The origin of David Watson -- new revelation inside

Hi All, first let me apologize if I've put this in the wrong spot. I should also hasten to add that it's not my intent to cause any drama.

I've been thinking about this subject a long time and have been wanting to tell someone this hypothesis. This is the one forum on the net that seems most open to truth about the "Skunkman", so I came here. I will just make this one post then be gone. I hope admins and mods will leave it up, after moving to the right location and/or locking if felt necessary. Hopefully everyone will be on their best behavior and not cause any problems in the thread. I've been lurking here for many years and it's a good group of people here.

So without further ado: I think David Watson may be a descendent of Thomas Watson, Sr, who founded IBM Corp. He could potentially be a grandson or great grandson.

I'm having trouble digging up solid evidence to support this conclusion. I don't have the resources to do any deep research into this, and I'm only putting this out there in case it's the missing link for some other researcher who is trying to figure this guy out. It's more of a hunch than anything, but I'm pretty well researched in a lot of areas, and it has happened before that my rough guess turned out to be better than some people's proven facts; so I'm going ahead and posting this anyway despite some uncertainty.

One major clue that lead my thinking in this direction was a post Watson made many years ago. He told about the time when, as a little boy, his mother brought him over to a famous sci-fi author's house to spend the day. I tried to find the post but it seems to have vanished; can anyone find it? I had remembered the author in question to be Asimov but it probably was Heinlein, as Heinlein was actually living in California, whereas Asimov was in New York. (But then again, the IBM Watsons were from New York also...) Watson said he got to spend the whole day with the guy, which made a big impression on him as a kid.

How many of you have had your mother bring you over to a famous scifi author's house, where you got to spend a whole day as a young man? Sounds like the kind of special privilege only a wealthy kid gets to enjoy.

One interesting characteristic about Watson is his very haughty "stick up his ass" way of speaking. You'll notice for example that he never uses contractions. Instead of "don't" or "can't" he says "do not" or "can not", for example. I don't believe this is a personal quirk, but a product of how he was raised. One can easily imagine him being brought up in a wealthy and privileged household where using contractions was looked down upon as being a sign of a "low class" upbringing. In general, he just has a very haughty, arrogant, nose in the air, way better than you, narcissistic attitude, which leads me to envision him being the offspring of some family with a lot of money and privilege. I don't happen to know of any other Watson family than the IBM Watsons who might fit this criteria.

It also makes sense from the standpoint of, who would US LEO hire for the role of "Skunkman"? They generally pick sons and daughters of wealthy and privileged families for these sorts of important roles. Just like Bill Gates for example playing the role of Microsoft founder, or Elon Musk playing the role of Tesla/SpaceX guy. Or Jeff Bezos, whose grandfather Lawrence Preston Gise was a big shot at DARPA who essentially was a founder of the internet, so his son got to play Amazon founder. The average man on the street doesn't get picked for these gigs.

You've heard of "standing in your father's shadow"; try living in your grandfather or great grandfather's shadow. Imagine coming from a family like that, always hearing what an amazing and successful guy your grandfather was, always being compared to him and feeling inferior as a lowly trust fund kid. That's the sort of scenario that tends to birth a hardcore narcissist like Watson.

Needless to say, his involvement with DEA, GW Pharm, and so many other disreputable characters at the center of the plot to steal cannabis from the general public really tells the full story about the guy. Not an accident he was shilling for Phylos, for example, then playing it off afterward like he got taken in also. (Right.)

Sorry I can't offer anything more substantial, but maybe this will be a clue that leads someone else in the right direction. Hope this sparks an interesting discussion.

Also, and I don't know if you'd be at all interested, but I have an awesome bridge for sale in London. PM if interested.

I am he as you are he, as you are me and we are all together
See how they run like pigs from a gun, see how they fly
I'm crying
Sitting on a cornflake, waiting for the van to come
Corporation tee-shirt, stupid bloody Tuesday
Man, you been a naughty boy, you let your face grow long
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen
I am the walrus, goo-goo g'joob
Mister City policeman sitting pretty little policemen in a row
See how they fly like Lucy in the Sky, see how they run
I'm crying, I'm crying
I'm crying, I'm crying
Yellow matter custard, dripping from a dead dog's eye
Crabalocker fishwife, pornographic priestess
Boy, you been a naughty girl you let your knickers down
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen
I am the walrus, goo-goo g'joob
Sitting in an English garden waiting for the sun
If the sun don't come, you get a tan from standing in the english rain
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen
I am the walrus, goo-goo g'joob, g'goo goo g'joob
Expert textpert choking smokers
Don't you think the joker laughs at you?
See how they smile like pigs in a sty, see how they snied
I'm crying
Semolina pilchard, climbing up the Eiffel Tower
Elementary penguin singing Hari Krishna
Man, you should have seen them kicking Edgar-Allan-Poe
I am the eggman, they are the eggmen
I am the walrus, goo-goo g'joob, g'goo goo g'joob
Goo goo g'joob, g'goo goo g'joob, g'goo...

