SSH USA

4 weeks, I like the shortest one so far and it's much much shorter but it has that spearmint gum fresh smell when pinched. I'm bad at describing smells but that's how I would describe it my eyes get wide when I smell that. Super memorable smell for me. Reminds me of Amsterdam, reminds me of 90s and early 2000s.

Around 6weeks flower, I had to chop off the tops on two. They grew above the lights but that's okay. Three have some nice frost, the other three still waiting. The three that have some frost smell amazing. They might be flopping all over by the end but that's okay too I'm gonna run one or two or three of these again do some things differently for sure. These plants can get tall! I didn't think the ssh would get that tall to be honest but it's exciting. I would never run six of these in a 4x4 tent again but we're making it work and I'm glad I did because one of the last ones I threw in there, the smallest one, smells the best but that could just be because that one is going to finish first.

420Vet, you are making my mouth water, those hazes look great! Sorry to hear about your chopped tops. Still, yields look like they will be nice. I always found good uniformity and density with SSH, even mid to lower canopy. I love SSH's structure.

My first Mr. Nice grow included SSH, I've still a tiny jar or two of her. You've got me so nostalgic, I might need to steal a nug 😄.

HAHA man it smells really good, 3 of them. Kinda hard to find these smells these days at least for me.

The girls I grew frosted up nicely, and you're right... the smell on them is crazy! It is both complex and delicate. Mine smelled like a candy version of bergamot and fabric softner.

You should check out @Swifty threads on his keeper cut. Absolutely gorgeous and crazy informative thread. In one grow he had the same dilema as you and ended up chopping the tops. He does an incredible job at describing the effect and aroma/taste. If you haven't yet, I highly reccomend checking it out.

Again, you're doing a great job and thanks for sharing this time capsule of a strain.

Thank you! I've seen his threads, that cut looks insane!

Been 10 weeks, got a few that are gonna go long. Whats the story with the giant spear long flowering phenos? I have one that will go 13 weeks at least, that one smells eh idk how to describe kinda musky maybe. I have two that smell like oranges, I'm not a fan of oranges so those are trashed after this. Small little one smells sweet and spearmint gum def my favorate. The best bud structure one looks like a 12 week plant from seed, that one smells great fresh sweet idk def keeping that one to run again and do it justice. Then I have one that smells like a mango haze clone I had, has the same exact bud structure smells sweet earthy. Can't wait to run these again. Some tips from what I have personally learned. They don't seem to like alot of fertilizer. I use all organic dry amendments and worm teas. Flower these from clones not seeds and flower them super early as soon as they are rooted. The stretch is ALOT, prepare your tent by puting exhaust fan on outside. Two trellis nets for support. This is for all the tent growers that are confined by the over regulation. Hope this helps someone on the fence because I was for a long time but glad I grew these and can't wait to run a few of these again from clone I will know what to expect and make these adjustments!

Oh gosh yes this stuff all yields good. I can't wait to try this smaller plant again because it literally was overcome by all the others and it didn't get enough light. I also can't wait to try this 13-14 week giant spear one again too. All of these seem to be longer flowering maybe it's just different batches or something idk.

It looks like you have some serious SSH🔥 there 420vet.
Some very recognisable bud structures.
I also had a longer flowering pheno when I did my hunt that I regret to this day for not keeping.
It had a nice fruity and sweet sativa smell (nothing exceptional) but it carried a very nice clean and euphoric high after a good cure.
Space was a issue a the time so I let her go.

You make me want to revisit the SSH!
