1st a thankyou to shantibaba not only for allowing me to test but for replying to all my stupid pms

lets see .... backgrownd

(equipment)

geminated and veged
in a 1 wooden foot(ish) cube with 6 household bulb holders usualy about 110 watts 1x 120mm pc fan at 9 volts passave intake painted for light reflection

flowered
in a "chest of draws" about a meater tall so less than that for growing with light and all speeking of 1x 150watt blue "eco light" and 1x125 red and 2 120mm pc fans at 12 volts suplimenting with a deskfan inside (hopeing to replace soon) passave intake


story so far ...

8 test seed (affy.hazy.skunk) hit a glass of water with hint of seaweed 7 days ago thay sat there for 10 hours all but 2 had sunk i poked the last 2 thay then sank gave um another 2 hours ....

then poted into my tiny baby plant pots filled with compost/vermiculite and damped off and placed into dome covered tray

had an early germ and show but this seedling wilted and dryed up (i probly didnt plant deep enuff) as of today( day -1 ) i have 4 seedlings looking happy enuff

so i think that about gets us up to speed
will be updateing tomorow with pics then in weekly intervals there after

question ... with shutch littel headroom how mutch veg time ? i was origanaly going to mum up all seedlings but i have a cycle comeing up in 3 weeks (ish) so was thinking top um in 2 weeks and flower in 3? then reveg the girls when i have something off them to test ne opinions on this matter wud be more than welcome

Hey Alias,
When you're working with just a little vertical head room, a good rule of thumb is to flower the plants at 1/3 your total maximum head space available. Since you're growing what seems to be a Sat dominant plant, they may infact grow larger then that if you cant keep them under control. Some varietys, depending on lineage will grow less or more ofcourse depending on genetics.
Im not sure what medium you're using, but I dont use anything but perlite and vermiculite these days. When I first started growing, I was using soil and had just terrible yields, ugly plants and just more problems then I knew what to do with. A friend of mine here at the boards basically convinced me after 3-4 dismal grows to try a new method of growing and I havent looked back since.

(soil and a lota vermiculite is medium)

looks like 1 of 4 is ill may be on way out :(
 
repoted removed a few leaf .. suspected Rust fugus sprayed with organic cure stuff i found at garden center but only used 1/4 strength the rimander of whitch was prompty "borrowed" by another grower :D

test plants look a bit better but my own hack thats in has the rusty spot thing bad thow she maynot make it :(

there still looking sorry for themselvs atm pics when there looking better
 
looks like my sk#1 is gonna take another week but i cured whatever that discolorashon was and poted up(few days ado) my plan is to repot and put into sex/flower as soon as my crop comes in (and put pics up thow its been a nightmare trying to do so)

pack thay came in has "afhz x as"

somewhere on this forum some 1 stated thay where "(afgan x haze) x (afgan x skunk)

bouth names are a bit long so i just calling um affyhazyskunk till im corected on the matter :)

looking good, how many days did you veg them?, i too had problems with 1 plant which nearly died, thankfully its starting to recover slightly after a re pot, really looking forward to seeing them progress, hopefully we get a bit of variety in the phenotypes, i'm not too far ahead of you- im on day 4 of 12/12, 4 out of 5 have shown sex already (3fem, 1male), peace, Herb
 
20 days of veg by my maths thay are now in the floweing box

tnx for comments yea i know headroom issues worry me but im shure il manage 1 way or another

my skunk had to come down a week too soon to get these in b4 thay got 2 big

il feed um in a few days see if i can get um a bit greener

small update

fricking stretch! all 3 test plants gone a bit mental and reatching 4 the sky no sine of showing sex yet still a bit pale :/ lst started

and my hack looks like its growing balls shame its shutch a pritty plant
