LOL WELCOME. Thank you for bumping to page 3. With out further delay...

5 Wks (these plants are mislabeled in my gallery. I knew what I was doing when I took em...)

"E" pheno (most indica)

"A" pheno (most sativa)

A has the best visible resin coverage, and E looks to be the yield champ, but it is still way early. The plants remind me of pics that I've seen of nl x haze, and ISS/Sweet Skunk. Tall, long candlestick buds. Open structure, but dense. "D" smells like limes and SSH. Kinda like you replaced the dead stuff and lemon in ssh with lime skittles/cleaner. Really does stand out in the scent dept. If E keeps trucking along, I may pull 3 zips. The cola (1/2 way through) is about 18-20 inches long, and fat. They are sexy ass plants, and I am kind of looking forward to getting a few other plants out to give the SuperSpices the room they want.

Some shots of the Spice momma doing her thing. Just shy of 6 wks. FAT buds. She looks like she has 2-3 more wks to go, and will give up 2 1/2 oz buds, and 2 1/4 oz buds. No larf, and she is ~12-14' tall

3 clones of the plant that is outside (the 1 in the bookbag) ready to serve science. I'm doing a hempy vs. coco vs. cocomix free for all. The cocomix i the mix that I've been using, and the hempy/coco plants will eat the same thing. I couldn't get a ppm/tds/ec meter, so I am just going to try 1/2 strength nutes with occasional straight waterings.

I have 1 plant that I think is the same clone that is about a week ahead of these that will be going into the coco mix. This is the only cut that I have clones of, and if I had to guess, I would say that it is closest to A (sativa heavy). I'll get pix of anything Spice x SSH right to ya's!

I hit SuperSpice A with a late banana from SSH 2, and have a few fem seeds coming, so I will be playing around with those in the future. I also found a banana on my oldest spice clone, and rolled it over the 'black' spice that I have ~2wks in. I will start a 'Spice only' thread too, now that I have a few plants in flower.

Mid Flower Report!!

Today's sunset makes 6 full weeks of flower for my lovely ladies. They are shaping up into 2 pheno's. 1 pheno is more sativa dom, lighter green, serious resin production, lightweight so far.. The Indy pheno is big, thicker darker (not nec. wider)leaves. Dominant smell in the sativa pheno is spice, oddly enough. The indy pheno's are where the smell is at. LIME HAZE. replace the 'heavy-lemon-deadstuff' haze in SSH with 'astringent-lime-funk' haze. I had a very sexy bagseed outdoors that I had to cut (couldn't have a 10' pure sativa going in mom's tomato garden...), but it smelled like straight limes. These plants are the first that I've grown since that even resembled lime, and it is nice and strong on 2 of them.

"A" Pheno. Most sativa expressive of the 5 seedplants. Nice loose, semi-haze buds. Mucho Resinito!!. Nice and frosty, even though she has a way to go. She went a lil yellow during the week, so I hit her with 1/2 strength Age-old bloom (5-10-5), and tossed a lil castings and kelp up top.

"B". Looked a lil more sativa earlier, (B C D are all VERY similar, E is a lil diff.. A is a sativa diva, I think the clone that I am running through is closest to A). AWESOME Lime haze smell. Think "Washed my face with seabreeze, and walked into a room with a hot chick squeezing limes, and smokin pif."

"C" 4 nice heavy arms. A lil less lime haze (but it is in there) and a lil extra 'indica' funk.

"D". Dense buds, 2nd in lime haze only to "B". Bud structure reminds me of the buds from my SSH #1 seedplant. That plant turned out to be the kick ass haze, but takes a lil longer 11/12wks.

"E". The heavyweight. BIG cola, looks to be ripening quicker and heavier than the rest. Not so fancy smell, like a dank indica funk with a lil lime haze if you look (sniff) for it... Should DEFFO be done @ 9-10 wks.

The bud in the intro post is from E.

I plan on trimming all of the branches @ 8 wks, and start taking the plants @ 10 full wks+.

I am really liking these plants, and will be playing with these seeds for a while.