Finally makes sense... California grass..

I bet you think you're a witty guy; a real intellectual.

The Bible talks about people like you; you're referred to as "fools", and nothing good ever happens to you or anyone foolish enough to be around you.

Try doing some research before speaking next time...unless you absolutely insist on being marked as a moron from now until to the end of time.

For those who are uneducated but actually want to learn:

In 1946, the United States and all of its vassals (such as whichever country you're posting from) were taken over by the Intelligence Apparatus. Everything in the Western world--and I mean everything--is now under their control, and has been since before most of you were born.

Dave McGowan did some extensive research into how the entire hippie "movement" and the 60's LA music scene were entirely a product of the US Military Industrial Complex. Jim Morrison's dad for example was none other than Admiral Morrison, whose ship was involved in the Gulf of Tonkin incident which got the US involved in Vietnam. Funny how he never did mention this, and the fact was basically a secret until McGowan dug it up. Then there was Frank Zappa, whose dad was a chemical warfare researcher at Edgewood Arsenal. ALL major figures from that scene had deep MIC connections. Read his book "Weird Scenes Inside the Canyon" to get the full story.

All of these big tech corporations you know of--names like Intel, Microsoft, IBM, Amazon, Apple, Google, Facebook, Instagram--any that you can name, are 100% owned and operated by the US MIC, and have been from the very beginning. Fact.

"Our job will be complete when everything the American public believes is false." - William Casey, newly appointed CIA director under Reagan, first staff meeting, 1980.

Judging by the idiotic responses so far, I'd say they've succeeded beyond their wildest dreams.

In the late 1970s when Microsoft was founded, IBM was widely viewed as "Big Brother." Microsoft was the "young, scrappy, independent upstart" that was "putting one over on Big Brother." These people know exactly how to baffle you with a plausible but totally bullshit story, usually involving some "little guy" (one of you lowly serfs!) putting one over on The Man. In reality, IBM and Microsoft are controlled by the same people and always were, from the beginning.

Now back to Watson. I had downloaded the interview Gypsy Nirvana did with him a few years back, but never got around to watching it. Probably should have done so sooner. Wow, this video is full of tells.

Curiously, Watson does not appear on the video; he hides offscreen. Why would he have any trouble putting his face out there, after he's been in the public spotlight for so long? Obviously he's not concerned about LEO finding out who he is. It's well documented that Watson is basically the only guy in the Netherlands with a DEA import license. Perhaps the real problem is, he has a face that would be too easily traceable back to his very well known family, if anyone started pulling on that string...?

I just skipped to a random spot in the video about a 1/3 of the way in, and started watching. Within 5 minute he had utterly exposed himself as a liar. Example:

Q: "What kind of growing method do you use?"

A: "Organic"

Q: "Cool, what sort of NPK ratio do you look for?"

A: "....em, er....dunno...I'd have to look that one up."

LOL.

Then not long after he was asked what is the oldest seed he has? "I have 2,700 year old seed from China" was the immediate response. Wow, cool; what part of China did that come from? umm....er.....not sure....now the "I" and "me" is gone and it's suddenly "we", and he'd have to go check, and so on.

Within 5 minutes, I have the strong impression "Skunkman" has never actually grown a weed plant in his life. He may not even be a smoker. He was asked, what's his favorite smoke? "Skunk and Haze" was the response. 40 years later with all of the varieties that have been developed over the years, and he hasn't smoked one thing that holds a candle to Skunk or Haze. Right.

Clearly, R.C. Clarke is the brain trust behind anything and everything Sam claims to have done or knowledge he claims to possess in the cannabis world.

Gypsy has a great poker face, and he plays it off well, but his body language tells the real story: he doesn't believe a word coming out of this guy's mouth.

I got a lot of info just by listening to Watson's voice. The guy strongly reminds me of one or two characters I have previously met in decades past who were pathological liars.

You may have met one yourself, occasionally; they are very rare. These types have a mental disorder that causes them to lie, lie, lie, the biggest and most grandiose lies, one after the other. Interestingly, these people don't really seem to put much of any effort into making a carefully controlled and well thought out lie that will actually deceive anyone over the long run; it's just a mental disorder that causes them to lie constantly, on impulse. Just as you are thinking through the bullshit in the previous lie, they are off to the races with the next one. It never ends, until they die.

That's why this type normally never does make it far in the world. Only with the backing of a powerful organization behind him like US LEO, and with a mouthpiece like High Times giving him credibility, could Watson make it as far as he has and still have people believing his bullshit.

The pathological lying disorder, just like his narcissism, is also explained by being in the shadow of his powerful and famous grandfather.

If you read up on the history of Thomas Watson Jr, elder son of the IBM founder, even in the Wikipedia article it talks about the extreme pressure he was under to live up to his father's name; he almost had a nervous breakdown himself, before eventually going on to succeed his father and do well at IBM. Unfortunately for David Watson, he is basically a village idiot with no particular skills or talent of his own, thus leading him down the path he took of becoming a trojan horse for US LEO. It must be a strange sort of satisfaction for him to get to exercise his dubious "talent" of telling large, gradiose lies and "getting away with it" for so long.

