G13 is thought to be a pure indica. Critical Mass is a reworked version of Big Bud, which is Afghan Skunk.

Shanti had originally done a preservation project to preserve G13 genes when his and Nevils original clone was declining. I believe that he used a skunk as the original outcross, then selected for g13 traits and possibly backcrossed.

Shanti now has a clone of the original g13 which he aqquired from a trusted alsource and has also been making new crosses with it.

Ah yes, i knew skunk was involved with Mr nice g13 somehow. My hazy memory tends to blurs things.. lol

As for critical mass, i'd be very interested to hear the origin story of that line, because it doesn't resemble big bud imo, so perhaps there's something else involved ? An Early skunk would be my guess just from plant structure..
 
Did you see Great white Shark in the mid 90's?
Can someone tell me if Shark Shock is the same as the 90's version?
It's a very special plant & i'm trying to get these genectics again.
I'm not interested in anything that hasn't been breed properly & it seems that most modern strains have been degraded
by cutting corners ie. spraying silver nitrate & losing important traits from the father male plant.
The white shark i grew in the 90's was 18% THC with the perfect terpene profile.
I haven't seen any of these modern strains that could compete with the 90's shark.

No I never tried gws in the 90s,
Maybe grab yourself a pack and do a pheno hunt, got to do the work to get the treats 👍

So after about 4 months cure Shark #1 is a really nice smoke,
smells like rubber and pine.
Smoke is piney fresh tasting and gets you nice and relaxed after a long day, good for chilling out watching movies or listening to music, gives me the mean munchies.
Shark #2 is very similar in smell and taste but isn't quite as good.
I will enjoy going through the rest of the seeds, im sure there is some real day wreckers to be found in this line 😀
