HP-13

Nice Post British_Hempire

I will be using the MPK on this grow Here

The MPK should hopefully arrive on Monday so kinda looking forward to trying it out. I am using Chempak #4 at the moment and some #2 when they look a bit N deficient - Hopefully you can give us some help when the time comes if need be :)

Stay Cool..
Doobz

Information is golden brother BH!

Thank you very much for taking the time.

Good luck once again Doobz!

Take care,

Chana

Glad to help guys. I'm enjoying myself online for the first time in a couple of years. I had a load of issues with thcfarmer and icmag and it just became no fun at all to participate in online stuff much because I was getting more flak than thanks and things kept deteriorating into name-calling slanging matches. In 2 weeks back at mr nice I've got my enthusiasm back and enjoying participating once again.

Doobz, I'm off to check out your grow, I'll follow your thread, it sounds interesting and I'm always happy to lend a hand if I can, as the saying goes, knowledge is power and I think there is no nobler act than to empower a person by sharing knowledge, this is a seedy biz full of BS, lies and fraud and I hate that, it's just a weed at the end of the day and I hate how many people and companies try to spread false info just to turn a buck. I love the plant, these shysters I refer to don't love the plant they love the money the plant can make them.

The Chempak nutes are good stuff, I have used them myself many many times, I put myself through university by growing in dwc using chempak powdered nutes and I still use some of their stuff today, the mono PK I have is Chempak, sadly they have been bought out and there won't be any more of the stuff to be found on the shelves before long. The only downside i have found with them is the iron chelator they use is EDTA which is a little bit less effective than the more advanced chelators Vitalink, Canna any others use for iron, but it's a very minor point. If you add some humic/fulvic and seaweed to the Chempak base nute you have a nute regime every bit as good as anything you can get out of an expensive bottle. There is a lot of hype at the mo for these new amino chelated nutes like Dutchmaster Gold and AN Connoisseur, the only difference with these new amino chelated nutes is the chelating agents used for the micros and to be honest, the benefits of this appear to be very minimal, keeping PH in the correct range and using humic/fulvic and molasses for their chelation properties will give you all the performance you could want without spending a ton of money on fancy bottles.

Great thread, read with more interest than ive had in a lot of forums for maybe over 3 years, Like you British Hempire, i have felt disjointed from all of the forums for a long while now, and its good to see you are still around. I have been active over the time of my absence, but havent felt happy to be part of the bickering, name calling and general bull shit that a lot of forums have become so accustomed to. So much info in one thread, i love this place. I feel im home again! Few of things i want to say:

Hash Plants

Havent had any experience of growing this, but about 6-7, maybe even 8 years ago i tried Mr Nice G13 x HP in the Dam, from, if my memory serves correct Bluebird or Blue Velvet (the one a few shops up from Barneys), and can honestly say that this has been the only thing that has ever knocked me on my ass! I literally couldnt walk to the Station the day we were leaving, and had to be propped up by my then girlfriend! 1 gram - 2 joints, a bagel and a cappucino and i was mashed!!!! Village Bagels btw (by Marriott) is the best place for a coffee n a bagel or a cake! Sorry tangent taken!!! Id be interested in getting a cut of this, but seriously doubt it'd be the same thing now - dont think that the coffee shop is the same!! Anyone know the origin of this cut? Doubt its Sensiseed stock!!!

Oceans 12 Haze - one of my fav hazes ive tried, purely because its taste is so much more interesting to the palate than most of the "generic" hazes that people grow or market! For me, most hazes have that typical Mexican Sativa taste, not all, but most. So its interesting to se that this comes from a different haze cross. I know Kiwi/Dampkring sell the seeds - are they worth the pop???

LA Con

I had the pleasure of obtaining some ltd edn (random) seeds from a pal - 5 in total of a LA Con x ECSD cross. I grew these with the intention of selection, observing every trait every step of the way, and writing a diary of my observations almost every day! . Beautiful Indica plant, that, imho has been the smelliest thing ive ever grown - and im talking in veg. I only managed to flower 1, as i gave the 4 best examples (all of which had very little difference between them leading me to believe that i had at the most 3 phenos). He then got busted!!!! Bitch! The one i did manage to flower was the least exciting, not great at all! Would have loved to see what the other 4 would have given.

