Hi PS, very healthy looking plants, , the pots that have the 9 and 10 stickers on them, that is the pot size i will usually use from start to finish, as long as you keep an eye on them as they tend to dry out a little faster they will be fine, how many more weeks in grow do you plan on giving them before you put them into flower??? nice work PS.

Yo T-dub My first exp with those pots were also my first with HID's. I had vegged for ~4 weeks in 6oz cocktail cups under flouros. I transplanted into these (3.4L's) on the flip, and they ended up needing water ~2x's every 3 days for the more 'aggressive' plants (ssh's, 1 MeT, 1 Orange Diesel), and no more than every other day for the other ~15 girls. Honestly, with that kind of root mass on the transplant, I wished that I had 2gal+ pots to flower in. I ended up pulling ~1.5oz/plant for the 'thirsty' plants, and ~1oz on the others.

I have never vegged a plant long enough to see pre-flowers. I'm planning on starting to force ~1/2 of em in a week or so bu giving them 10-12 hrs of light on my deck for a week or 2, then just letting them bask in the sun. Last spring I did the same with some SuperSpices and Aurora B (nl x sk - TFD), and they sexed, then went right into the late spring veg w/o problems. Once the girls show their pubes, I want to strip them for cuts, and get the seedplants out. I want to flower (depends on space, timing, etc...) at least 1 cut of each female inside too.

If #3 is a male, I will be making seeds. That is by far the most sativa expressive (to this point) Shit I've seen. Thin leaved and branchy, but still has a reasonable distance between nodes (so far, lol).

EDIT - #3 is the only one that has been topped so far.

I just fed everybody in bloom boom, and on my way out of the room, I walk right past the Shitlet (shit f2 preggo with the f3 beans), and she smells ... like a Shit. With a AWESOME sweet pine kicker. I have never smelled sweet and pine at the same time, but I have smelled both on the same Shit at different times in flower. I hope she is on her way to extreme pine/funk. She is killer strong smelling, and prolly will finish under 20g total (small). VERY pumped to get the f3 seeds cooked, dried, and poppin.

Very nice work PS, when it comes to topping plants, I just cant help myself, its the way I have my plants, If I was very limited for space, i would maybe try out not topping them for once, doing a big SOG, but because im ok for space, every1 I have gets topped until its a kinda bush, I always get more this way, veg time is not that much longer, maybe about 3-4 weeks from a cut and then into flower, I will take at least 2oz from each 1 bro doing it this way, I got some SSSDH in flower just now along with an ECSD, have never tried any of them but have heard good things, good grows PS.

If the ESCD is the real deal cut (or something close), you are in for a treat in the odor/bag appeal dept I had a cross that was my favorite indica dom smoke yet. The LaConf gave it it's structure and bud density, and the ecsd gave the flavor and fuel I hope that I find something in the crosses I have now that is fuely/skunky/coffee-ey/lemony with a strong, numbing (but not sleepy) high.

I STILL think the ecsd and Spice could be related...

I had a long, neat and tidy post all tyoed up, describing the ecsd buds that I was getting, and how it's one of the few 'named strains' that exists for the northeast US (like 40 million people, lol) unless you are a hippie, grower, or Dominicano. Then I compared them to a cross I had (and loved and lost), of 'the ecsd' cut to an old school affy clone-mothered line (la conf). then I compared theose buds/plants to my purple spice, and said - There's something there...

Yo, no problem, ask me about the first time I had some straight pine needle bud. Hollowed out cig, 1 hit - STOOOOPID. Asleep in ~10 min. First time I smoked some A++ homegrown/first hand shit - ~19 at a party on Long Island (I'm from Jersey, we both have inferiority complexes due to NYC), any who, slick loads up this bongload nice and fat, pretty much plugging the bowl. So I pull and pull to milk up this little bong, and then w/o warning, dood pushes the button for the spring loaded slide/carb. I exploded in smoke, and was tripping for ~6 hours. Couldn;t talk for 3+ hrs, lol. Didn't get any LIA that night... (Long Island Ass)

I took out the 1-4 plants to start sexing on my deck. They will get covered @ 7pm, and be uncovered after sunset. I'll be sliding the others out as they crowd veg. They all look the same cause I topped em the other day. #3 is lookin sort of tobacco mosaic-ey, so I dunno...

Fed em all ~5ml/gallon of age old grow with a lil molasses and LK the other day.

I may have killed off some tomato sprouts that I was starting the other night. Weather here is crazy this time of year. They are talking about JUST above freezing tonite, and 85F+ (~29-30c) both days this weekend. I have brought the weedplants (mostly males, and a few unsexed FreeB's) in ~4 or 5 nights this past month. I would assume that hte Turkish seeds are just 'commercial hashplant'? Sort of the same way that mex seeds are 'commercial sativa'? Goran (fun with steak!) had a few BEAUTIFUL Maka (sp?) Turkey crosses. I THINK he hit some Shit and some Ice Cream (paradise) with em.

I have more room outside than I do in veg, so plants 5 and 6 will be comint out to the deck tonight, and I MAY have all of em out by the hot, sunny weekend I am bieng nice and gentle with the light cycle, too. They were accidentially ~23/1, and I switched em to ~20/4 ~10 days ago, and outside they get 10-12 hrs of light a day. Prolly will keel shading em fotr ~2wks, then just let em get re-adjusted to the Sun for a week or so before the girls go out.

F2 42 days after first flower. Looks/smells EXACTLY like the first plant I ran, the REAL fast cut. Piney skunky bubblegummy. Is the daughter of the tall, hook-leaved (burnt,lol) plant in the beginning of the thread. This f2 is preggo with 4 lower buds of f3 seeds. I'll prolly take the cola another week, and the lowers ~2 more. The plant is very small, but very funky.

Remember the plants as they look...fit in the 3.4 l's...tucked 6 in a bukkit...
I'ma TRY to keep the #'s straight as I ship em out, but these lil things are going to be MONSTERS come Sept 1. I'm hoping to AVERAGE a pound per Shit seedplant. Looking to dig ~3 x 3 x 18" and bury most of the plants... I forgot all about it until I read it in another thread. I remembered planting that E.Durban in a deep, skinny hole, ~2/3+ of the plant buried, with a SHITLOAD of castings. To my knowledge, it was fed 1 bloom booster shot ~Sept 1, and we pulled well over a pound between the 2 harvests ~Sept 25 and ~Oct 5. Biggest plant that I've ever seen/grown. It was just like a dozen 5' long THICK buds...
