What are feminized seeds?

There is more than one way to produce female seeds.
But generally speaking most "feminized seeds" come from hermaphrodite flowers/plants
where males flowers appear on plants that also have female flowers, thus,
these male flowers can pollinate the female flower pistals
which are more likely to produce female seeds, but ...
the seed is likely to also be a hermaphrodite and produce more mixed sex plants
having both male and female flowers which prevents growing pure sensimilla cannibas.

With feminized seeds you get so-called female plants, but ...they tend to have hermaphrodite tendencies...
if you dont mind that then the basic pros and cons would be:

pro:...getting more so-called female plants from seeds

con:...not likely to have pure sensimilla flowers because of them being seeded by male flowers on the so-called female plants.

I've seen the term I just haven't looked into it yet. Also if someone could maybe list the pros and cons of having feminized seeds?

Fem seeds to me is like GM foods a no go erea i will avoid them.

Sadly there very big in todays mj community mostly by the younger growers i read but there poluting the genetic pool and it may all ready be to late.

Selfing is basicly useing chems to turn a female clone to a male plant then they use it to polinate a fem clone of its self now these seeds are what they call s1 but these may not show hermie traits in the seeds but from what i have been told the next or gen after it will and each generation after it will get worse now theres a reson why good breeders like shanti / nevile and so on stay clear of fem seeds.

They that produce fem seeds GM-MJ as i call them will say there true fems bla bla yet they cant explane why males are also found in the alleged fem seed or hermies and often just blame the grower.

Theres an old ruel i live with thats you never play god or screw with mother nature.

my advice {from 3 decades of growing} is if you have limited funds and space,
spend your hard earned money on a High Quality F1 Hybrid that has a proven record of praise from many growers.
along the way, hone your cloneing technics,so you can reproduce ,at will, those stellar plants that you will undoubtedly find in a proven F1 hybrid.
finding males in my seed is not a curse,it is a blessing and tells me I have a natural selection to work with, provideing many wonderful specimens.
Like Hempy said "Dont mess with mother nature"
what would the world be like with no males, of any species?