MPK - i use water soluble ferts in NFT, and this makes sense to me. Im growing an old Jack Herrer cut (over 10 yrs old) thats a 9 weeker to my taste (can go 10-11 if u wanna) that stretch all the way to finish, so cutting out the N would be useful to me.. Is there anywhere in London (north) that i can get this? Not a lover of online shopping!

Been a while so excuse the long post. Its been building up,, and it seems there are the most knowledgeable folk here right now. Nev, Shanti, Brit Hemp, Leet Jesse etc... u know ur shit, more power to you!

Peace n Love peeps!

Herbsman

MPK

I understand the benefit of ditching the N altogether but have a hard time believing they are running hydro with only P and K for four weeks. They don't use any cal/mag or micro's???

AH, I wasn't very clear i think.

What they do is cut down the base nute by 25% in week 8, then another 25% in week 9, another 25% in week 10 and the last 25% in week 11, week 12 just water. This means the micros in the base nutes are slowly trailed off over those four weeks. I'm pretty sure they don't use any additives, just NPK and the 7 key micros in the right proportions.

So their regime from week 7 to harvest would be like this:

................ Base Nutrient ...... PK
. Week 7 .......... 100%
. Week 8 ........... 75% ............ 25%
. Week 9 ........... 50% ............ 50%
Week 10 ........... 25% ............ 75%
Week 11 .............................. 100%
Week 12 ........ Flush with water

Hope that makes sense.

If we assume a base nute with an NPK of 20-10-40 and MPK is 0-50-30 then that regime would give these NPKs:

.Week 7 ... 20-10-40
.Week 8 ... 15-20-37.5
.Week 9 ... 10-30-35
Week 10 .... 5-40-32.5
Week 11 .... 0-50-30
Week 12 .... 0 -0 - 0

Breaking down the NPKs like that allows you to see how the N trails off and the P ramps up while the K stays fairly constant, this is what you want as N will prolong flowering and give leafy buds, P produces more and more buds and the K is needed at a high level for resin production.

Hope this helps, please feel free to ask any more questions or point out any errors I might have made.

Personally, I would add molasses, kelp, humic, fulvic and aminos to that regime. If you look at a typical bottled nute range such as Canna, you would get the same NPKs with the same additives I just listed but they would cost you a load of money. The Canna A+B is the base nute and also has kelp, humic and fulvic, the PK13-14 is the MPK equivalent and Canna Boost contains the aminos, molasses and some other stuff they aren't too clear about telling us about.

I can give you the breakdown of the salts in Canna A+B if you like. PK13-14 contains only two things - mono potassium phosphate and phosphoric acid.

It's Nev's fault guy...

He comes back home and we all have haze on our brains...

Very inspiring time for all of us. I feel the love and energy.

Yosemite Sam and Dirk Diggler are growing some wonderful NH and C5. Here are their grows if you like:

Damn, all this talk of growing Hazes has me wanting to run them myself now. I have some SSH vegging and a couple of them just about to show sex in 12/12 so that will have to do for now. One day I would love to get hold of the A5 and C5, I bet I can pull a half kilo under a 400 with them and there is no finer smoke than those cuts done well.

Nice one Chana, I shall go have a look at those.

Not having much luck with my own Haze hybrids atm. Out of the four SSH I put into flower, one was a runt and has been culled, two were male and the last one hasn't shown sex yet but looks like a male too as it's lanky and has no branching. I have three more in veg that are only a week old though.

thanks bh! makes much more sense now. I actually used to run a similar program using Dutch Master nutes with their bloom booster on indica's.. that is the nice thing about using a base nute plus a PK booster unfortunately not alot of people follow this. Way better nicer cola's and much nicer flush.

