My issues

Hi All

Nevil,

I suspect the pain you are in is shit like mine. I try not to let it invade my life, but it does. Where as I would say mine is more my lower back. It is bad enough in my c-spine. That I cringe at the mere thought of you describing your neck issues to me before. I mean this now. I really hope you find a strain with great relief for that. That injection tore me up with pain for a couple days. Then another after a couple weeks. That was so bad. It was actually the deciding factor in me seeking surgery. I know you wish to avoid it. So I wish you the best with it. I would suggest a pain medication if it gets really bad that used to help me. Demerol, and Dilaudid are the only two things that have turly given me relief.

rimmeo,

I have not know Badlowerback for too long. Yet I feel like I have known for longer. He is a good guy, and a great friend. Even if we do not speak everyday. He has helped me much, and done what he can to push me in a good direction with my issues.

JKP,

Good to see you friend? How are you holdng up? Well I hope. Be well...Ns

Chronic pain medications and the increased risk of low testosterone

Well let me tell you this:

16 years of constant pain,S1,L5,L4 very badly herniated discs. And now i think i've found The Remedy..well not Shantis but Testosteron, jepp belive or not but i found my self lacking in energi,sexdrive..grumpy and my temper could flare up for only smaller things..

I started woundering about mens Andropause, well after reading alot i thought that i would give myself a online test:

Take the ADAM Self-Test

Oooh yes i was in a state of Andropause for sure.Went to read up on this subject and after checking whith my Doc he suggested a Hormon Treatment Cure.

Started two month ago whith two booster shots of Testosteron 250mg two weeks apart after that i got on Andriol Testocaps á 40mg.Two in the morning and one moore together with dinner.Did this for 2 month and let me tell you guys this:

I was stunned how my backpain subsided by ruffly 40-50%..a increase in sexdrive and my grumpy and hot temper was down with say 70% or moore. My friends and my wife has told me i look much moore happy and calm.I could go on on this and praise it all day/night long..but instead of that...Try it yourself and tell me how it worked out for you.You will not be dissipointed i promise you...Read moore Online here:

Low Testosterone and Chronic Pain

Just let me tell you this:IT WORKS LIKE NOTHING ELSE...NO MOORE PAINPILLS/SLEEPINGPILLS...just a few tokes before i go to bed...

Mine Tested 'HIGH'

