How old is the oldest mom now?
Must be over 2 years, look at those thick stems.
The oldest mom is ~1,5 years old because I used to kill all my moms over my summer vacation
2025 was the first year all my moms survived

A quick update from the project tent.More news from the project tent.
Inspired by @Swifty I decided to cut back and root prune my Shark Shock, Shit, and Dreamtime moms.
After the maintenace I put them in new 1 liter fabric pots with a 70/30 coco perlite mix and watered them with a light nutrient solution with Terra Aquatica Pro Organic Grow, Terra Aquatica Pro Roots, Terra Aquatica Silicate and some trichoderma.

That's a total of 9 bonsai moms and 2 bonsai dads in a 60x40cm tent

Today I took out all my moms and dads, gave them a haircut and cleaned the tent
The Shark Shock, Shit, and Dreamtime moms recovered nicely

Last week I gave my bonsai moms and dad a pyrethrum treatment and let them enjoy the sun on the balcony
In the meantime I use my project tent to start seeds and cuttings for my own projects and the family and friends outdoor season
Spring time is my favourite time of the year

Shit #6B aka 'Shittie Smalls' is my oldest mom and she's a little over 1,5 years old
I sprouted the seeds in February 2023 and she was the smaller one of twins. She was so small and didn't look like she gonna gonna make it.
On the way I killed the original mom but saved her by revegging a small branch from an almost finished plant.

In the meantime I use my project tent to start seeds and cuttings for my own projects and the family and friends outdoor season

I gave away most of the seedlings and cuttings to family and friends. I only kept SSH #1 (m) and SSH #4 (f) and repotted them to 1 liter pots with living soil
While my bonsai moms and dad enjoy the sunny weather on the balcony, I'll let both SSH flower in the project tent to make tons of seeds