Glad to be of help ortega. I blame the nute companies for the lack of people's understanding of the way plants actually need to be fed, they want us to buy a whole host of bottles of various things and are deliberately unclear about what is in the bottles and what the ingredients actually do in terms of real-world results.

My understainding of plant nutrition is far from complete but I know a bit and would hope that by sharing the bits I do know we can get a good debate going where everyone brings a little info to the table so that between us we can develop a greater understanding of this subject.

I'd love to see Nevil's feeding regime(s) for Hazes and other types, I bet he has some great input to share.

Hey BH I really enjoy your posts and lemme tell ya I can totally relate.

I was all but done posting on sites anymore as I've just had my fill with
the lack of quality people these forums..

Stupid, illiterate lil urban punks have overgrown the canna websites....

These dipshits wanna argue about the latest fad shit to bounce around
their block ,,they pay thousands at the hydro store dumping gallons of
unnecessary snake oil in their lil rubber maid tubs ...
Can't construct a ficking thing as they're dumbed down beyond all belief.

Then I found this place....

It feels like the Old CW so I'm pulling up a chair...
I love how Shanti is firm on no modding or censorship!

Fuk me! that's all I've been dealing with at those other shitholes..

Fuck illogic @ the farmer,,,that site is an absolute joke...
well as long as you are selling hacked OG this or Chem that then it's
cool to hang out and mod the forums ,,,making sure the kids buy your shitty beans.

And ICmag and jj scorpio the ass eater ,hangs out at bath houses when he's
not busy modding the forums and banning people he doesn't like,,,

Looks as if I've been locked out at the cabana by accident??
Umm yeah after like 11 months I just get back in because of a diligent gentleman
Yellowjacket,,I owe ya much my friend.

But as it stands some douche over there with admin powers decided to screw
with me and change my password....
so a big fuk you to whomever that may be....

some places you just can't speak your mind...

Hey while we're on the subject of nutrients and hashplants

first I'd like to help save all who read this some serious cash..

STOP buying nutes at the hydro store!
STOP paying for gallons of water with dry nutes you can buy yourself

here's a link....use it you jerkies!

Buy 30 lbs at a time and shelve the shit!
use the 12-31-14 plus and the 17-5-17 plus cal mag special blend

umm 30 lbs for 45 and 37 bucks! do the math people see how long that lasts.
I mix a gallon jug full of concentrate of these and add to my 55 gal drum
as needed for aeroponics,,fully water soluble ,and I run 1 micron filters
and .005" orifice misting nozzles @ 100 psi.....nooo problems...

Great product...

http://www.plantmarvel.com/order.htm

spend the money you now save on Shanti's newest seeds you know you want...

Thank me later!

I'm gonna go indica and hashplant crazy this year,,,got some Sensi hashplant coming,,gonna do Shanti's best Indicas ,,,and gonna get some canna biogen Taskenti coming as well...

I have a killer Hashplant x Blueberry F1 that my bro is cutting down outside as I type this that did massive here in MI well into Oct with no mold..

we have clones rooted of her already.

Gonna do the tree thing with high pressure aero in my greenhouse.

Here's a break down of what they offer...
choose what profile you want...
They deliver fast!!!

great service and people,,,keep places like this in business...
we need them to battle the crooks at the hydro nute companies

you know who I'm talking about

I've had great results with Ionic Bloom alone
or the GH bloom, micro back when I was dumb and wasting $$
this dry nutrient from Nutriculture is just as good or more so far!

a fraction of the cost.....I drain to waste and sleep well at nite knowing
It costs me pennies....