After 14 years of constant pain, my testosterone tested 'high' (could it be the the fine mns genetics?). Throughout my years of 'pain', I've discovered that 'feeling better' can be a state of mind. When asked 'how ya doing', I reply 'I'm still walking (with a cane). It's better than the alternative'. Most people will laugh and continue the conversation. Some say 'that's what I say about getting older. It's better than the alternative'.
We ALL know people who are in 'worse shape' than we are. Sometimes, it's hard to find them but they are there. I had a friend many years ago who suffered for over 10 years with Crohn's disease. He had applied for Disability and was waiting for the results. He could no longer work at the small business that he owned because of the constant 'bathroom trips' and pain. After spending a few weeks with me, he tried some of my 'herb'. Within 2 weeks, he told me he was a 'new man', canceled his Disability claim, and went back to working 50 hours a week. This was AFTER trying all the 'medical profession' had to offer. Randy still sends me 'thank you' notes from time to time even though we are now 2,000 miles apart.
Point is: I REFUSE to let my pain CONTROL my life. I WILL CONTROL my pain to the best of my ability for as long as possible. My prognosis is NOT GOOD. When I stop walking, I won't be able to start walking again. I have a wheelchair to look forward to. DDD, Stenosis, L3/L4/L5/S1 are in bad, bad shape PLUS 3 forms of Arthritis. One surgery was enough for me to know that the 'medical community' does not have a clue as to what they are doing.
I've recently moved to the Mid-West (USA) from the GREAT Pacific Northwest for financial reasons. My PCP in Seattle was my only PCP for over 30 years. He knew me and allowed me to 'have a say' in my treatment (Patient Rights). SOME doctors in the Mid-West run patients through their offices like cattle. The patients show up at 8 AM even though the doctor NEVER sees a patient until 9 AM. The doctors then spend 5 minutes with each patient, charges insurance for 15 minutes, and is only interested in 'money in his pocket'.
One 'Pain Management' doctor tried to 'sell me' on a Spinal Cord Stimulator' ($20,000 device and procedure). I 'refused' after my 'research' showed that I was NOT a 'good candidate' for the SCS according to the 'manufacturer' of the device. I asked this doctor to supply me with 'proof' that the device works in the short or long term. He could NOT supply any documents. Manufacturers have been 'caught' paying doctors MILLIONS OF DOLLARS to endorse a device that does not work and can do a lot of harm. Be your own advocate. No one cares as much as you do. By the way, after 4 months of trying to 'sell me' the SCS, the doctor 'fired' me as a patient.
My next PM refused to prescribe 'Valium' to help with muscle spasms, cramps, etc. He tried every other muscle relaxer available but nothing worked. ALL the muscle relaxers were in the same 'family' (Flexeril, Baclofen, Robaxin, Orphenadrine, etc) and had the same 'warnings'. I went through "HELL" for 6 weeks before I FIRED that doctor and went back to my Rheumatologist who prescribed Valium so all is better now.
My second PM doctor 'under-prescribed' pain meds to my sister who died 13 months ago of an OD. All she wanted was for the pain to stop for a while. She had major back problems and Fibromyalgia. While I was on 100 mg 'Fentanyl Patches', my sister was on 25 mg. ANYONE who has lived with long-term pain knows that 'sometimes' you just need a break from the pain. Since she could not 'get relief' from her doctor, she went to 'the street' for relief. It cost her life. Over 10 years ago, I was spiking at level 10 pain for 2 weeks. My doctor was 'on vacation' but the doctor covering his patients talked to me for about 10 minutes and asked me what he could do to help. I said "Just make the pain stop for 24 hours. I just need a break from the 24/7 pain". Five minutes later I had a 'butt full of Demerol and a prescription for Demerol pills to last a week. This doctor had compassion. He cared about people. Too many doctors today just don't give a damn about 'pain sufferers'. We don't have a 'life'. We have an 'existence with pain'.
Complaining only hurts others. Complaining does not help you. Think positive, talk about the 'good things' you can still do and life will feel better. I don't have the answers for anyone but myself. If my ideas help, GREAT. If not, what have you lost. A little time and mental work.
Be well,
upperhydro

Hi

Upperhydro a belated welcome to Mns. As you know it is not easy to deal with the pain sometimes. I look very healthy on the outside. Except for the scarring on my back. It hurts to hear your pain. My L spine is shit. Exactly as you said. Now I have two fusions. The others not fused are in bad shape. Just odd you have the same discs bad. Same issues almost, and maybe just quite identical. Even so that does not mean I know how you feel. We are all different.

Now I hear you about the Demerol. It worked better for me that Morphine when in the hospital. Now a few years ago I chickened out on surgery. The pain was, and still is horrendous. They gave me Demerol then. Would you believe it didn't help? With the Demerol I was hitting 8-10 spikes on the pain scale. I was constantly at 7-8. Then I'd spike a 10. It hurt so bad, and hit so hard. That if I wasn't somewhere I could puke. It was hitting the floor. Around that time we moved. I met my neighbor. What a Godsend...he was shall we say a friend who procured some herb...lol. Almost four years I stopped pills, or meds. The herb wasn't quite kind. Yet wasn't bunk. It did the job even Demerol could not. I'd hate to think of life then without it. So how am I now? Shit I am ready to crack. I don't know how I hold it together everyday. I had a lil herb I grew recently. It lasted a month, or so. I averaged almost no meds during that month. Now I feel I could eat the whole bottle at once, and it would not help. As you say the muscle relaxers don't help. I am on flexeril. All this, and I have yet to hit 40. I can't say I know your pain, but I can understand it.

There are some really great people here. They have helped me thru some dark moments. BLB51 has been a good friend. Pushy, but in a good way. Always trying to steer menthe right direction, as have others. If I can ever help you, or you just wish to talk. Hit me up via pm's. I suspect that you have many of the same issues as I. My L spine reads exactly lime what you said. Ddd, stenosis you know the deal. I also have damage to my C spine. Bad yet no herniations yet. I hope never. Be well friend, and chat whenever you'd like.

