Just got some spice and shit in the mail today

Greetings all,

Got a nice suprise from my mailman today as my order for some MNS Spice and Shit arrived. I've been a fan of shanti's and neville's work for some time now and havent grown anything from them since the early greenhouse days. After quite a few years of buying my medicine I came to the conclusion that I love growing too much.

I set my 2 new rooms up as follows:

Veg room:
6' wide by 28" deep by 10' tall. 4 80w compacts are used for clones and seedlings, while a 400w MH is used for vegging and mother plants

Flower room:
7'wide by 3.5' deep by 10' tall. 2 1000w HPS lights are used

As you can see I'm cursed with no depth but with plenty of width.

I'm also growing in soil.
I'm thinking of either using a rope system or DWC for flowering (ANY TIPS OR HINTS??)

I was waiting for the MNS but all the travel time took a bit longer than expected and I was able to source some (G13xHP)x(45)....Its a local growers own cross and it is a really awesome strain. I have 20 young plants and 30 seedlings going of that at present with 20 started 4 weeks earlier than the other 30. So the first 20 have a 4 week jump on the other seedlings. They really arent't seedlings anymore they are in young plants at the minute looking very very nice.

So I'm only realistically looking at 25 plants to turn out female. I will pick mother plants after harvest by revegging them and then cloning. I figure I'll pick 3 all together whether I keep all 3 is another story.

The overall yield of the current strain that will affect my decision as to which strain of MNS to start first. If my current strain yields well then I'll go with the Spice, but I'm not expecting an overflowing yeild so I'll probally start the Shit first. But I figure in 4 weeks I'll germ the shit seeds and do the same with them as I'm doing with my current strain. I'll grow them out and flower them while my current strain is revegging and cloning. I'll do the same thing with the spice in 8 weeks.

I'll post a picture diary of my MNS growing in the strainbase section of the forums as this site is really lacking on current picture documented runs with both spice and shit. Unlike many others I will follow thru with this and actually finish the diary, lol.

If anyone can give me any tips or info off the top of your heads with either Spice or Shit I'd glady appreciate it.

I think that these two strains are the most underated in a long time, I cant wait to show the results! I tried Shit a while back and was very happy.

I got them from shanti, and man was that the right way to go. I dont know if I should write this but I ordered 3 packs, and I have 27 Spices (1 order) and 40 Shits(2 orders). Thank you!!!!!:)

I had another thread on another site about how much I respected him for giving 15 seeds in his pack, but he really went above the bar this time!

I like to grow out 20 seeds out at a time, you need to even with awesome genetics like MNS, because to find that diamond in the ruff, you need to go through alot of sand. My current strain is very stable but I'm going out for 50. So all of these seeds will be used, the extra 20 Shit's are going to be gifted, I've had alot of breaks with my current grow and would love to spread the love.

I just really dont trust companies, I'd like to try vu-du. But I'm weary of seedbay and the boutique, I'm no longer a member of icmag because I dont trust the ppl that run their site, they delete posts without notice and are general assholes if you ask me. I'll continue to view, but I'm not going to contribute to a site I dont trust.

This was kind of a test run on a few levels, so I can't wait to put in my next order because its gonna be a monster order! 6 strains!

Shanti usually gives more seeds than you get from a seedbank, plus awesome packs of freebies sometimes.

I've never seen a smoke report on Spice so I think you should do that one next :)

I don't like icmag either. You'd think it was run by the Chinese government the way entire threads just disappear without explanation. It's clear than Gypsy Nirvana cares more about money than people freely exchanging information.

So true, plus on top of his own business intrests I think there are some mods that have something to gain with the sales of expensive butane extraction apparatuses or something because I mearly mentioned, didnt quite get the chance to photo document it because the thread became so hostile. I was mearly showing that you didnt need expensive gasses or webstore bought machines to make oil extractions at the kilo level, I have a really simple machine and it works great, with propane, no problems. But it blew up in a hailstorm of hearsy and outright lies, and when I busted eatch of their lies one by one, my posts would suddenly dissapear. Mind you I didnt start any fight, that the other ppl's posts against me were very offensive, mine were taken down. So I appealed to gypsy and gypsy himself flamed me, then eatch moderator told me one by one, that if I continued to do this I'd get banned. Well guess what I deleted that account. So I dont trust my biggest secret to a bunch of dorks that have nothing better to do than delete posts that make them look stupid, and me them look right.

The only good thing to come about that site is getting in touch with shanti. Period.

I was about to order from the boutique when I read about someone getting a pack of seeds where the OG packinging had a blister for the seeds, well the blister was PUNCTURED with seeds loose in his package. Well c'mon! Thats not right, they have already been suspected of giving out false seeds, to that greedy bastard an OG package is worth far more than the seeds, you can double your money, of course anyone with a braincell would question a broken blister. Well that person wrote gypsy an email, and gypsy told him too bad, he didnt replace anything. So despite an order for ojd's SSSDH, (only because thats the only place i know where to find it), I'll just keep my garden filled with MNS and various clones I pick up.

Though I have yet to purchase seeds online or anywhere yet, I am glad to find that I am at this website for the same reason you are and I find it amusing that this is not uncommon.

Well today's the day I'm popping one of the two. I'm leaning twords shit because there hasnt been a handful of grow reports latly....

BUT I'm gonna try a hand at 12/12 from seed with either of these. In everything I read Spice does look more appropriate for this method...

Oh well it will be a coin toss!

Will start a report as soon as either pops:)