Nutriculture . . . the best choice for Greenhouse crops

Guaranteed trace elements- Every Nutriculture formula comes with a guaranteed analysis of trace elements, insuring that the exact nutrients your crop needs for profitable growth are exactly what it gets. No more no less.
Nutriculture formulas offer a total nutrient feed, with guaranteed amounts of these chelated elements: sulphur, boron, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum, zinc and calcium and magnesium where applicable, as well as the primary N P K requirements. For a complete breakdown of guaranteed analysis, PPM and EC readings on any formula please Contact Us and request a technical data sheet.
Quality thats unsurpassed- Nutriculture formulas promote predictable crop response bag after bag because of stringent quality control of both raw materials and finished product. From total solubility to crop response, growers know what to expect when using Nutriculture, and they count on it.
Choosing a formula- Listed below is a sampling of some of our more popular formulas for use in growing greenhouse crops. In addition we have other formulas that are designed for tackling specific problems such as pH of growing media and water, or an imbalance of minor elements. Knowing what's in your water and growing media is the first step in choosing the right fertilizer. Help is available through your state universities, independent labs or you can Contact Us for a test kit.
The PLUS in each of these formulas indicates that it contains a minor element complex of boron, copper, Iron, manganese, molybdenum, zinc, and sulphur. Many formulas also contain magnesium and calcium. See the application rates Chart for PPMN application through injectors, the Tank Mix Chart for direct application, and the Chart of EC readings for using various formulas. To see the charts, click on the link at the bottom of this page. For more specific and detailed information on any formula Contact Us.

Potash Special 10-20-30 PLUS Ideal for overcoming potash deficiency or for building up hardiness and tough fibrous qualities of stems and leaves. Promotes winter hardiness by helping to build a carbohydrate reserve.
Blooming and Flowering Special 12-31-14 PLUS A great general purpose fertilizer for any blooming, fruiting or flowering plants. Also excellent as a starter fertilizer for seeds and seedlings.
Super Start 12-45-10 PLUS A starter solution which promotes faster root development on seeds and transplants, without burning.
Hi-K Special 13-0-44 PLUS Ideal for overcoming potash deficiency or for building up hardiness and fibrous qualities of stems and leaves.
Plug Special 13-2-13 PLUS with 6% Ca and 3% Mg A plug growing formula with high nitrate nitrogen, calcium, magnesium, and minor elements, most derived from the sulphate form, and all combined into a totally soluble mix.
Cal Mag fertilizer 14-0-14 PLUS with 6% Ca and 3% Mg Excellent plug formula when phosphorous is not needed or is being supplied through acidification. Will promote excellent root development with good healthy chloroplast cell development Note: Slightly basic. Know your waters bicarbonate count before using on plugs.
Hi Cal Special 15-0-15 PLUS With 10.5% Calcium. This formula supplies most of its nitrogen in the nitrate form and is an ideal feed for crops responsive to nitrate nitrogen during low light periods and all ammonium sensitive plants. It is also an ideal source of calcium that is immediately available and ideal for overcoming a calcium deficiency.
Poinsettia Special 15-5-25 PLUS A general purpose feed for poinsettias grown in peat-lite media. It has increased amounts of magnesium, molybdenum and zinc. Promotes excellent color, sturdier stems and improved all-around growth and disease-resistance. Most of the nitrogen is in nitrate form for feeding during low light periods.
Potted Plant Special 17-0-17 PLUS With 4% Calcium and 2% Magnesium. This formula contains Calcium, Magnesium and a very high ratio of nitrogen in nitrate form and has an almost neutral pH, making it ideal as a general purpose feed for Geraniums and neutral pH loving plants that are grown in low light situations. It is effective for growers with alkaline water. Due to an almost neutral potential basidity it can be used more frequently with less effect on the growing medias pH than the 15-0-15 or 15-5-15.
Cal Mag Special 17-5-17 PLUS with 4% Ca and 1% Mg Very close to the perfect fertilizer all in one bag. It contains all the major and minor nutrients including phosphate, calcium and magnesium in a highly soluble form. High Nitrate to ammonia ratio. The ratio of phosphorous to nitrogen is tuned to reduce stretch.
Geranium and Bedding Plant Special 17-17-17 PLUS This formula contains almost half of its nitrogen in nitrate form and has an almost neutral pH, making it ideal as a general purpose feed for Geraniums and neutral pH loving plants that are grown in low light situations. It is effective in controlling the color in Pink Hydrangeas and as an occasional Lily food.
Hi Nitrate Special 20-5-30 PLUS This formula allows plants to establish heavier, thick walled cells. Promotes top growth and extensive root and tuber development.
General Purpose 20-7-20 PLUS High Magnesium This formula supplies over half of its nitrogen in the nitrate form and is an ideal feed for crops responsive to nitrate nitrogen during low light periods. An ideal formulation for growers with a high sodium level in their water. The interjection of a antagonistic ion like magnesium decreases the negative effects caused by sodium. Also an excellent feed for poinsettias because of increased magnesium and moderate potential acidity.
General Purpose 20-10-20 PLUS A general purpose fertilizer where additional amounts of nitrate nitrogen are required. This formula has more of its nitrogen in the nitrate form and assures better nitrogen control when feeding in cool dark months.
General Purpose 20-20-20 PLUS Specially formulated as a general purpose feed for use on ornamental plants, small shrubs, grasses, fruits and vegetables, and other intensely cultivated crops.
Hi Acid 28-8-18 PLUS Excellent for Strawberries, Grapes, Azaleas, Rhododendrons, Camellia, Gardenia, and Bush Fruits: Blueberries, Currants, Gooseberries, Raspberries, etc.

