My first Shanti/MNS Strain

Hello there,

At the moment I have a Puna Diesel Hunt.
Once that's finished in just 10 weeks, I want to grow my first strain from Shanti/MNS.

After reading through a lot of threads, these are my favorites:

-Shark Shock
-Angel's Breath
-Waco
-Widow Grail

My only experience with European genetics has been an Exodus Cheese cut; the rest were mostly American genetics (Chems, Diesels, OG Kushes).

Because of that, I'm lacking a bit of experience in that regard, especially when it comes to the Haze and Widow Genetics.
That's why I'm relying on you OGs for the right recommendation for my first Shanti/MNS strain.

The goal is to find a pheno that is suitable for daytime, haveing a good time with Friends and maybe concerts.

For Widows. you can't go wrong with Shark Shock, Black Widow, or Medicine Man. If you want exposure to Hazes, consider hybrids with 25% Hz; Early Haze, Master Kaze, ASH, Critical Haze. When you are wanting more Hz in your grows (50%), reach for the standards; Mango Haze and Super Silver Haze. Good luck on your journey!

Hello welcome,
I think that if this is your first time growing proper F1 hybrids (with lots of phenotypic variation) and you want a daytime strain, the best choice is the classic Super Silver Haze (regular seeds, of course).
Otherwise, the four varieties you mentioned are fine too, perhaps a little less conventional or typical, but for daytime use, Angel Br., Waco or Widowgrail are excellent choices.

Thx Mate

I know that the SSH and maybe Mango Haze would be fit the best.

But im a Guy thats like the less conventional Things.

My other Idea was to start with the Black Widow.
Because of the fact that i never smoke and grow this Legend.
But there is the Same Thing Like with the Shark.
How big is the Chance to find a good Pheno for Daytime

@Brandy
Im growing The Doors, Holy Grail and Neville's Haze Mango rightnow, I have 7 females and 2 phenos of Holy Grail and one of NHM are very solid.

But it’s a matter of personal taste, The Doors seem to have a flavour closer to a "Metallic Dutch Haze/SSH", but strangely they flower rather slowly.

WACO or WidowGrail are very specials strains if you like new flavours.

.Widow and shark shock are tried and true genetics that will serve you and your friends well given the basics of cultivation.
Remember, the harvest is only the cherry on top, the delicious cake upon which it sits is the growing and learning, that's the real prize..

Good luck.

Welcome Brandy!

I see a lot of good suggestions here already.

Neville's Haze Mango, there are diamands in there.

High.:)

NHM is a very underrated strain imo, lot's of pheno's in there that are different.
There are definitely unique smells/tastes and high's in there, recommended!

NHM is Neville Haze x Mango Haze?

So more an the Haze side than the Angel Breath?
Neville’s Haze Mango has the advantage of being the world’s only original F1 strain to have the ‘Haze A’ male in both its parents (mother: Neville’s Haze; father of Mango Haze = Skunk/Haze A).

The Haze A male is used less frequently than the Haze C male (Haze C is the male used for Super Silver Haze and Jack Herer), but it produces plants that are just as potent as those from Haze C (some even say slightly better) and offers many unusual and original aromas.

Given that Neville’s Haze Mango carries Haze A male genes from both sides of the cross (mother and father), it should be more strongly influenced by the Haze A male than other strains.

@Switfy :
Just a small correction, Neville’s Haze Mango is 25% Haze C + 25% Haze A.

Not 12.5% Haze A.

Sorry for that dump Question
But was the different between A and C?

Unfortunately, I'm not that deep in the rabbit hole yet.

The matter has not really been clarified to this day.

Both males come from the same parental stock, but as the crossbreeding was partly carried out through open pollination, they have distinct parents and are differents (they are siblings).

Some say that Haze C is more influenced by the Thai side and Haze A more by the Colombian side, but others say the opposite as well... Also Haze A have maybe a bit longer flowering time but again nothing really proved.

I suggest Shark Shock. Very easy to grow and a quick flower time.

If you have some experience I would go with Mango Haze as Musashi stated. I promise you will have a good time with friends and concerts.