The haughtiness and arrogance I read in Watson's online postings doesn't come across as much in his speech, and he does indeed use contractions often when talking. From his voice, I can much more clearly hear the child who is desperate for approval. That's why he quickly claimed credit for having 2,700 year old seed, before even thinking. You could almost hear the little rush of adrenaline as his inner mind recognized yet another opportunity to make himself look big and important. If you or I had collected that seed, we'd damn sure know exactly where it came from, wouldn't we? He didn't because it wasn't his seed to claim ownership of.

Day after day
Alone on a hill
The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him
They can see that he's just a fool
And he never gives an answer
But the fool on the hill sees the Sun going down
And the eyes in his head see the world spinning 'round
Well on the way
Head in a cloud
The man of a thousand voices talking perfectly loud
But nobody ever hears him, or the sound he appears to make
And he never seems to notice
But the fool on the hill sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head see the world spinning 'round
And nobody seems to like him
They can tell what he wants to do
And he never shows his feelings
But the fool on the hill sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head see the world spinning 'round
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh-oh, oh, oh-oh
'Round and 'round and 'round and 'round and 'round
He never listens to them
He knows that they're the fools
They don't like him
The fool on the hill sees the sun going down
And the eyes in his head see the world spinning 'round
Oh, 'round and 'round and 'round and 'round and-
Oh, 'round and 'round and 'round and 'round

Hello @just passin thru
First of all: I am also researching (more or less successfully) the dutch-cannabis-history around a (different) person and I know the difficulties that arise. That is probably why I am very well disposed towards you.

Back to the topic:
The times and social structures were different back then. Couldn't the story be interpreted differently? Perhaps daughters and sons of parents who worked in the computer-industry or the military went voluntarily and willingly into the "underground" of the slowly but steadily growing cannabis world(?).

Look, Old Ed, who supposedly brought the first "really usable" seeds to the netherlands, was probably previously employed at Edwards Air Force Base. Or Michael Cezar, who already had excellent connections to the cannabis-world, whose ancestors worked for the military, the computer- and electrical- and electronics-industries, among others. One of the best-known growers in amsterdam, who is still active today, was an employee of ibm.

Would you like to tell me what your intention was with this post?

As I mentioned at the beginning, I have been researching for a few years and am not afraid to write to the really big guys in the business; some answer, others remain completely silent. One of these big guys answered me something like this: "if you don't know anything, you tell. If you know something, you keep quiet." For people thirsty for knowledge like you and me, it is difficult to get internal information. It would be best if we had been there... everything else that was supposedly said and what was written should, in my opinion, only be taken with the greatest caution.

Do you have any questions? Can I perhaps help you?

Hello @Wobby
In another forum, the gentleman wrote that he was having health problems. That was in the middle of this year. Assuming that the writer really is the great invisible one, which is pretty certain ;-)

@Skunkerbudz
well, that's not the only thing you could say on the topic. but my supposed knowledge only comes from third-hand sources, mainly from reading a lot, I wasn't there.
that's why we're here, where it feels more honest, confirmed by many beautiful in-house plant reports.

back to the original topic:

@just passin thru

my supposed knowledge only comes from third-hand sources,
Sounds like Chinese Whispers 😁(may my political incorrectness be forgiven. But I've already got a ticket to hell for other reasons and way past half time.)

Although I'm unsure if I'll forgive myself, I'll ask anyway: When you say third-hand, I take it you mean third party. Did you get any information from people who were there? Or might I as well ask ChatGPT about it, if I don't need human interaction for the subject?

I just don't see what might have or not have been has to do with today?

Goodness, I didn't want to get that far into this topic because there are so many different sources with so many different details and because I wasn't there I can't verify their accuracy.
Just a small example: When did the gentleman mentioned at the beginning, or more precisely, his alleged "Skunk #1", actually came to the netherlands for the first time(!)? Late 1970s? 1984? 1985?
No idea what chatGPT says about that, but there are written sources for all three years that are accessible to all of us: internet sites, (older) books and (even older) magazines.
Precisely because of the different details from different sources, this topic is ideal for spreading conspiracy theories that I don't participate in.
I tried for more than a decade to find out who invited the gentleman to the dutch scene in the first place; One name keeps cropping up, but there is even less information and even fewer photos about this name than about the one originally mentioned here.
Today I am quite disappointed that I had to abandon my research with very few results, unfortunately.
My personal conclusion: If you don't let yourself be photographed, you've got something dirty to hide.
I'm out of the historical topic again,
with kind and green greetings.

I feel compelled to say that even a cursory review of Wikipedia information on the IBM Watson family progeny makes me completely doubt any connection between this family and the infamous Sam Skunkman.

Watson Seniors 2 sons died in 1993 (Jr) and 1974 (“Dick”) and more importantly both men were very active in American business and culture.

(I do find it plausible if one accepts string theory and alternate universes however)

🤷‍♂️
