Haha now that's something I'd like to see, you punch him in the balls, he's down for the count....next day all your tops have been chewed off

So, they will eat your grass plants?

Hi m8, great plants aswell as the plant and wildlife shots. Man when those male roos go at it you can hear the back leg strikes from across a paddock, such powerful creatures, we used to get the really big reds that came up into the mountains from the dry west for better grazing, used to hear the fight usualy before seeing it.
much respect
moonunit

Hi Mate......Yeah we used to get the Big Reds in West OZ.....If you are close enough you can see the fur fly when they really fight......I think these guys were just practicing, the boss roo, looks like he has muscles in his shit and that dont fook with me look:D

They have thier moments:mad:
Sometimes they are just interested in the weed nearby, but then they can turn around and do a taste test on you......if they like it , then you are in trouble.

Ok here are some more pics.....The first one is the Mullum Madness, it was put in about 3 weeks later than the others, but is already passsing everything else:D

The other shot is the Hawaiian/Nam in the front, then Nev Haze and then MM.

Thanks mate.....I just did a new compost add and then re mulched, Ill do one more before head time.
I was just looking at some pics of last year to compare to this year and it looks like the MM is on track to be as big or bigger as it is not multi branched this year.
The first pic was taken today of the MM and Nev HZ and the other was taken on the 17th of the 2nd 45 days later, the MM is on the left of the pic. I might do a height check in 3 days time to see what the growth rate is.

hiya mate there looking good think once the sun comes out they will explode the Hawaiians are looking real nice to.

I dont know Bushy never measured her. I was up on top of a ladder with arm outstretched and still couldnt reach the top......so she was up there.

Hi Ya Hempy....Have a good holiday mate:D
The weather here has been unreal with sunshine for the last week, just had a couple of storms bring a bit of rain yesterday, but not to much as they went either side of me. We needed a little bit as I was starting to have to water the vegie garden again and I have a heap of fruit tree's here that are still in planters.......but I guess we have more coming soon, I just hope not like the poor Queenslanders, thats really bad:(

Hi all.....Well with Bushy asking about heights I decided to do some measurements over the last 2 days on the MM and at the moment growth in height is 150cm a day 6" old scale.
Also I just did a measure on the MMxMMMG and she is now topping over the 3 mtr mark and should finish around late April to mid May depending on weather.

Does the Mullum Madness outperform the other varieties because it's so fully acclimated to you location?

No mate I dont believe so, the OHxWW and the MMxWW are growing at the same rate as are a few of the newer strains.
When I start my breeding program I put all my seed through a pretty harsh start to life, unless it is a very rare strain or I only have a small amount of seed. The reason I do this is because I am looking for the strongest and most vigourus plants, male and female, and this is the first cross I do. I can always work on potency if needed next grow.
So as Bushy has found out everything that he has of mine is growing with that vigour and health as long as the feed is kept up to them.
Here is a pic of a Malana Cream female that I kept because it ticked all the boxes, I have also kept 3 males that I like as well, but when i taste test them I will only keep the best one.

I wonder if the Malana Cream is from Malana, Himachal Pradesh in northern India, or Malana in the Khyber region of Pakistan.

Hi mate, how many weeks of flowering have you observed in the MMxMG? I would have thought the 75% MM in MMxMM/MG would make it a late May, early June finish.

Here ya go mate.....

This famous North Indian cultivar produces the legendary "Malana Cream". Native to the sun-drenched ridges around the village of Malana, between the the valleys of Kullu and Parvati, at heights of between 2500m - 3000m, this line is a true resin factory. Intensely aromatic flowering tips gleam with trichomes and a large percentage of plants will become covered in a layer of buttery, creamy resins in later stages of flowering. Plants reach heights of over 3 metres and are vigorous and prolifically productive. Aromas are anything from malty sweet mango, to creamy sage, or diesely grapefruit - and no doubt many other mindblowing flavours and highs. True Malana cultivars are still renowned as the best in the Kullu and Parvati region and will produce the Champagne of the cannabis resin market: Malana Cream.

Those pics of J were taken on 22/3rd it went about another month after that, I still think this cross wont go much longer.

Hey, Kangativa, I just wanted to let you know that your absolutely the best outdoor grower I've ever seen!! If i could one day grow plants half as big as yours, i'd die a happy man.

anyways... I'm starting to prepare for this next year in the north, and i was wondering how deep do you dig your holes?

Hi Tex....Hey mate thanx so much for the comment :o. Dont know about the best though as there are so many other awesome outdoor growers around.

Hey mate i dont really worry to much about depth unless it is hard clay soil then I try and go as deep as possible and also use gypsum to help break it up.
If it is resonable soil I will only dig just past the depth of a pitchfork or big shovel.....the important thing is width and if possible try and work it during the season just to stop other roots competing, but not to close to the drip line of the plant.....Hope that helps and all the best with your grow mate...cheers K

Ok here are some a pic of the Nev HZ starting to stretch her legs and 2 pheno's of the SSH.
