MH inbred is one part of a back cross i did some 16 months ago when i was playing around to find a 8-9 week cloner. Did not finish this work and there are some gems to find in this seed foresure....not much more info i can offer on this...as i did not test it in this batch, only germination was tested.

You do have permission to quote these two pieces of information if you feel they help clarify things on the respective areas of relevance. Sb

Awesome!!

Yeah of course these caught my eye immediately.

Thanks for taking the time to dig deeper and get the background info out there.

Good luck to who ever wins them and hopefully they will put up some pics. Lucky lucky.

Did you happen to ask about the z8 x afghan haze??

Thanks for sharing

Og.

lol. Hey OG, That's funny you ask, I was wanting to snag those z8's so I didn't put that part in....

The Z8 x AH is truely an experimental seed as Z8 was kept as a selection with Z6 and Z7 but never used. I did a few plants with my Afghan Haze male and sorry but no more info with fact behind it.It is a plant that needs to seen and the F1 tested to go on further with CBD enrichment, so i offer the work for others via the auction site.

Tricky tricky piranha

Haha hey mp.

Sorry to foil your plans of total auction domination. Haha

Thanks for being a true sport and sharing that direct info. Should save shanti a couple hundred Pms.

Hopefully these limited editions stay in house and we all get to see what comes from these packs.

Thanks again mp

Og

You must be that dreaded Bidder 1 I keep seeing :mad:lol. Hopefully they'll be more offerings like these coming up. The mangoes are getting up in $ and there's still over 3 days to go.

LOL

Well I hope you guys aren’t Bidders #1 & #2 on the MH Select, lol. If you are at least you’re good sports about it.

I remember a while back there was a misprint on an offer, the description didn’t match the strain. I was interested in bidding on it if it actually was the strain listed. To be discreet and not draw attention to it I PM’d Simone for clarification. Before she got back to me somebody had posted it on the forums and that was that, lol.

It’s good to see Shanti diggin’ into the stash, great idea for the Holidays!

This Mango Haze inbreed sounds intriguing but may take more care than expected. I only say this because if not for Hempy's coaching many of the phenotypes I had would have died.

The mango inbred seeds sound like a good choice for a quicker flowering mango.

Hi Dawn, what extra care was needed for your MH? My Nevilles Haze Mango seemed to grow itself in very harsh condition without any help. I only added pure water from march til november.

I had atomic NL5, SLHz and CMass next to it that didn't finish due to water stress or botrytis. The NHM never had any of these issues and the finished product is top notch. Chuff on this and it will change your perspective on time, space and reality :D

 already more than 200 bucks ! it looks like a test cross, it will be interesting to see the progeny for sure, there are a few phenotypes worse creating several different lines in the mango haze F1 and we can learn some things growing this backcross.

There will be some expert growers bidding on this good luck.how many seeds would you get if you don't mind me asking.I'm skint so I'm out of it.my buddys mango haze takes exactly 8 weeks to finish producing 2oz from a flowered clone with no veg ,a very nice plant .he says he. Could grow it bllindfolded very easy ,no mold ,takes high feed and can take extreme heat or cold, keep on smoking

Howdy,I'm no expert but consumed 30g a week of mango haze with no anxiety and i suffer from the full spectrum of anxeity.at peace with the world .everything fits into place when I'm mangoed up.keep on smoking.

Hi All,

Dawn definately knows his stuff and worthy of a serious listen - ignore his advice at your risk ... read thru his many posts here and elsewhere and compare to the limited inexpert info posted by those people that disparage his advice.

Be Good, P77

Ive read dawn posts ovet the years and I wasn't critical of him/her I dont do things like that its my experience of mangos.I take all plants the same some are tough to root or accept feeds but I would never question anyone's skill even if they were a begginer ,its jusot all plants are the same to me just differant tactics involved.I'm 50 and been doing this since I was 15 so i ve no need to not listen I ve so much to still to learn from you guys KEEP ON SMOKING,

I too drooled over this auction item. And I've never even had mango haze! Just would love to see SB choices narrowed down. I'm out tho too rich for my blood this close to holidays. Hopefully with as much interest this has drummed up SB will put on the love songs and throw mamma and pappa n the same room for another spin.

 more than 200bucks for a second generation that's non tested (other than germination...waoouuu:D)?

FROM MARIJUANA BOTANY BY RC CLARKE :

A common technique used to deduce the genotype of the parents is the back-cross. This is done by crossing one of the F1 progeny back to one of the true-breeding P1 parents. If the resulting ratio of phenotypes is 1:1 (one heterozygous to one homozygous) it proves that the parents were indeed homozygous dominant WW and homozygous recessive ww.
The 1:1 ratio observed when back-crossing F1 to P1 and the 1:2:1 ratio observed in F1 to F1 crosses are the two basic Mendelian ratios for the inheritance of one character controled by one pair of genes.
The astute breeder uses these ratios to determine the genotype of the parental plants and the relevance of genotype to further breeding.

FROM PRINCIPLES OF PLANT GENETICS AND BREEDING BY GEORGE ACQUAAH :

Testcross

Developed by Mendel, a testcross entails crossing the plant with the dominant allele but unknown genotype with a homozygous recessive individual. If the unknown genotype is PP, crossing it with the genotype pp will produce all Pp offspring. However, if the unknown is Pp then a testcross will produce offspring segregating 50 : 50 for Pp : pp.

PP x pp = 100% Pp

Pp x pp = 50% Pp : 50% pp

Hi Batman,

Good to see those picked up by someone here at MNS and some grow information will be forthcoming. I thought that hamper was one of the better values in the recent auctions, well done.

Bh

hello betterhaff, hell yeah ! the holiday hampers offering are a treat :) if im not mistaken there are four more to come. be prepare fellows ! :D

i really hope to see a higher gene frequencies of mango and/or hazy expressions than in the F1 line. and maybe to deduce some genetic transmission, playing the novice genetic engineer in order to estimate the F1 male value :)
