Weekly update for Neville’s Haze Mango group of 7. 40 days old and I like the slow and steady growth Nice leaf structure.


Plenty of time ahead. Would like to flip these around 90 days, but it all depend on height.

Steady growth continues with no issues. It’s been 6w since soak, so I expect to see sex pistols shortly.


Leaves have an elongated skinniness appearance to them. Height ranges from 10-15”.
NHM on R, MHI on L. Nice side-by-side comparison:

Let’s go 2025!!!
60 days now for NHM.
2 Fems, 4 males + 1 still undecided.

Nothing crazy height wise, 19” & 22”, with ??? @17”.
I debated about keeping a male, but I have enough breeding projects going on, so I’ll use the Haze IBL male pollen to extend these. NHM x MHI pollen, hmmm, doesn’t sound so bad.

11 days later and growth has been steady but not taking off, which is surprising for this strain. A bit <60 days of veg.
31”, 28” & 20” for the still unknown(not pictured). Nice structure on R.

I’m going to top these shortly.
I’VE NEVER TRIED CLONING THE TOP STEM WHEN TOPPING
I’ve only taken lower branches and some half branches but never with a stem so thick.
My 1st test is with the MHI I just flipped and her tops.
I’ve been successful cloning “The Mu Way” with my ️ Power. Snip, water, gel, soil, mist, dome, mist and 2 weeks later, viola…

Decided to flip the 1 NHM that has structure:

For the love of NHM I’ll top her and take some lower branches and see how many I can clone.
Turns out that the UNKNOWN finally showed HER pubes. She’s a lady, whoa whoa whoa she’s a lady…
She will not need to be topped.
The remaining 3rd female is @34” so I’ll top her too and take some of the lowers.
The top stems are pretty thick so I’ll see how well Tops clone.
Grow well and prosper

I've cloned tops before Skuncle, it certainly can be done but the succes rate was lower for me.
I saw more wilting after a couple of days.
Pre widen the hole well if using plugs otherwise you risk tearing the base of the cutting up as you slide it in the plug.
Cuttings from lowers almost always give me 100%.

you know, I also sing a little tom jones every time I ID a female plant for the first time. Im glad to know im not the only one who goes "whoa whoa whoa its a lady" and does a little happy dance. Gets me every single time. always has.
