Mango haze and co

Hi, it s my first try with Mango and I m very pleased for the moment with the two girls I have.
these two babes have been vegged for a little while before being switched to 12/12 and had little issues coming from a soil PH being too acidic, hopefuly this problem have been solved with a total soil change.
they are flowering since 23 days......around 9 more weeks to go for one pheno and probably a little more for the other pheno.

hello max, if your pictures are on your profil album, open it on a second page and copy and paste the bb code of your picture in the first page where you have your thread and post open or if you want to post bigger pictures i can explain you an other method but you will need to resize and upload your pictures in the members galleries.
are your two females from seeds or from clones ?

Hi everyone,,

Sorry for the lack of updates people, I have no excuses.

Out of two Mangos one turned out hermy so I discarded her and got a fast finisher left.

The mango left was pollinated by the two mango males I ve selected. The selection was made easily,, these two males were the only ones who did not start flowering while in veg so they got picked naturally. Luckily they both had different structure,, indica and sativa.

It s a shame the pic doesn t show the difference.

The Mango girl started quickly to show her seeds (3-4 days after if I recall correctly)

It was a great feeling to see my first ever made seeds or at least the shells of future seeds. Really good feeling.

I could have harvested the pheno I had right after 8 weeks, yes I know it seems to be a short time and I was also very much surprised. But I took it to ten weeks to make sure the seeds were done and also to have them 100% rippen.

I was 200 % happy with my few pollinated buds they gave me more seeds than I expected.
I had three small top bud like this one with seeds

And I harvested this many little beauties

During this time I also run Critical haze

I had 3 different phenos, two with nothing much to talk about and one who end up hermy but was really covered with sweet sugary cristals and a nice light purple color. This one got pollinated too.

The nl5#haze must be 4.5 years old from seeds S13.
If I had to describe this variety with words every one could "see" then I would say that it is heaven. 9.98/10 if you find "your" right pheno.

The Mango did not have the expected taste and smell, no mango in it just very strong and musky taste and smell. Very high high. A sat/ind,,high and stone at the same time, like having motivation and laziness in the same glass. A little complex and really well working.
The pheno I had (my only pheno anyway) was in most way just the total opposite of what I was expecting,,, an 8 weeker having this smell and taste with mango haze must not be average in this variety so I believe it s not the best representation of mango. But as breeding material it was probably one of best mother I could have gotten,, 8 weeker female X indica style male and also X with sativa style male.... This means that the find of definite jewls in the offspring is gonna be possible.
