Who has the real RoadKill Skunk ?

You mean the 'forum' on the website? They've only just moved over there from fb. It's a bit new. Think they're still setting up! You can see what they're up to on swamiseed_ig. Lovely looking NL, Thais etc. you'll also see their plants grown by others. But if folks don't think they're any good then that's great!
@Broseidon: The One and Blue Orca are sisters from the same Afghan/Thai mating, with The One considered more Thai, though Blue orca can throw some Thai leaners but less often. Don't know if you've read the full tale but it is out there.
@Bigsur: You used to frequent icmag, didn't you? Wondering if you came across Gas and Coot there?

for what its worth, very little i know..., i have an older friend who has smoked acapulco gold. it was his favorite back then.
he smoked my jack herer i used to have.
he thought they were very similar in flavor.

his son was one of my best friends, and some of the first weed i smoked was skunk #1 that the kid took form his dad.
before i ever smoked, the kid showed me a plastic bag with something dark in it. it was a rolling paper soaked in hash oil.
he spent time in canada, and on one of his trips he brought me back seeds of dr atomic NL x blueberry and sensi's jack herer.
those were my first purchased seeds i ever grew.

who said skunk was a small yielder, 1 oz plants?
sounds like something different than what most people think of a s skunk.
thats why we dont have haze anymore, because they switched to skunk to be more profitable.
but, what i noticed in the first homemade cross i ever made, Blueberry x white rhino, was that there were smaller yielding plants that were much stinkier and resiny-er. they were better than the pheno i kept for a while though, which would grow nice big buds and was still pretty good.
afghani in blueberry and afghani in the white rhino.

The Acapulco Gold I grew not long ago was mild as buds IMO. I had two females and the morphology of both was very similar and apparently very similar to Bodhi's version, though I got these as a batch from a seed bank/forum I was affiliated with. I believe we probably had the same source. Untainted by ANY indica if I had to guess. Lot's of tiny tiny resin glands. They did vary greatly in flowering time, one was very fast. almost as fast as a dutch strain I had going. The other one I cut at I think week 17, but I honestly don't recall. Could have gone longer without a doubt. The leaves were quite small, though it could have been the severe bondage they needed to be contained.



As an extracted oil (of the longer flowering plant), it's stellar. Nice sativa high with no raciness or paranoia.

Massive yielding plants. In other words, sativas.

Without being there, smelling or smoking it, my opinion about rks, which should be seen as fact, is its any death pungent Afghan and its crosses.. in aus (most folks in Vic I come across) for a long time we smoked, hydro Bush or Skunk, Skunk was just a name given to extra stinky weed, not specifically the different Skunk strains... I gave a mate some dogshit smelling medman that was thanked with 'that's some stinky smelling Skunk man, lol...

I agree with you that afghani maybe part of it, but what kind of afghani ? Are there only one type of afghani or theres multiple lines ?

Dry sift can be made from sativa , indica or hybrid .
Just match the screen size to trich head size .

Yep RKS was a USA thang .
Nevil bought Sweet Skunk from Skunk Man . Then tried to put the stank back in .The Afghani used in Super Skunk increased the yield .

USA Skunk pre Holland had thin leaves .

Why so many people associate the stench of rks with afghani yet you say it’s only for yield ? Where did you get this info.

Tried to put the stench so you imply he was not succesful possible.

So basically we are left with the question of what is the landrace that is responsible for RKS stench any idea?

I have seen pics of a Skunk grow from 1980 . Seeds from RC Clarke . Skinny leaf .

Skunk man says the Mazar I Sharif Afghani added the stink .

Skunk #1 seed was available in the USA in 1980 if you knew where to look .
After 1984 / 85 it moved over to Holland and was worked extensively . 10s of thousands of plants .
Early in that era there were Skunk #1 and Skunk #2 .

That`s where it gets murky . Some say he wasn`t responsible for breeding Skunk #1 . Some say Mendo Joe was the man .
Dunno I wasn`t there .