So I haven't been Herr as much as I used to be. Yet I do have an update to my issues. Great pain today. Goofing off with my youngest. I'm sitting on the bed not moving. Just pushing him around. Having a good time laughing. He kicks me in the back right on the spinal area where they cut me. No pills helped all day. Why go to the hospital? They want to give me lortab 5's. Heck my weakest pills are 10's. Anyways I almost went in, but didn't. Later on I fell out on the floor again as I have in the past. Just lost all feeling in my legs, and hit the floor. I stayed there a bit. Then managed to get up. Mistake number two. I went down again even harder. I can't sleep even doped up. I hate the feeling of being in a prison within your own body. Yet my Dr seems to think I'm ok...Ns

Ouch

BLB..sorry it took me so long to find this..you guys don't sound good at all...and I just looked at the 3 posts on this page..Ouch. One thing, and I won't go into specifics, I have tons in common with all of you. Testosterone you say..I've been pursuing that but I'm not low enough for my wifeys insurance company to cover it..yet one grasps at anything at times no matter what the costs. Thanks for the link.
NoShow the very reason I'm still sane is the internet and the fine peeps you mention. Just having someone understand and listen is quite comforting.
Upper Hy..it's great you think those genetics help, good for you, I may grab some someday but there are many fine strains out there, I'm a hack creating my own..hope I don't get beat up for revealing that..lol.
I'll tag along and share what I can...DD

welcome

Doobieduck welcome to MNS. Friends I have made here like BLB, and many fine people here. They have been my help, and shoulder to lean. Sometimes advice is given, and sometimes a link is there. I started this thread with the hopes that one person. Not just me would find some comfort, and help. It has far exceeded my expectations. If you are facing any issues no matter how minor, or major like some here. I wish you the best. I sometimes regret the surgery, but then the amount of pain I was in, and am in. Well now are two very different things. My main issues now are mobility followed by still some serious pain. The muscle spasms, and such. Owww, but the worst is my legs cutting out. I will be walking, and then just hit the ground no warning. I hope to get back to work, but that doesn't look too promising. Either way I, and I know some here. More than willing to help if we can. If you read back a bit...Wait I will just post them up again. Here are some links I have found helpful. The first one was from me, but the second I credit to BLB51.

I know

Hi,

I know i said I'd stay away, but it is hard sometimes. I am back again. Hahaha. So here is what going on.

Have started to do more exercise. As well as eating better. I have been in alot of pain. Yet what worries me the most is falling out on the floor. I think I've also been able to isolate why I have those wicked dreams. A ways back JKP mentioned something to me about them. That the opiates I'm on can fuel them strong. I feel I've been able to isolate the antaganist. Right before the first surgery I was having to do 2-4 breathing treatments a day. When I tried the epidural shot, and not surgery. It relieved my breathing issues. Then not too long afterwards the second shot. I all but stopped the breathing treatments. Since then I have used the machine twice. Well yesterday, and today I've had to use the machine again. So I am thinking for some reason that the breathing issues, or the meds in the machine. Help to trigger them. I havnt been up this early in awhile. I had such a horrid dream last night. That I did not want to risk going back to sleep, and getting back into that dream.

Thanks to a friend here. I feel I have been able to monitor what is happening by keeping a good journal. The journal is too young to identify this. Yet I have what I consider a great memory. I was able to put it together. So we will see. Thank you all...Ns

been here

Hey Josh,

Thanks friend...I tried to be less involved for health issues, and did for a bit. Then I couldn't stay away. I appreciate your humor too. A good joke is always some of the better medicine. Be well...Ns

NoShow..that dream thing must be frustrating, along with your breating issues, geeze. Every so often I come up with a new problem, health issue, and wonder if there wasn't enough wrong with me already! It's a tough road buddy, but once you've had big time surgery sometimes there is nothing they can do for you after that. You just have to adapt to the ways things will be from now on. I was working with a local patient today, spent over an hour just listening to him on the phone, he was so happy at the end of the call to have met someone with similar conditions, someone he could relate to, someone who understood and listened. That's a big time medicine happiness, rarely experianced by me n you. I'm tagged up here. I'll listen if you keep comming by...DD

DoobieDuck,

Hehe Double D...Hahaha my lame attempt at a joke. One of the main reasons I started this thread was I had found many who had the disc, and/or back/spinal issues. I didn't start it just for me. I was hoping to get many here on the road to finding info they may need to help. I have learned much, and made many friend here also in the process. I have another Dr's appointment tomorrow. So we shall see. I know one thing I will discuss is the testosterone. I don't know if mine is a problem, but without this thread. I do not think I would have even known to ask.

