Day 47 of flowering today.

Buds are swelling and the shack is smelling very sweet today.
This week I will give them the same feeding as last week but now everyday.
Past week I gave them a feeding followed by plain water and then again feeding.
I see that there is some normal yellowing occuring in the lower leaves, they are well past midflower now.
These plants are also thirsty, everyday they receive between 1,5-1,7L water this for several weeks now.

I do fear mold, today and the next days will be very humid around here.
Lights are at 90% for the led's and CMH 315w.

Day 54 of flowering.

Plants are entering the final stage of flowering, the carbon scrubber can't cope it anymore.

I lost one top, I saw the first signs of infection yesterday (yellowing/ dying leaves in places where It should not occur) and decided to harvest it.
The infection was at the base of the main bud (stem infection).
I did caught it fairly early on.

I pulled the four center plants out today so I could inspect everything and while there was access I pruned al lot of bigger leaves from every plant.
By doing this I hope to:

-Increase airflow through the canopy.
-Decrease leaf evaporation from each plant.
-Extra stress could result in more resins.

Extraction fans is almost at full speed and oscillating fans are blowing directly on the plants as much as possible.
I do not like it when fans blow directly at my buds but I can help to reduce the chance of mold.
I believe that a larger passive airflow is more beneficial for trichome production.

I did all this because the forecast says more rain this week and a higher humidity.

I gave a last feeding today of 1ml/l Green Sensation and 2ml/L Alga Bloom.
Led's are at 80% and CMH at 285w.

I also pulled out my magnifier and I saw a lot of cloudy trichomes, harvest is getting nearer.

I feel your pain/challenges with heat and humidity. Very similar to my garage grow. Looks like you’re ahead of any minor issues.

I see ur useing Plagron products i started useing them last year because i got them for free as a promo from Plagron i got green sensation, power buds , alga bloom and sugar royal And it seems that i had quite a bit of success with it why im writing this i Noticed that this Power buds realy works they claim more flowers faster flowering and i had alot of flowers last year so i buyed a bottle and use it this year. Last year I noticed something strange despite enough N it looked as if there was a deficiency yellow leaves what was funny was that the sugar leaves and the small leaves near the flower were deep green as if too much N as if the plant would direct all energy into the flowers I have never seen anything like this before my amateur conclusion is that this probably comes from the Power buds there on the bottle It also says "The plant will spend her energy into flowers...." and all 7 plants showed this. Do you also use this or have experience with it?

I use just Alga Grow/ Alga Bloom/ Green Sensation and Bat Guano. I used sugar royal before but could not see a difference so I stopped.
In my first 10 years of growing I tried many products and enhancers but that made it more complicated and I believe that soil health is often affected by these.
I saw bigger buds and yield was often improved but a the cost of the quality.
Now I just try to keep it simple, feed the soil with Alga Grow and Bloom and add PK after first half of flowering is past.
These 4 do this for me.

Also, start with enough soil in flower that has a decent amount of feeding in it.
In the first half they grow bigger in a faster rate so they need the food.

I recognize what you saw, If my plants already depleted the soil greatly by mid flower and I try to correct it I often see the same thing.
Leaves are paler and sugar leave stay green and sometimes dark green.
After mid flower plants wil divert their energy to the buds and not so much to the leaves anymore. It wil make the leaves stabilize but they will not turn back in health/colour.
Every stage in the plants life has it different needs, important to see this.

I looked at the power buds, I think I will give it a try, thanks for the tip!

Organic fertilizers need to be broken down by bacteria and fungi so roots can take it up and transport it in the plant and get it to the parts where it is needed.
This symbiose is how natures works and has many other benefits/ for both parties.
Mineral fertilizers are the same molecules as when organic fertilizers are broken down but just that, no extras involved.
A nitrogen molecule broken down from organic material is the same molecule as a mineral based one.
Mineral based fertilizers work much faster because of this.
Toxicity to the soil comes from the concentration imo, to much and it will harm the soil life.
You certainly can give mineral based fertilizer in an organic medium but do watch you are not overdoing it, that is my advice.

Green sensation is mineral based indeed but has other ingredients that help to stimulate the flowering proces, I can see the difference with and without it.
To give you an idea of how much I use I can tell you that for my latest grow I used not half of a 0,25L bottle Green Sensation and almost 3/4 of 1L Alga Bloom, thats it.
I stopped giving anything last week.

With enough and good quality soil that can provide the plant in most of its needs to start with this is al it takes for me, I tried many things and combinations but this gives consistent results and most important a very good quality.

I'm no scientist or expert on the matter but I hope that it is somewhat clear how I see it and it helps you further Hanzde.

Thanks for the clarification that's exactly where I want to go Prepare a nice rich medium that in my case outdoor with long veg i only have to start fertilizing at the very end or just help in the flowering phase

Day 61 of flowering today, the end is near.

The smell has changed the past days, next to tropical sweetness there is also a stronger sour stench, very appealing.
I believe they are nearing a harvest window.
Wheather was ok past week, the forecasted rains stayed out untill today, next week will be very rainy.
I have kept them rather dry, RH was between 55-60%.
Only water and lowered the leds to 70% and CMH 255W until harvest.

I like the fade on them, this grow went according to plan.

The Western Winds cut came from regular seeds and it was certainly not what I was looking for but it does stand out smell/taste wise.
It carries a special tropical sweetness smell and taste that is just so addictive, by looks I call her a 50/50 hybrid. Taste is beefed up sativa and the high hits like an indica hammer.
Overindulging always leads to falling asleep. Great day ender but causes serious brain fog the next day. For me its not for everyday consuming.
The Honolulu's are overall an impressive line, good quality but still under evaluation.
I will make smoke reports after these have cured in a couple of months.

Day 67 of flowering, the last day with the lights on.
They will be in the dark for the next 2 days and then its -time.

Pleased with the results so far, I turned down the lights to 30% the past 2 days and put the fans of.
The extraction fan is at maximum and the soil is dry.

When opening up the shack I got a real strong resin smell.
Sweet, tropical and sour is how I can describe it best.
I inspected the trichomes and saw a lot of milky and enough amber for me, this and the strong smell tells me that the harvest window is very close.
Most plants have a beautiful fade and the calyxes are swollen.
