hempy,
i have tried to be as clear and concise with my posting, i even gave you examples of your Thai, Colombian, Jamaican being regarded as commercial weeds, selling for cheap commercial prices and still being grown in their country of origin, i gave you a clear example of why European growers would not grow Thai weed, it sells too cheaply on the menu's in Amsterdam and commercial growers aren't stupid, why do you think they are growing weed hempy? its for money mate, so you think a commercial grower will turn his nose up at 100,000 euro for half the flowering times that it would take for a crop that he could sell for 20,000 euro, never in a million years and you're clutching at straws,
bush weed is seeded, that how you got it hempy, otherwise you'd have no seed to work with, so the lines either self seed or cross pollinate without selection, for an outdoor grower in Europe that is the last thing you'd want, especially if you are growing other varieties as many others do, every example of bushweed on the menu's in dam is seeded, if you buy bushweed in the country of origin it will be seeded, i've friends that have been in Thailand for decades, i've lived there myself, sometimes there's more seeds than others but the commercial weed is always seeded
see what you base a lot of you assumptions on is third hand knowledge hempy, i've been to these regions, i've witnessed it myself, i'm explaining with clear logic as to why what you are suggesting is highly unlikely and improbable but you still fail to acknowledge it, Spain is a large country hempy, but the area i stayed in is one of the most prominent canna areas with some of the best farmers in Spain with some of the best growing conditions and open spaces, a lot of Spain isn't like that
commercial grows are still happening in big numbers hempy, you don't know about them that's all, if you did they'd get bust and that's probably the only time you do hear about them
you have got all defensive with the possible connection between you and a commercial grower, why is that hempy? you don't care who you label as a commercial grower, it seems to be anyone that grows 4 plants of sk#1 or cheese is a commercial grower in your eyes and that's the point i've been trying to make to you, you are offensive with your generalizations and there's no need mate, you don't like it being implied that you are a commercial grower just because you grow a certain strain so why not treat others as you wish to be treated and stop with the generalizations, assumptions and accusations
global markets are still working hempy, things are more difficult with customs but they are still working, a lot of the bush weed that used to hit the uk and other parts isn't as in demand anymore, if a young smoker/grower had the choice between a bag of unseeded white widow or some seeded bush import they would take the unseeded bud 9/10 therefore the weed goes to other shores, you'll find a lot of it is split up and arrives on the islands in the med among other countries, it's easier to sell to tourist holiday makers than it is to sell to locals...again this weed isn't grown in Europe, commercial growers wouldn't waste time growing bushweed when they can grow quicker varieties for bigger profits
Seems people are getting a bit confused.
Skunk #1
and California Skunk
are two entirely different animals.
California Skunk comes from many different sources, and with many different pedigrees, and they smell like a dead skunk (hence their name). Most of them are predominantly Indica.
Skunk #1, all comes from the same source, Sam S, it was made famous by the Seedbank, and is a very diverse, predominantly sativa polyhybrid, and does not smell like a dead skunk for the most part, usually it has a very sweet candy type of smell which is in many cases, overwhelming.
So for those of you who do don't seem to get it, When people say Sk1, they are referring to the specific strain Skunk #1, which is now many sub strains from the same source(ie cheese), and not anything else.
Hempy is right, Skunk 1's application and use is primarily commercial, And it has dominated the commercial indoor grow scene in its many different forms for decades. Anyone who does not know this needs to take dope 101, because this shit is beyond basic.
So whats the point of Cali Skunk again.
We all know Sam took an Skunk Afghan cross and hit up a Colombo Gold female to make Skunk1.
How does this make it commercial, and what everyone grows in the states again?
Skunk#1 is an Inbred Line, that is all. I would have suspected you to come up with that being the breeder and all.
hempy/rambo you were first trying to get your point across that cheese is nothing more than sk1 which people agreed with, it was a certain pheno of sk1 which got a nickname cheese but it was a sk1, but now your saying m8 its cheese sk1 commercial cannabis, hempy you aint even smoked the cheese pheno of sk1, i can assure you if it was a commercial strain it would not be sold for top money in the amsterdam coffeeshops, and were talking about the cheese pheno of sk1 hempy, and tbh commercial growers would rather grow anything but cheese as it stinks so bad, they would rather get a crop in and out, no fucking about, but they would be taking some fucking chance hempy growing a room full of cheese, they want to get a crop down hempy without any worrys, growing a room full of cheese or a commercial grow of cheese would be jailbait, they know this as well hempy, thats why they dont do it, its a very popular strain ( cheese ) but i would not say it was a commercial strain, need balls of steel and your head look at to be doing a commercial grow of cheese hempy, and its cheese this thread is about, a certain pheno of sk#1.
as i said before, take the war paint off rambo lol, you dont do yourself any favors hempy as its not like you were saying at the start of this thread its a commercial strain, just added that part in once every1 agreed that it was a certain pheno of sk#1, hempy the fire starter

haha well iv done it, 90 light warehouse with 1500 odd cheese, ran it for a year and still here to tell the tale! lol.. did have 18 10inc fan n filters tho!!! lol
anyone who slags cheese off obviously hasnt tried it, yer theirs better highs to be had but cheese is the only strain that turns out quality no matter how badly it was grown..
another thing, cheese doesnt need a 4 week cure just to bring out the smell and taste like so many strains do.. you can smoke cheese litraly 4 days after chopping and still smokes ok.. give it 10 days and its AA grade, no cure needed at all.. , you name me one other strain that does that!
cheese all day everyday! lol