Doobie the dreams are insane. Last night I had one. If you play call of duty, or have friends that do. You'll understand this next one. I was running away from people that wanted to kill me. As these guys were all climbing the roof of this house to shoot at me. I found a gun with the red dot sight. Damn if I didn't feel like I was in the game. picked it up, and shot a dozen, or so guys off of the roof before I awoke. What makes it so wicked is seeing the bullets hit them like I am the bullet, and waking up from it feeling like it happened. Let me tell you something I do not believe I have ever revealed. The worst dream I have ever had. I woke up one day after a dream. In that dream I had murdered three people, and obviously covered it up. Got questioned by the Leo;s, and all. No jail, cause they had no evidence. just their suspicion. Well I woke up, and started to immediatly freak out. I had really thought I had done what happened in my dream. For almost half of a year. I was fearful the leo's were after me. Even though I awoke, and knew it was a dream. I was fearful that I had done this horrible thing. It stayed with me the uneasy feeling for close to a year. I didn't tell my wife even as I had thought. What if I had?...There were also many dreams I've had of death, and gun fights, and other grisly incidents. I wake from, and do not know if I am awake, or still dreaming. It is hard to distinguish reality from the dreams at times. It is some crazy shit I tell you...

The breathing trouble. It is a strange thing. I had for almost a year. Used my machine everyday 2-4 times daily as I needed. When I had the second epidural. I don't know what happened. Yet it seems to have done a major good for me. I have used it since, but only a few times. Maybe a dozen in a year. So I am happy for that. I do greatly appreciate your concern for me. It speaks volumes of you. I especially like to see the mmj states, and those who help, or grow meds for others. I have said to a few. That is a noble cause, and I hope in March my state goes to mmj. As bad as I hurt. I am willing to take on the cost, and work in a garden to help out a few that can't afford the meds they need. I do have help from a non-mmj friend. So the heaviest lifting, and such I don't have to worry about. Another thing I would like to say to you. It is wonderful to have someone to talk to about these issues. You could have the same exact issues, but everyone is still different. Yet knowing that someone can understand is a huge weight lifted from them. I am taking that to me you have some serious back issues?

I had my 1st surgery, and five months to the day. I had the second...Let me see if I can explain this a bit better. My L5 was done, and the L3 was in very bad shape. L4 was not good, but better than L3. So the first surgery the Dr admitted made the L4 go out. Now rem the L3 was worse, and it is still hanging in there. I know something is wrong else right now. Hopefully tomorrow I can get thru to the Dr. I also am into a headache right now as I have some issues within the c-spine.

DoobieDuck...I take my hat off to you. I am sorry your hurt, but you do noble work to make sure meds get to those in need. If I was there. I would shake your hand. Just as I would anyone that grows for another.

One more thing friend. I don't know what type of jokes you like. Though there have been many in the sticky joke thread. I feel besides the herb. A good laugh can be just as powerful at times. Please read some. Copy them if you need, and tell them to your friends, or patients. Post if you'd like. See them, and the herb, and a kind ear. You could not ask for much more. I thank you for being you, and for your offer to talk here with me. Be well, and definatly keep in touch DD...Ns

Accepting the 'new me'

One of my biggest challenges is accepting the things that I can no longer do, from the simple 'opening a jar' to 'walking without falling'. Frustrating is not a strong enough word but I MUST learn to accept the things I can't change and concentrate on the things I can change.
For me, I can at least 'remember' all the physical 'fun' I had in my younger years. In my mind, I snow ski all of the slopes that I ever visited in the NW. I've tracked down 'trail maps' to remind me of the terrain, where the best 'bumps' were, where the best 'deep powder' was, and where we would 'meet up' to get 'toked' every hour or two. I also have 'score cards' from every golf course I ever played. Today, it's very easy to play 'scratch golf' in my mind although I averaged in the low 80's on the courses in the 'real world'. I do remember the 'Great Shots', the 'Big Bets' (won and lost), and the trophies.
I do my best to 'dwell on the good things' rather than 'on the bad things'. Even with today's body, I can still 'have fun'. Getting down about my circumstances does not help me. Getting down only makes me feel worse. I don't want to feel worse so I try to stay positive in all of life.
Be happy,
upperhydro

Agreed

My Friend,

I agree with you. Sometimes it is hard to remain positive. I am getting better at learning how to do things, or changing how I do. Yet I still have my moments where it seems dark all around.

