Mango Haze and Mango Haze IBL, in search of a keeper

Speechless man such a beautiful bunch of buds i spent 5 minutes going back and forth but couldnt figure if there is a favorite for the looks but its impossible.
Just looks amazing, the IBL definitely is something, you can see it in the budstrucutre, has some distinctive traits.
Mango Poo terps sound illicitly good...
Asked @shantibaba and you can definitely get MHz IBL just have to ask for it.

Just requested the auction manager to drop some in the mix...

Currently waiting on my auction hauls to fly in, pretty happy to be here to witness these varieties NHz, SSHz...sure classics, NL5Hz needless to say...but im also really pleased about what else is offered in the range of Haze. Good times for some good ol' Hase...
Thanks @Proud Kraut.:)
Even though the plants where far to big it surprises me that they still deliver good quality buds. Next round shall be beter!
Haze is addictive, once you experienced it, there is no turning back.😄
Nice scores on the auctions there, good luck with them.

Greetings.

Beauties 👍 MHI is a an awesome morning/daytime 💨
Thanks Skunkle.:)
Loved your Nevilles Haze Mango, hope I find something similar to yours!
The one pheno I harvested this summer is something else, very strong psychedelic experiences.
She takes you away and after a couple of hours sets you right back in the same spot.
Very good but not for daytime use!

Greetings.

My brain will explode....

I always make my mind like „so Neville Haze Mango or SSH would be my next grow“

Then I look tru some thread... „okay, maybe Mango Haze should be my next grow“

But then I end up starring at Angel Breath and so on... This is neverending story isnt it? :D

Day 79 of flower,

Three more plants are harvested, will post some pics of them this week.
So five girls are left, some are far from finished and by smell I think that the best 2 are amongst them.:)
One 240W LED is removed and the smaller 150W is repositioned.
I should harvest two more next weekend, I dont know what I will to with the last 3

Lighting is at 285w CMH, led's are at 100% and distance is aprox. 20-25cm to the plants.
They receive 14h lights off and 10h lights on.
They only get rainwater, no feed and I tend to let them get dryer than before.
Temps are around 20°C (when lights off around 13°C), RH around 45%.

Hello,

Here are some pictures of Mango Haze#9, Mango Haze IBL#3 and Mango Haze #12 that I harvested @77 days of flowering.

Mango Haze #9 smells like mango, very perfumy and with a sour twist to it.

MHIBL184(MH9)Nice.jpgMHIBL185(MH9)Nice.jpgMHIBL186(MH9)Nice.jpg

Mango Haze Inbred line #3 smells like paint thinner (sweeter) and onions to me. Yields are also very good on this pheno.

MHIBL187(MHI3)Nice.jpgMHIBL188(MHI3)Nice.jpgMHIBL189(MHI3)Nice.jpg

Mango Haze#12 smells sour, kind of like green apple and also musky. This is also a big yielder.

MHIBL191(MH12)Nice.jpgMHIBL192(MH12)Nice.jpgMHIBL193(MH12)Nice.jpg

I must say that I find it very hard to describe these scents. I wonder how breeders do this?
Do they have some kind of system or approach to do this?
To me every female smells different but the nuances are sometimes subtle. I let my wife or my brother or a friend smell and let them write it on a piece of paper.
If I show them mine they agree most of the times but they did wrote something different. Very confusing at times:).
I also struggle with "resetting" my nose when I'm doing this.
Some scents just stay in my nose for a while.

Anyway, these pheno's are also good quality just like the rest I harvested before.
This line is just A+++ quality by looks.

Keep in mind that these plants were to big and had been topped multiple times while in flower.
Did not found any male part yet and no seeds.
One plant had a little bit of mould (fattest pheno), rest had no mould at all.

Greetings.

man, that looks good. i know the pain, swifty, describing the smells is super difficult. i think the best way to train your nose is blindfolded with all kinds of vials of essential oils... i haven't yet commited to this step, but i might in the future.
Thanks sneakyfeck and that is a good idea.

I know that my smell is well developed over the years and is sensitive.
What you say is in fact very logical. You have to have smelled it before in order to truely recognize it!

Nice!

When i get some more $$$ and ⏱️⏱️⏱️ I plan on taking a few somalia and beir tasting classes to "educate" my pallette.

Whenever I buy a nice bier, wine, or spirit; I try to discern if I can taste/smell the flavors described in the description.

I do this with an oil diffuser. I will waft the before applying, but try and close my eyes whenever entering the room and really smell the various characteristics of the essential oil. I feel like the aroma profile opens up a bit when diffused in the air vs smelling the concentrated oil out of the dropper. Kind of like adding a splash of water to a barrel proof bourban to open the palette.

Today I harvested Mango Haze IBL#9 @85days, this lady is special.
Very strong scent on her, she reeks of incense, lime, cellulose thinner and some pine all with a sour twist to it.
I have high hopes for her to be keeper material, the proof wil be in the smoke but for now she holds up to my SSH cut.🤞

She smells kind of evil!

Very unique and she is for now my most interesting female by smell from this selection round.

The cold brought some colours also, very oily resins.

Day 86 of flower,

I harvested Mango Haze IBL# 8 & 9 yesterday.
That leaves only 3 more plants. I will let them go another week but they will be harvested after 13 weeks of flowering.
Let's hope that they develop some more this week.

Lighting is at 285w CMH, led's are at 85% and distance is aprox. 20-25cm to the plants.
They receive 14h lights off and 10h lights on.
They only get rainwater, no feed and I tend to let them get dryer than before.
Temps are around 18°C (when lights off around 9°C), RH around 40%.

Mango Haze IBL #4 is somewhat weird. Stems are very tick at places and has strange bulging going on. Looks a bit like when you pinch them.
Leaves show a fair bit of mutation, there are a lot of them that are asymmetrical. She smells very strong but it is still evolving.

Mango Haze IBL#6 is a "wheat" pheno. Sticks with calyxes but with decent resin coverage.

MHIBL216(MHI6)Nice.jpgMHIBL217(MHI6)Nice.jpg

Mango Haze IBL#1 is a bit more advanced and started to show colour on the bottom branches. I like her smoke from the cut that I ran this summer.
This one could yield like crazy with proper training in a scrog.

MHIBL218(MHI1)Nice.jpgMHIBL219(MHI1)Nice.jpg

Mango Haze is certainly worth exploring, still not a nanner in sight.
Next year I will run Neville's Haze Mango.

Greetings.
