The jungle is making even bigger jungle :)
I see first preflowers on #1 & #2.
#4 is somewhere deep inside, I dont know if it can keep up, we will see.

WACO#1
- seems like male, or not ?
- quite trichome buildup
- biggest leafs
- longer internode distances
- if this is male I keep him

1.JPG1m.JPG

WACO#2

- this one I believe is male
- also some trichome buildup
- bushier then #1
- I like it, but is it better then #1 ? Well, pretty hard to answer

2.JPG2m.JPG

Oh,, btw look at Northern Widow

- so beautifull girl, waiting for good boy :devilish:

all.JPG

Iam sorry for making new & new photos in growth/preflower stage.
But I will have to source even more seeds of these, as Iam gonna say, these are so far best looking plants I have tried from Mr.Nice seeds !
The colours are Top ! The smells of melon on tent opening. Pretty magic plants to say !!

Today I have added just litlle bit of seaweed powder on top of the soil, and made really mild biocanna vega & flores solution at pH around 6,0

Waco #1
- is longer day by day
- perfume like smells from stem rub, with just hints of fruits in background
- stem is coarse
- is male

1.JPG

Waco #2
- keeps its low stature bush height
- stem rub reveals lots of melon smells with bits of spiced perfume on background
- stem is coarse and quite sticky
- is male (I believe Iam starting to like him even more then #1 cause of its smells and glue like coat)

2.JPG

Waco #3
- keeps robust bush stature
- stem rub is almost same as #2 but without spice perfume background, it is all the way fruity-melon smell
- stem is oily and sticky
- still unknown (I hope for female as this is my favorite)

3.JPG

Waco #4
- working on it, but is overshadowed by all the plants (altho new growth is green, it is more lime green then the others)
- stem rub is same as #3 so all the way fruity-melon smell, but it is lower noted then #3
- stem is oily and sticky, again same as #3
- Iam thinking of everything right now, could be discarded any time, but still have a chance to show off

4.JPG

Northern Widow (tropical widow pheno)
- wild plant she is
- leafs reminds of plants nature, it is spicy-skunky smell
- stem rub reveals lots of unique smells, bit like skunk, bit of fruits, bit of sativa rose & spice
- she will get her boyfriend (Who wouldn't want her?)

WACO #3
What do you think of this photo?
I believe I have my 3rd male. :D

IMG_0494.JPG

So for now I will wait for further confirmation of preflowers and ,if, then #3 is my selected male for Northern Widow
Seems like this grow is really more off wedding for Northern Widow (Tropical Widow)

All in all, I have to say the males are really blessings with WACO, they all have quite good trichome cover and some pretty smells, #3 especially.

- I have discarded Waco #1 male, cause it began to be too rope like, and smellless compared to other males, but was trichome covered and preflowered the fastest.

- Waco #2 is bushy & confirmed male, with decent amount of trichomes, smell is perfume like with bits of fruity tones on stem rub.

- Waco #3 is bushy plant (maybe male) too, have some amount of trichomes plus sticky stem surface, smell is like dank melon - which can be recognized on tent opening, and have the deepest dark green colours from the pack.

- I still dont know what to expect from Waco #4 , it is still kind off oppressed plant. I will wait few more days, and from then I will discard it or let it flower out.

- Northern Widow will go into even bigger 4gallon pot, and I will stretch her a bit so there will be good amount of Sativa buds for me :)
(8l grow mixture + 8l flower mixture)

Final & Flower mixture for Northern Widow
original grow mix in 8l pot + 8l new flowering formula in bottom of new 16l pot
(5,5l light mix / 1,5l wormcastings / 2 spoons bat guano / half spoon palm ash / spoon seaweed powder / spoon of supermix / spoon of rockdust)

Have you checked the soil ph? Though it's improved, the veins are all much darker than the leaves which seems like a deficiency. Clearly though, you have a very rich soil which makes me consider lockout from soil ph.
I had a grow where most plants looked fine, except two. when checking the soil ph, the two sad looking plants both had a drastically different ph than my healthy plants. Even though they had the same soil and waterings.

Sorry if you recently checked #4's soil ph. Just a thought.

Keep the great posts coming!

Checked only runoff. Which was normal, and same as with other pots.

Plants are just before watering.

What I have kept is fruity-melon smelling male Waco #3 (on the left)
It was pretty hard to choose between #2 and #3, but darker green colours, and sticky stem had won it all ! :)

Northern Widow Female that just started to hug her upcoming husband.
Iam making sure there will be plenty of tops !

And Waco #4 that is keeping its slow pace, pale yellow colours and still kind off weird leafs - but it differs so much, I wanna see what it is !
Btw. even clone started to show some weird leafs, but is still looking about 60% healthier..

So for now, Northern Widow stretching, then pollination using WACO #3
and then we will have to wait for more Waco females in one of future grows :)
So lets continue on project Tropical Widow

So Iam here with some updates

As is known by now, I have ended up with 4males from 4 seeds (yes even #4) :D
But to be honest all the males look pretty good.
I will try to grow Waco again after the summer heat gets away, as I am making slight pause at that time.

>>> I will continue here so that no one confuses WACO and NW <<<

I will keep Waco #3 male cause of its fruity to melon smells,
early trichomes production and sticky (and hollow) stem,
deep dark green leaf colours and bushy structure.
He will be used for pollination of Northern Widow female (Tropical Widow pheno)

So here is one of some last photos of male...
I will try to shoot some photos of male flowers as they appear.

w3.JPG

And lastly photo of marriage between these two plants,