Having help, and all from you. As well as the many who listen, or have helped. Makes it better. Being able to talk to those in a similar situation like doobieduck mentions is vey good.

I think of my old motorcycle. Then feel the wind whizz by me as I'd run the last 1/8th of the 1/4 in just under two seconds. Damn that thing was fast. Then riding a rocket with a turbo on it is a little crazy. Thank you for the thoughts, and help. Be well...Ns

Need suggestions, and HELP!!! Please...

Hi All,

I need some help. I don't quite know what to do. I went to my Doctor today. He was ready to release me to go back to work. I somehow got him to delay that another month. The problem is this. I am telling him what is wrong, but he tells me this.

ME: Dr I am hitting the floor, and falling out. That isn't getting better, and the cold is affecting me greatly.

DR: Yeah that is muscle spasms.

ME: That isn't normal though that they do thta.

DR: You will live with the arthritic conditions, and spasms likely for the rest of your life.

This is basically what he said. That I am ready to go back to work. My wife and friend who see me everyday. They both say I shouldn't. I walk over hunched back half of my awake hours. It is like I try to explain to Dr, and he says it is normal.

Well after first surgery he said pains I felt were normal. Then we of course found out he was wrong, and that led to a second surgery. Two major ops within five months. I was right, and I know I am now. Maybe not needing a surgery, but something is wrong.

Is it normal to have spasms so violent yuo hit the floor on a weekly basis? Last one I just sneezed, and it sent me to the floor hard. I could have easily broken my hand/wrists etc. It still hurts, and that has been about a week. Well given I am in constant pain, but...It seems like he isn't listening. How do I impress him to listen that something is wrong?

I feel if I go back to work. It will be just a matter of time before I am hurt bad again. Possibly getting worse so I may have more trouble walking, or functioning. I am not yet 40 either.

I feel that if I stay home, and on the course I am on. I will be able to have a decent life, and be able to do shit with my kids, and family. Even if I suffer in bed the next day from pain. I would rather do that, and suffer. Thank not have the chance.

Yet it is fast coming down to what will happen. I will talk to my wife tonight and talk to my lawyer tomorrow. I would just like some ideas to speak to the lawyer, or Dr about. I did ask about the testosterone issues, and it would have to be taken care of by my family doctor id that becomes an issue. Ok be well all...Ns

Documentation Ideas

Noshow,
Suggestion: DOCUMENT YOUR LIFE. Keep that 'Journal' up to date to prove to your doctors that YOU are taking an active roll in your health care. I keep track of BP every few hours (more when the pain level is high). I keep track of activities that could cause me problems the next day. I keep track of foods to see if anything is 'helping' or 'hurting'. I keep track of total hours of sleep, number of interruptions due to pain, etc.
You know the things that 'aggravate' your health problems. Some activities are 'worth the pain' (like sex) while you can live without other activities not so important to your human 'well-being'.
You might try to 'videotape' your actions in the room you spend the most time (or where your falls happen). You may 'get lucky' and catch one of your 'falls'. At the very least, you will capture your posture over the course of the day. Having 'proof' of your falls and posture can be very important. Your family's reactions could help your doctors understand just how much pain you are in.
YOU know IF YOU are ready to go back to work. If YOUR body says 'don't do it', listen to your body. Could other employees be 'at risk' of injury IF you 'have problems' at work? Sounds like a potential lawsuit if you go back to work too soon.
It's YOUR body. Keep it working as long as possible.

Documenting

Hi guys,

I have been keeping a journal, but more like a diary of the day. Not as intensive as upperhydro's. Yet I did start one, and I have many ideas after reading your post. An activity I used to like you mention intimacy. I am sure my wife knows I'm lying when I tell her it doesn't hurt. Yet the next day fearing getting out of bed for doing so. I look like I walk fine. Well with a slight issue. You'd never guess I am at a constant 5-6 on a 10 for pain. I have learned to trust my instincts. They tell me, and my body says no. Now isn't the time if ever even. I know there are those that have it worse than I. Yet having two major ops in less than a six month period has really wiped me out.

