Hi Yes, Almost no stretch - peaked out around 4 ft with short branches. Buds growing fast now. Buds and leaves already very frosty.

so u flowered them at 2-2.5ft and they stopped stretching at 4ft correct? So the stretch is less than double I would presume? Mine stretched from 18inches to 54inches so i'm just trying to grasp your experiences. I am very impressed so far and your cola looks very nice! How many girls do you have by the way, is it 5? Looking very nice and your smell description sounds like something i'd deeply enjoy, i love that lemon/orange/citrus taste in a good indica

Hi C101, Correct. I have 6 fem Nl5xAf and 1 fem CM and 1 handsome male CM. NL5xAf buds now smell like shoe polish and to a lesser extent citrus/af hash. Very frosty and still at least 2-3 weeks from harvest. My 6 backup CMs were 5 males and 1 midget female(culled 4 males and moved best 1 to mensroom). I am finally feeling optimistic about the NL5xAf.

Hi All, Well all my backup CMs were male - the 1 I thought was a mini female CM wasnt CM - looked at label and it's 1 surviving freebie of Pineapple Chunk but it looks like ruderalis chopstick with 10 lil buds.

The NL5xAf females are bulking up daily, almost doubling bud size in last week - room odor is mild

Hope your ladys will bring u some good smke 2012.Here is two pics from my NL5HazexCriticalmass.This time in soil,5 weeks vegg under 4x36watt Fluros..sitting in 3 gallon buckets now..Nutrients are two diffrent batguanos found at Lotus and wormcasting..a dab of dolomite lime and ALOT of vermiculite.Now growing outside for 2 weeks..

And Sativa..mix of NHSxMWxBDxSSH

Good news from early smoke report

Hi Charm and thx all for stopping in. I cut and dried small bud on NY eve and man this plant met and wayyy exceeded my expectations- can't wait to see it matured and cured - this variety is as enjoyable, tasty and potent as MNS BW (different taste and effects). I have been smoking amber hash (kudos to Jump) for last 2- 3 days and this lil immature NL5xAf budlet cut right thru the Lao amber high. 3 cheers for MNS!

Such mixed reports

This is one of those things that really makes me scratch my head, Professor & Billy . I'm an indica fiend and a good Northern Lights x Afghan cross sounds like it would be the absolute duckies nuts . I've seen such mixed bloody reports on this strain I simply wonder " what the bloody hell is going on ? " Do you blokes reckon something might have gone wrong such as a seed mix up ? I see Billy and your plants Prof , as well as Holy's grow and I think " Me wanna , me wanna " then I see some of the disgruntled growers and I think" me no wanna , me no wanna " . Any views , opinions from you fellas would be greatly appreciated . Cheers .

Hi BB, These grew themselves - i went as simple as possible with 1200+ w mixed MH/HPS light, hempy buckets, superthrive and ghe 3 part using their recomendations reduced by 1/3. I have no idea why others are unhappy with this variety. My only complaint would be I want more - maybe I should cross with my CM male...

Hi All,

After aprox 1 week dry in bags and aprox 4 weeks in jars this is now insanely potent, strong initial headrush segueing into very nice long lasting euphoric head and relaxed body - 1 toke is plenty for me these days if I want to be able to function. Smells of turpentine and has a pleasant smooth inhale/exhale. I have experienced a bit of noia on this but usually related to over consumption. The bubble hash from this is delicious with a flavor thats like a mix of afghan black and red leb flavors. My dry yield was 20% better than my yield with BW. All in all a great variety that survived all my fumbling.
