previous only another brand Calmag.
Must be something in this combo that keeps them happy.

This week I will reduce the feeding a bit.

Light is at 100% now, distance is 30cm from the tops @11on and 13 off.

Stuning plants !! :)
Thanks Ptree!
You could and should teach a class Professor Swifty. Love those thin bladed babies…
Thanks BrotherBoris, just a passionate amateur here, it's easier to grow nice flowers if you start from good genetics.
I'm liking the early frost forming on your fan leaves. Those mangos have some seriously nice trichs. I like a trich with longer stalks.
Thanks Diesel840, I can already recommend the strain. It has a special high.

Greetings.

You added another strain to my must grow list

Thanks a lot @Swifty for making the decision what to grow next almost impossible