All 3 of the 'pheno's' are delicious in their own way. The sativa pheno has resin POURING off of it, and these sexy buds that look a lil like my pakalolo (sativa seed bank). The 'middle' 3 plants STINK of LimeHaze, with long, tight, NL/hz lookin buds. The indica leaner is FAT and fast. She could be cut now, but I will take her to 10 wks.

I will be taking the branches off of these to create some space, and fatten up the colas on ~Sun. The plants will come down starting 2 weeks after the trimjob. Right now, I am eyeballing the indy pheno 1st, then the 'less sativa' plant in the white pots 3-4days later, then the other gro bag plants, and the sativa dom plant will go ~12wks flower, ~14/15wks 12/12.

60 days, new page, new pix...

E - comes down once she goes bone dry. Prolly right on 9 wks since 1st flower. Showed 2 bananas, and looks to have stopped swelling. My digi says that she is mostly cloudy with some clear, and a few amber. I hope going DRY will ripen her a lil. I was shooting for 10 wks to start, but I am running low, and those bananas at the end scare me when I'm doin up some seeds...

They all seem to flush pretty easily, been water/lk/molasses for last 5 wks with 2 or 3 half strength nute shots mixed in. I was figguring on 10 wks, but she shouldn't be harsh, just no subtle overtones, lol.

C - Lime Fukkin Haze. Best 'fim job' that I've done yet, 4 nice big arms, no larf. 2 arms need support, and these plants have BEEFY stems. Bud structure looks like pix of NL/Haze that I've seen. Looks like the iffy seedplant, but heavier (and that plant was NICE..) Sexy claw buds. Bottom 1/2 is done, top will be done in 7-10 days. D is essentially the same plant, but untopped and no purple. Maybe a lil more indica in the smell, but same bud structure, and speed as 'C'.

C

A - Fast Sativa. Smells like SSH (deadstuff) with something tropical replacing the 'lemon'. Chunky, SEXY ass Sativa buds. Fluffy, but weighty nugs. I wonder if my sativa dom clone is close to this 1???? That would be nice, clones of 'A' and 'C'. But I know seedplants are like women:
They lie.

Chopped plants C and E today @ sunrise...

Nice thick buds, E smells a lil (afghan?) I dunno, like dank pot... C is KICK ASS smell. SSH with tropical/limey smells. These look to be the yielders. Plants A and B may have yielded more, but they are in smaller (3.4l) containers. Seedplants get over a gallon from me from now on....I hoping for a QP between the 2 of them, they are HEAVY wet, but that is subject to change.....

Yeah, man I would like to cure it, I really would... Usually dosen't work like that for ol' barletta. I was able to save some buds in the spring, but I screwed up my schedule (I'm still learning, like everyone else..) and had a DRY summer. These buds are ..um... spoken?for....lol

Those plants you cut look great. I will be interesting to see how they smoke.

You have a house and nice yard etc. How come you don't build a small greenhouse (for SSH outside)? Or you could get one of those portable greenhouse from "Flowerhouse". They are great. I have a friend here that uses one for legit stuff. I bet you could finish a SSH outside in one.

A GREENHOUSE? LOL, That's what's cool bout the internet, we REALLY don't know... LOL No chance, dude. I HATE sleeping on a f3loni3 (sound it out..) To me, a greenhouse is a lil bit of a flag. I grow peppers and tomatoes so that I have an excuse to use my deck (SWEET SUN) to veg/germ/quick dry... I try to ID EVERY car that drives by. I leave, and my mind races how things will go horribly wrong...dogs?..fire?...break-in?...smell?...warrant for the last neighbor/guy next door/guy with the same DOB... Um, no GH, lol. I have 1 plant should pull ~10-14 g (shit), and 1 nice sized superspice just starting to flower. She may have to go, depending on smell. I stick my face in front of the carbon filter 2-3x's a wk, to be sure (had it 6 months now...)

Please don't hate on me for the dark green on D. She didn't really munch on her leaves. Maybe she got more topdressing along the way, or part of the topdressing stayed dry then got wet toward the end?? I dunno, the leaves on the cola didn't change color, but were deffo using up the goodies. They were crispy, and broke if you looked at em rough...