Minor Element Supplements
Available in 5 lb. and 25 lb. bags

Chemec A soluble EDTA chelated minor element complex designed to overcome trace element deficiencies in the soil.
13% Iron Chelate EDTA chelated Iron that can quickly overcome Iron chlorosis. Can be applied as a foliar or a soil drench.
Mag-Iron 6% Fe and 4.5% Mg Usually when there is an Iron deficiency there will also be a Magnesium deficiency. This product will overcome both in an easy to apply solution.
Soltrace Soluble trace elements in sulphate form for easy foliar application. This is the fastest way to overcome a deficiency. Sulpher (S) 14.75% Boron (B) 1.45% Copper (Cu) 3.20% Iron (Fe) 7.50% Manganese (Mn) 8.15% Molybdenum (Mo) 0.046% Zinc (Zn) 4.5%

That's a fantastic post Cabron and I agree with everything you said.

I could talk all day about the crazy stuff that went on when I was associated with thcfarmer but it's in the past and I want to move on.

I got banned from icmag purely because I did some work at thcfarmer for a while. My name is poison with Dutchgrown and Gypsy but I don't care, who needs that site, I miss being able to keep in touch with friends there but life goes on.

The Cabanna has changed a lot, I was one of the first 100 members, all the friends I had from the old freecannabis site were among the very early members and I used to really love it there. Then it started to go south, I got really badly trolled so I asked dman to shitcan my account as I didn't want that forum to be spoilt by such nastiness and bile. I was persuaded to come back by friends as I have a bunch of friends there who I go back years with and have exchanegd a ton of stuff with over the years, I am still there but incognito, lots of folks know who I am but they are all nice and understand why I am incognito, I just want a quiet life and hang with my online friends, check out their grows, share knowledge and just keep in touch and exchange life experiences.

HP x BB sounds killer, hope you enjoy smoking her!

I'm on an indica thing as well, the next things I'll be starting from seed include Dagestani landrace, Egyptian hashplant landrace, Mazar-i-Sharif, and one or two others from commercial sources such as Cannabiogen Sandstorm and Mr Nice Black Widow and Medicine Man.

I reckon you'll enjoy the Tashkenti, the Uzbeki in it is supposed to be absolutely fantastic.

Yeah I still have many friends @ The cabana that I was severed from ,,pisses me off to no end.
But that door is locked to me now,,,and I'm here and happy.
I can be an asshole when it comes to tearing apart BS posts by idiots..
We Both know there's no shortage of them out there,,so the limp wristed
nutless types that populate these boards get their soft skin all rashed up
when I go off on a rant!

Usually sending a truckload of PM's to the pieces of shit modds...

whom are no different than the ass kissing brown nosers who were hall
monitors back in school...

