Super Silver Haze x Haze AC testers

Vielen Dank @Schlawiener:)

Ich habe heute Morgen die Trichome überprüft und ich glaube, du hast Recht, dass diese Pflanzen nicht mehr lange brauchen werden, um fertig zu sein.;)

To this day, I’m unfortunately a bit imprecise about that! But back then, I grew one or two strains for a good three years. I could really tell just by looking at them with the naked eye—or by how the resin from the fresh plant felt between my fingers. Color, smell, and just getting a feel for it—that’s how you find your own perfect harvest time. Of course, you do check things at the start, but eventually, you just know it really well. At some point, you also automatically know exactly how much pH-down you need for your water and the nutrients you're using! Back in Vienna, the water was always consistent—an EC of 0.2, occasionally 0.3. It was truly perfect for growing, whether hydro or whatever else. Where I’m growing now, the tap water is at 0.6 EC. Suboptimal! It works, but you’re leaving some potential on the table. ✌️

Time for a test bud

Last weekend I cut of a little bud from SSH x AC #4 and let it dry in a small white paper bag.

The smell wasn't great because of the quick dry. I vaped some of it in my Arizer AirMax on 205°C and the high was superb  It hit me fast and hard but after a couple of minutes the high mellowed and left me relaxed with an eased mind. The sleep afterwards was deep and relaxing and I woke up with a fresh and clear mind this morning :)
The AC definitely added something special to the SSH (y)

It sounds very promising! And once again—those clusters you produced are amazing! It’s a real joy to see.

Day 50 of flowering (12/12)

Quick update:

Everything is still on track, there are 2 plants that will finish in around 2 weeks.
Feeding and lighting stays the same for next week.
The weather is still very good here so temps and humidity are good, let's hope it stays this way some longer.

Scents are still evolving but I notice that one of the sativa dom. phenos just has one amazing and loud sweet bubblegumish smell.
Very unique and special.

Well done Mr. Brown! 😊👌
I'm keen to hear what you think of her once dried and cured.
How did each lady smell at harvest?

So, folks! Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned. It definitely wasn't just pests—they actually prefer the heat over the cold night air, I reckon. Nutrient levels were spot on. I suspect the soil temperature is just too low. Normally, I use heating cables during the dark cycle, but the cable had somehow burned out. Still, I'm trying to make the best of the situation. I've released beneficial insects again and watered them with a soil conditioner. Let's see if they can bounce back. I could kick myself!
Sloppy work gets punished—you really have to strip off dirty clothes before tending to the ladies and at least disinfect your hands.
I hate having to show photos like this; I'd much prefer it otherwise. The smell of number two—I think it's Brain Goulash Sativa—reminds me of a good Ice Cream Haze. It’s got that sweet, zesty Haze aroma. None of that sweaty smell anymore. The clones are still healthy for the time being; I'll probably take them home with me. ✌️

Day 120 (day 1 drying)

Cleaning my scissors I got a little bonus of 0.15g hash
full

I'll mix it with the rest of the test bud and vape it this evening (y)

Seed count:
(SSH x AC #1) x SSH #1 = 33 seeds
(SSH x AC #2) x SSH #1 = 20 seeds
(SSH x AC #4) x SSH #1 = 30 seeds

Some facts:
air temperature ~20,1°C
RH ~63%
Water content buds ~20,1 - 24,3%

I let them dry for ~5-7 days until the water content is down to ~12-14% and then put the buds in brown 1 liter pharmacy bottles to start curing.

Have a green weekend

How did each lady smell at harvest?
Thank you @Swifty :)

The smell from all of the ladies are mainly floral with sweet skunky notes in the background
#2 had some citrus in the mix and #1 smelled kind of sharp menthol
Overall the smell when I opened the tent in the morning before harvest was very irresitible

I'm looking forward how they develop after some proper drying and curing (y)

IMG_5218.JPG

At day 36 a lot is happening.

Iam still adding Biobizz JUJU + Biobizz Topmax, and plants do love it, some more then I can give them :D
The average temperatures are 28C by day and 21-23 by night.
Lamp is giving some 140-150 watt of sanlight - that means around 35DLI.

The overall smells are sweet-cake like-honey mostly, with hints of fruits here and there, and some floral smells.

The room stick with this sweet smells on tent opening for some time.

Each plant bellow - next time, I believe I will take a camera :)

SSHAC #1
- this one is most hungry plant, based on her size I understand, she is pulling her lower leafs off so Iam trying to giving her more N
- on the other hand she started to picking up the colours - so I believe she could be the fastest plant here
- the smell is like dank cake - it is sweet and just a bit fruity right now

SSHAC #2
- seem she is getting ok with nutrient levels, and she is as assive as #1
- she is not nearly ready to picking up the colours so far, she is adding her sticky buds nicely
- the smell is sweet and bit acidic, fruity juice is what I think off right now

SSHAC #5
- this plant is the biggest producer of heavy flowers
- again the buds are robust and sticky, I really like these
- smell is just right #2, but louder at any angle, sweeter and danker juicy like #2, so this plant tick more than just one perk

b1.JPGb2.JPGbd1.JPGbd3.JPGplant.JPG

SSHAC #6
- she is bit yellowing from the bottom, looks to be later flowering plant so am adding more nutes - but Iam going easy on her
- most sativa of all tested plants, I like the structure and her tendency to grow upwards
- the smells are completely different then other plants, it is pretty damn good very sweet floral-caky smell.. Id say it is sweet molasses like honey cake :)

Day 57 of flowering today (12/12).

Things get interesting now.:)

Most plants are entering the final phase of flowering.
Temperature is getting lower, at lights on I manage 21-22°C (pot level 17°C) and during lights off I get an overal temp between 14-16°C.
Most plants show autumn colours and leaves are dropping everywhere.
There is one of the sativa ladies that doesn't like the colder temps and shows brown spots on the leaves.
They drink less and I try to keep them dryer now that it is colder.
2 plants looks ready, they only get water and will be harvested next weekend.
Most look like they will be ready after 10/11 weeks of flowering.
The others recieve 2ml/L Alga Bloom and 1ml/L Green Sensation every other watering from now on.
The leds stay at 75% strenght.

SSHAC154.JPG

I pulled this one out so I could reach the others better:

The sativa's are gaining weight fast:

This one is very dense and frosty, looks ready:

This plants also looks ready and will be harvested next weekend:
