Emmanuel Macron visits a tiny, very poor village in Lozère and asks the mayor what the three main priorities of the commune are.
The mayor answers:
"First, our hospital. The building is there, but we have no more doctors."
Macron pulls out his phone, makes a call, and announces:
"Done. In two weeks, five doctors will be assigned here."
"Second," the mayor continues, "our roads. They're completely wrecked."
Macron grabs his phone again, talks for a moment, and says:
"Fixed. Construction starts next month."
Then he asks:
"And the third priority?"
The mayor replies:
"Cell phones."
"What's the problem with them?"
"Here... we have no signal."