I despise em!

Yano I'm really looking for an honest to goodness Lebanese Hashplant
or any landrace Leb plant that is available as my father's side was from Lebanon and were Olive farmers from the North.

It really saddens me to see the hatred over there and all the violence, although I'm not a softie Liberal or war crazy Republitard,,,I hate
and violence that is unwarranted and fueled by religions...

It's fuckin Crazy!!

That would be like me not befriending somebody because they have Jewish ancestory,,,not gonna happen!
Too much ignorance in this world today,,,,guess that's why it's a dangerous place.?

Wish I could find where my daughter placed the camera,,,
I could get some spectacular shots of that Hashplant x Blueberry
and a Blockhead x C99 gal that I made that is Huge! the blockhead is a cut Krome passed around.

Either way they are both safeguarded as clones ..

Yeah Nev and Shanti need to dig up some beans and get working to offer us a TRUE Hashplant line,,,,,seems the only thing they havn't done yet...

Think Earthy ,sickly sweet fragrances of trichs ,,, low stretch and vigorous as hell...

My bubblebags are beggin for it!

I'm currently doing some work with two HP13 females from seed (most likely from a hermie situation) that I received from Motarebel.
I really hope they live up to the hype.

------------------------------------------

EDITED 9/23/11

Just for clarification, these were not REAL Hp13 Seeds, they were VERY FARM FROM IT. Motarebel made out with a loot in this trade. It's funny how his name comes up twice in this thread, both having to do with swindling.

nice to see ya posting again your a wealth of knowledge

i wont go into the DNA controversy myself because in my two visits to the shop they were both friendly and generous ,but on the subject of haze and incense there knowledge was lacking i told them about nyc haze but they werent familiar ,anyhow i exspected to be enlightened considering they supposedly had the haze bros haze cutting ,but nowadays id bet the bank they could learn somthing from me.

true but sad to say this wasnt even from the GH stock and none of their offering IME have been wat i kno as haze or even high quality .the HPH was the best haze IME ive sampled in adam also the closest in resemblence to the traits of our NYC haze along with the g13haze that won the cup but from wat i understand the g13haze barney won the cup with was a neville haze Xg13,soo being a NH hybrid makes sense

quote from reef

that LA con is one of my favorite CS offerings in the dam,the idea of it being a bubba hybrid i dont believe, but my bubba experience is limited to a hybrid of fugu kush from mota which was grade A and quite reminescent of the kush that circulates NYC

if you recall dusty who is still active at the farm has that affie cut and wen he first posted told them he knew there soucr and shared the story ,so it seems this cali affie exist in the circle which DNA knew.id love to taste her

NEVILLE

i thought soo ,thanks too you for spreading and thanks too those good folks who have preserved

not sure if you answered this already ,id love to know which haze parent was used in the hashplant haze or if you made a cross with both ?

what exactly was the haze parent in the offering in your if i recall 88 seed catalouge g13HZC ?

as its thought and story told is that the g13haze male that everyone is using contains the haze C male

kangativa

anytime brother

gorgeous

she looks old school ghani

these might be the first pics posted of the affie in flower ,if i recall

i understand why you wouldnt leave home without her ,she seems more rare in the community than seeing a bugatti in the street

thanks ya bigherb - the funny thing about those particular pics is that I grew that affie in coffin-like conditions at some sham of a collective here. unfortunately they stole all the bud and used it to make money off of medical patients. Karma got them int he end tho, as it always does. but yeah, she's a magical keeper and always one of my favs, glad I got to show her off again =)

Snowhigh has recently put up pictures of his HP-13 grow (not to be confused with Swampy and NDNGuy's g13/hp which motarebel swindled out of oldhand to make his new line). If you can track them down you can see the beauty that beholds this plant. The cut originated in Maui before making its rounds to New York where it gained its largest amount of fame.

I'll ask snowhigh to chime in on that one Hempy and we;ll find out, I'm sure he knows as the breeder is still around.