One thing I wish neither of you two to forget. I listen to, and am trying more so to put your advice into action. When I get up tomorrow. I will make a little sheet I can copy, and enter the info you suggested to me. Then I can add that to the rest of my journal. Thank you both for your help, and kindness. Be well...Ns

Journal

NS I hope you are doing well today. The journal idea Hydro shot by you is excelent. I have been keeping one for years, mine included BP, daily pain, medications, trips, activities, if you have the time jot it all down.. Going back to work buddy is tough. My doc released me for light duty..do not do that, period. Either you can do what you did before or not at all. The problem came when I could no longer perform light duty when my disability worsened, some of that due to going back to work. I then had a hell of a time with state disability and workers comp, then SSI. They will run you through the blender Bro. They don't believe in light duty, if you went back to work they consider you had healed and were capable of doing anything under the sun. Even if you get hurt on the job again, it will haunt you. Keep all doctor records, conversations, everything you can for future referance. Specially conversations with your employer. Good luck...DD

Info

Hi guys,

I will try to keep a journal. Some of it I don't know where to begin to be honest. See here is the thing about my work. I have seen people come in with a Dr's not for light duty, and get canned. My dr said I'd, or led me to believe I would be able to get back to what I do fully. I am in a maintainence position, and there is alot of heavy lifting avg 50lbs, and also bending, and pushing, pulling with these items. Then there can be alot of walking, and getting up, and down on machines. Just depends on my assignment for the night.

The thing that gets me is this. As I said about my Dr. How does he feel I can go back to work? As was said. You know your own body. My wife, and good friend both don't see it happening. From my wife's standpoint. I am sure she would like to have the income coming in that I do not now have.

My friend thinks I will be in a wheelchair by the time I hit 50. In a way I kind of agree. Yet if that is to happen. I want to have the best time even if short with my kids, and family. Could I go back to work? Yes I could, and I could likely do some of the work. When I was first injured. I used my mind to overcome the pain, and push thru it. I'd be walking with a friend, and have to have them hold me up as I was about to fall. Yet after all the shit that has happened in the last year. I don't have the mental side to help me anymore. I feel going back to work as do those close to me. It is only a matter of time before I get fekked up again.

A brief hstory I may have repeated...First surgery L5. The L3 was in really bad shape. Second surgery was caused by first. Was the L4. That L4 wasn't all that bad. So if it wasn't. I go back to work. What will happen with the L3?, or the other herniation in the Lspine? Yes all but one disc is herniated as we speak. Well not counting the fusions. The other is pretty much gone tho. I believe they call is degeneration, or dessication. The original Mri done five years ago, or so. Only one disc in my back was un-affected by dessication/degeneration. One disc...The rest of the spine...I'd rather not think of it. Yet I know one day I'll have no choice, and al this before 40.

Yet the thing I am most concerned about is being a father. I have two older children, and one younger. I want to be there, and do my best to do activities with them. As much as I can until I can't. They deserve better. Really much better than I am giving them now.

I thank you for all the info, and help. It makes me happy to see this site doing what it is intended for. Helping one another, and a great plant. Be well, and thank you all...Ns

Rockin a Headache

Friends,

I have been rockin a serious headache. I am stretching a headache into the fourth day. On a pain scale the 1st day was a 5-6. Day 2 a 8 or so. Day three was a 9. Today it has dropped back to a 6, but it is still there.

This is how I rate on the ten scale. Pain issues I am normally around a 5-6. So the way the headache is affecting me. I say 5-6. An 8 to 9 is pretty unbearable. While I can still usually deal with it. The only way a 10 is achieved is by vomiting, or being so ill your sick. It has been a few years I have had a headache this bad. I have had pain in the 10 range, and been ill from it. At a level 9 I am feeling quite ill, and ready to be sick, but just am not. I don't play with this scale at all. It is something I have not seen less than a 5 in a couple years. This is even with the surgery. I felt I was living with a daily 8 issue, and the surgery. Well it dropped me back to the 5-6 range. I know there are others with worse, and I feel bad for them. As living with chronic pain issues are just fuckin awful. I have another good friend here who suffers badly from headaches. Funny how just a couple weeks ago I believe I told him I was happy to not have had one in so long, and he was suffering.

Sorry for ranting, but if syill not well tomorrow I will go to the hospital. Be well all, and I hope you find relief...Ns
