For those that wanted a little info on BGSH, this is what I got in reply when I asked CLS about it. Hope it helps someone. Im sure Ill pick up a couple packs when available one day and see how it is. If its good, Ill report back :D

hi, big sur holy weed was a mix of torreon purple and afghan it was grown in big sur 30 years or longer ago for the first time it has hid out down there in a small circle of people coastal is growing the origonal one for release this year his has been open polinated for all this time and has a few phenos purple and green a rare short one he got this year but for the most part they are monsters huge plants when grown outside some of the later attempts at big sur holy weed used different parents because the real purple torreon is as hard to find as hens teeth without it its just not holy weed aloha cls

nevils haze crosses?

just wondering who has actually made some seeds from nevils haze crosses and how they went?

pollen chucking or otherwise.

Dr purpur has done many if you look back in this thread.

Also there is a thread over at icmag called nevilles haze x everything where a guy is crossing many strains with great success

im aware of these two, also looking forward for more of docs to be grown out.

im just thinking surely many more have tried, ive seen nevils haze occasionally pop up in strains from other breeders. such as an old zamal x nevils haze or "Neville's Haze Hybrid" (Neville's Haze x Grapefruit) x (Neville's Haze x Grapefruit).

what have you crossed nevils haze to? and what would you wish most to cross it to?

id probably most likely like to try

nevils haze x chinese yunnan, and
thai x nevils haze.
 
lately ive been working with 2 NH males.
one of them throws pistils.

ive crossed them to The Stones, Green Crack, OG kush, G13, two different phenos of black rose x purple wreck, jack herer, sharksbreath, white russian x blueberry and what i believe might be jims la emme fire og kush.

in the next month or two i will be crossing NH to dutch passion blueberry and purple wreck.

in the meantime i am using some nl5 haze males, gotta do all the same crosses

If I were to have some quality NH males I would toss pollen on some kens gdp or the like. It would be nice to have a colorful plant with the nevilles high and that strong purple flavor. These two would seem to be a nice combo since gdp or another purple strain seem to usually be of the knockout variety while nevilles would give a good sativa character.

I like giving the people what they want though and this may not be something I would particularly enjoy in the high department. Most sheeple still love their colorful bud despite it not being as strong as some of the typical greens.
 
GDP

The GDP is a bit heavy for me and I dont smoke it much. The clone we use came from Honeydew Humboldt. I cant remember for sure, but I think We hit it with some Nevilles Haze males. Here is our GDP. Not sure which cut it is.
We'll just call it the Purpur cut... LOL

The crosses Im running that I made last year have the Blue crush as the dad. Blue Crush is ( California Orange x Salmon Creek x Lavender x LS1 Blue Kush)
The Nevil strains all Have special Nevilles Haze dads and the Moms are MM, Oaxacan, and Kariba.

Did somebody say narcotic?:) GDP is some of the best pot on the planet on its own, depending on the cut you are running. I can just imagine what that does to ya, doc! Just what I"m trying to find down south from you. You going to SF the 23rd by chance?:)

Nope. I was in Oakland a couple weeks ago to see my Pot doctor and get my paperwork revalidated.

someones else's zamal x nevils haze i managed to come accross.

Nev loved these buds and mentioned nevils haze looked to be the more dominant expression, he also mentioned the best kariba x nevils girl looked exactly like this.

dubi from ace also has seen this and told me he agreed that zamal is the most psychedelic weed hes ever tried. he has the gerrit cut from magus genetics, it is the girl that makes zamaladelica female seeds the zamal x nevils haze pictured above uses the same souce that that clone came from, both from gypsie.

wouldnt mind that cut in the grail im thinking. i would have to stick to the zamaladelica myself though.
