i like this site because the vast majority of its users/ growers know what the fuck thay are talking about and post grate pictures of their grows. a lot of other sites i visit have lots of theories of what should work better and then it all goes in to a flame war. i think over here we have growers/ blowers who are more mature who have grown for a lot longer and take the time to read what is what in the world of cannabis and take pride in what they want to grow and want to learn more about the plant and its history.
i cant think of one post iv made and someone as called me out on or i have called them out on since ive been here? while on other forums im called out all the time and have to prove the little shoe box growers wrong time after time LOL

Uk420 is a good site for grow info but the moderators do stifle debate. The mods display all the characteristics you'd expect of a randomly selected group of people.. brilliant, boring, funny, interesting, belligerently stupid. It isn't really any one persons fault in particular. I was once told by a mod on uk420 (without an ounce of irony or self awareness)

well in the end online sites are run by people and ultimately someone or some group paying the bills and managing things. Big communities, changing and precarious laws, border line businesses etc...can all cause the Che Gueva`s of the world to eventually change, metamophisis and grow into another form like Fidel Castro. Actually in the cycle of life of an individual it is a fair and justifiable life journey. However to followers who tuned in for certain periods, or an event, or an instant, they felt it and feel it from another eye. Also fair ...
I did speak to Joolz several times lately. I think he is a good person as too most of the guys I talked to there moderators to indiviuals. Admittedly I was not there alot, but serviced things and kept an eye on things from time to time. I think the presence of MNS helpdesk brought them some prestige as they opened up growers to MNS and our world. So for that we should all be happy. All entities have life cycles and this maybe ran its cycle...
I was a little upset at first myself as I felt like my place there was familiar.When it was taken away it was like a phantom pain of a limb you lost. But I see Joolz and his comrades point and wish them well. They have and hopefully will continue to do a sterling job keeping people talking in an industry where 20 yrs ago was unthinkable...in a country that use to think soap bar was real hash, and in a climate no one ever thought could produce some of the finest growers of specialised Haze hybrids only dreamed about ....so no need to only see things change in black but they also change in white. Cheers to all of you who saw , visited or read the helpdesk there...just because you no longer see it does not mean it never existed .
So all the best to Joolz and the boys no matter which way the road takes...remember there are many roads to Rome. No one is the right one or wrong one...it is the journey that counts.

go over there and ask him if he as nothing to hide he will tell you him self it was posted on uk420 the/ his local news paper report of the case iv had a look for it, but cant find it, it was a few years back when i 1st read it.Not that I disbelieve you, and please forgive my ignorance, but I am entirely ignorant of the bust(s) and court papers mentioned? Could you please provide a link or perhaps some quoted posts or maybe point me in a direction so that I can see the whole thing for myself? I only ask because I wouldn't have the first clue where to look/search for the info myself...else I would not ask.
I just want to know the full extent of this thing as far as open posting will allow.

I am just stunned by what you just said. I've never been a member over there, just lurked a bit from time to time. I was over at ic for a little while till I got a bellyful of the people that run that..ok I'll be nice and say website....From having read this entire thread and then the last couple posts by you and JKP, you guys are making me a bit paranoid of even signing up over there even just long enough to ask.
After looking over most of this site, and seeing the openness and positivity of nearly every single person whom I've read posts of, and knowing Shanti's reputation for honesty, I think I'll just choose the simpler way and just believe you guys. Looks like I finally signed up for the right website

i dont think you have anything to worry about as i have said i dont think joolz is a grass. I just found it odd that he gets busted and in court he tells the judge that he runs a successful cannabis growing site and the judge wishes him good luck on running the site

JKP likes to lay it on thick looking for sympathy and charity from members . He will promise to pay you back , but never does . If he has your details , i feel sorry for you . Oneday he may threaten to use them against you. He posted a very well known and respected members private details on PG .
Joolz still has the evidence of JKPs antics and e-mails , which were along the lines "Remove the posts exposing me , or i will call the police . You have an hour or i m calling them . Tick , Tock , Tick Tock "
Anyways , personally , i think uk420 is an excellent knowledge base , with genuine , down to earth members .
