Mango Haze Inbred in the water.

Sleeping..

Shouldn't have disturbed her but it was only for a minute or two. I think she is done with the stretch. I cleaned her up downstairs some. I like to get rid of the little shoots and stuff that doesn't get light. Repositioned her in the net some and she got a nute change,

Everyone got a light foliar feed of Magic Green tonight and a fresh nute change.

My Mango Haze outdoors (I think I have three left) are the second most stretchy and vigorous out of my MNS strains. They have fat leaves for a sativa dominant polyhybrid. That NL5 must be a very dominant leaf phenotype because my Nev Hz last season all had fattish leaves too.

So far it is The Doors blowing everything else away in terms of stretch and vigour. It is more like what I would expect from a heavily haze influenced hybrid. I'm really looking forward to seeing how The Doors turns out.

When I say "more like what I would expect" that is not meant as any sort of dig at MNS strains. I'm still learning how weird some of these MNS strains are.

Like last season I grew Nev Hz and it looked nothing like a 75% sativa to me. Sure it stretched heaps but still only half the stretch of my Thai plants and the leaves were much chunkier than I'd expect from a 75% sativa with Colombian and Thai genetics... let alone Indian (Kerala) which can have pencil thin leaves. I have Kush dominant hybrids with thinner leaves than the Nev Hz plants I had last season.

Then the Nev Hz went and showed really deep tropical sativa heritage by starting to flower after my pure Thai and running on even longer and being even more fussy in terms of temp. No doubt at all that there was real tropical sativa genetics in the Nev Hz and really interesting the way it all comes out at flowering time.

Looking good Arpege. You sure can grow plants fast the way you're doing it and they look pretty good and healthy.

Great info Scrubdog. Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate the kind words. Looking forward to seeing your MH and the Doors!

Coming along nice my friend, any good smells so far ?
Thanks MW! Appreciate it. Smell is still a little green with a touch of sweet. I have to check them with clean hands next time because I had touched the Medman by accident beforehand and she is starting to really smell nice. Sweet but obviously still a little green. I pick up almost like a sweet garlic smell if I rub the stem. When I say garlic, it isn't pervasive , faint.. its that nice garlic smell when it first starts to cook in good olive oil. Both are still young. I don't like to touch the flowers when they are so new. I always feel I like I am going to damage those little hairy tops.
thanks again for checking in my friend.

more room

The NH in front of her ended up a male. There is now a bunch of room for her. The thing is I think she is about done stretching. I am going to be training her the best I can thru the net to get as much light penetration as possible.

Nice going arpege.
I reckon the removal of the NH will help her out a lot in terms of light and space.
She is probably thinking exactly the same.
How many days was the stretch?

regards
norty:)

Pray for the chunky pheno!

Hey arp!

All looks well..: expect 5-7 more days of low nutes and then she will want them cranked back up...

My regular version have begun to foxtail and im considering dropping the light hours to 11/13:.. About 3 of the 11 have a beautiful calyx structure with stacked pointy beaded calyxes that is simply mouth watering. One of those three seems to be the princess of the litter but only another run will truly tell.

On the flip side i do have 3 others that just dont have the same glamour as the ones surrounding it. The other 5 seem to be some where in the middle... Around 53 days for me... These last couple should be really interesting..

Hope that med woman doesnt take over the shared space...

Interesting that they added that flouro to the middle of the unit. Pretty cool.

How are you liking the box overall??

Hope all is well!!

Og

Overall I am loving the box. There is something about it that makes me feel secure. It has many limitations as we know but I am learning to deal with them. You have helped for sure. Yeah the Fluoro addition is a nice help. I use a 125...There is a little shelf you can use underneath it for cuttings as well. I got a great deal considering I have the dryer which I use as a safe.Lol. I still don't know if there is a filter in that square box or what. Mine is from 2009. I have been lazy and haven't tried to take it apart yet. All I know is those open fins in the sides can't help with odor control.
I think this girl will be a decent yielder in the right situation. She is starting to cola up in some spots and spread her wings. I don't expect much from either plant at this point just because of the circumstances of summer, first grow, seeds... etc.. I have cuttings and we will see. She might need a different space to show her true potential. I am just happy that she is pretty healthy and rolling on.
thanks for your support brother. It means a lot!

Nice grow , Thanks for giving me a small idea of what to expect regarding the IBL and it's stretch. Looking forward to see your flowers bulk up.
I popped 3 of my IBL beans and got 3 females, at about 5 weeks in veg and can definitely smell unripened mangoes already.

all the best SJE

Arp :) Nice job dude, I can see that by lagging on checking the website I've missed a bunch of your work. Going to try to take care of that this week. O in front of G is the man isn't he :D I dig seeing members helping each other out, I have been super fortunate in that respect as well. Keep in touch bro:)

Thanks SJEB and Cavemyman...
This plant is starting to flower nicely and finally giving me a scent. I can't say mango at this point but it smells just like unripe cannabis. Too green. She has some nice colas and I am happy how they are progressing in this nutrient/plant mix.
