Nirvanas Strawberry Cough Regular

Dear friends and fellow growers !

I have been sent a free pack of Nirvanas Strawberry Cough Regular seeds from a dear friend in Skandinavia.

My question is:Have none you grown this Nirvana strain,is it a good Medical strain as they say on the Nirvana site?

Input please...Thanks in advance friends:)

I got a cut of SC in May of this year and really like it. It's very resinous and has a very nice Christmas tree phenotype. It's fast finishing for a mostly sativa and very popular in the medical community here in Cali. It's OK for pain management and it won't knock you out.

Attached is my SC from Oct 3 @ 6 weeks. I'll post my harvest pics if you want.

Heard many good things about Strawberry Cough but no idea what Nirvana's version is like, sorry.

Well if Nirvanas is something similar to yours "cabbatari"i guess i have to start popping those beans ASAP;)Thanks for the awsome pics, looks really "wet"and nice..and do please uploads some harvest/smokereport pics too...:)

I took some pics of the SC last night. Did I say it was fast finishing? oops.

The last time I ran her she was ripe..RIPE..in 8 weeks. Probably because I solved a oxygenation problem, she's gonna take 10 weeks this time. Yes, I'm saying that a healthy plant takes longer to finish. When her roots look like crap she finishes a couple of weeks sooner. Whatever.

This is the healthiest, best looking plant I have ever grown in my 9 years of cultivating. I'm very proud of her.

Here she is at 8 weeks + a few days. The trichs are still clear, pistils are 99% white and the fan leaves are showing the first signs of yellowing:

Very nicely grown cannatari - Its always nice when you get to the 6 week mark and your plants are doing just what you want them to do. It almost makes you feel more confident in yourself when you have nice plants growing..

Enjoy her mate.. She looks like a real beauty.. :)

Thank you for the kind words Doobz. I am feeling confident in my skills from these results. The cultivation ladder has been a very slow climb for me and my current results are what I've been waiting for to justify cracking some MNS beans. I'm going to germ my Mango Haze beans today and I'm feeling very rockstar about it!:D

Nice mate.. I look forward to seeing how they get on..

There will be a lot of variation from seed, especially Nirvana. I found the tall, sativa pheno to be awesome, other phenos average at best.

Aye, stressed, unhealthy plants often 'finish' quicker, I think it's a survival response.

Very true that doobz about nice plants and confidence. Never ceases to amaze me how much my moods are affected by the plants I have going. I was in a great mood last week cos my garden looked super, this week not so much cos several of my plants outgrew the height available and I had to do some savage neck breaking.

I should also mention that the buds were 1/2 the size as they are now when she finished early. The estimated 2 weeks extra is definitely worth it. She smells even more amazing as well.

Thanks for helping me conclude that the unhealthy plant can in fact finish early, BH. I was trippin'.

Here's a little update on my SC. I think she is somewhere in her 10th week and I bet she's got another week till I start seeing some amber trichs. This plant needs to die, this is taking way too long for this strain. A buddy of mine seems to think that the main stalk cannot meet the demands of the flowers is why it's taking so long. I initially planned on a dual harvest but I have another SC ready to flower and if it takes 10+ weeks to flower her it will drastically throw my calendar off.

Damn she's looking great though. :D

Thanks, BLB. Indeed she is a monster. I will be happy to post a report for ya.
So...since I got this cut from a dispensary, it's anybody's guess as to where it came from. I thought it was probably Dutch Passion's but now I have found a local breeder of Strawberry Cough named Mile High available through Bret Bogue at Apothecary Genetics. His SC is Strawberry Fields x Haze.

Well, I chopped her down a couple nights ago. The pics of the dried bud is my sample from 3 days prior. Looks to be about 7-8 oz's.:D

Thought I better post some shots of my recent harvest before it's all smoked up.

I had to let the cut go to make room for Mango Haze so this is the last of the SC.

I fing love this cut you grew... great growing C...

Badlowerback, anyword, did you pop those bad boys?

You guys got me itching to pop CBF's Strawberry Cough. He apparently worked the line off of Kyle Kushman's cutt.

Anybody work CBF's version or Kyle's.

Take care,

CM

nice plant Cannatari

The real Strawberry Cough is a cut only "The Cough" (an 80's NL x Haze cut) x Strawberry Fields? I heard the DP offering isn't even related?
