TY Rink, your SSH look great, BTW.
BDrizzle, I dunno, I usually grow in smaller pots and a better (warmer) environment. I bet she'll be around 2oz trimmed hard and dried. I think that if I ran the same plant in the same mix in the spring/summer I'd be over 3 zips. This cut will do 1oz/1gallon with little veg, but she takes 12wks. That works out to 2/3 of an oz (19g) in 8wk cycle with the same root/veg time. I had 1 commercially viable plant from the ssh so far. I'm hoping that the #6 cut is similar (1oz+/10wk flower). I took cuts this wk, so I'll prolly start flipping them ~Mar 1.
We'll see if this one rolls out some new bud over the next 2 wks. She actually appears to be a lil behind schedule. I wonder if it's cause she has so much more soil.
#4 is a POS for indoor yield, lol. It has a nice funky hazy taste, but ~6 gallons of soil, and the 2 established clones in this thread gave me under 2oz. I understand the cold played a part, but these things are like stems with hazy bumps... I have 1 more #4 in a 3 gallon ~7wks 2moro, and she won't be 1.5oz. She was vegged ~3wks, stripped for clones, then vegged another 2wks before I flipped her. I have 1 plant in veg that I'm gonna work with outdoors, but I flipped my last clone today. Watch, I'll get her tuned in a 1-2gallon, and be pissed I ran her out
#1 is a keeper, cause EVERY TIME I light some up after not having any of THAT specific cut, the thought is "Why don't I JUST run this???" It's that good. I's not a bad yielder, but no champ.
#5 is a fast, funky, frosty haze. Seems VERY similar to Medicine Man's #2 female. Just hard lil haze berries. She comes in under 60 days from clone, and the smoke is nice. Yield isn't very good, but better than #4. I'ma keep this one at least through the summer. This may be a REAL keeper if the indoor speed translates to outdoor speed. Dried nugs have a whiff of that coffee smell that I've been looking for since my teardown
#6 stinks in veg. I didn't notice until I took cuts outside of the grow room. I really liked how the seedplant performed. She had REAL aggressive roots, stretched, up up and away, but filled out rather quickly. The big roots made for big buds, and the smoke was stinky skunky hazy, and had a very pronounced creeper effect. This was the first plant where I noticed that. Seemed like a 'heavier' version of #1 to smoke, without the lemon/haze orgasm of flavor.
I'll get some budshots of the #1 up 2moro.
