i have been growing for sometime now and had good sucsess, however ive moved to a new location and started again from scratch. im growing pot of gold. the mother went into flower then rejuvenated to be sexed, my first crop failed. the plants failed to stop growing there was no smell and the buds were week. i grow in a large room giving the plants 12 hours light, temps get to about 90. my second crop is now 4 weeks old and again show no signs of slowing down there growth and again no smell except for the stems, only a few of the plants have tiny buds. ive checked that no light gets into the room when lights are out. anyone have any ideas?? is letting the mother go into flower at fault?? please help.

Im confused on what you mean by your mother rejuvenating to sex? If it was already a known female, it had already sexed. Do you mean you revegged her to flower again? And if you're experiencing plants that have no odor, that could be by design or it could be because of stress of some kind. How many watts are you running in comparison to the total square footage you have available in the room? If we had some pictures and more information Im sure we can help suss out your problems mate :)

we didnt no the sex of the origanal ten seeds so we grew them for a month then put them into flower to weed out the males, that left 6 females which we put back into grow for cuttings. i have 30, 600watt ligths for a room which is about 1000sq ft.

Hey Matt:)
I dont think letting the plants flower and then putting them back into veg is the reason for the problems you're experiencing. What method of cultivation are you using? If its hydro, what is your ppm, ec, ph level etc? Do you have effective intake and exhaust? The variety you're using is well known, and I have had the chance to smoke it before and it was fairly high quality herb all things considered. So your variety is good to go, sounds like you have the lights covered and there are no light leaks. So we're getting somewhere, but along ways out from a conclusion still. Some pictures would help tell the tale alot better I would think. Maybe borrow a digital camera and come back?

So veg then flower then veg and then flower, in what time space??!.
six females under 30x600w no light ingress.
And they aint flowering?.
"mm" I wonder why?.

How about giveing them a chance?.

no mate the 6 mothers are in a seprate room under 4, 250watt lights, but yes they went veg for about a month then flower for 2 weeks ( nice sings of female pistles and a good strong smell) then back into veg, then cuttings taken 4 weeks later, the new cuttings went into flower after being in veg for 4 weeks. this was about 3 months ago and now the second lot of cuutings are going the same way, if any of that makes sense????

cant send pics sorry mate but the plants look very healthy, i put 200 plants that ive taken from my mothers, once theyve rooted, into 10lt pots using canna coco as a medium, ec is kept at 18/20 and ph is double checked with each feed, my problem is they wont stop growing, no smell and few buds, i have read that putting a mother from veg to flower then back to veg then the cuttings from it to flower can change the genetics of the plant and mess it up. could this be my problem???

Why do you say that the first crop 'failed'?
Is it possible that you have a stretchy 9/10 wk pheno of the strain you are growing? Stretch through the 4th wk is normal for a 10 weeker.
The low odor may just be the strain, if the plant appears otherwise healthy. I had a plant with next to no odor in the plant or the buds.
90 seems warm, are you sure that the 'canopy' isn't getting heat stress? Too much heat will keep em stretching, AND delay budset.
I dunno about feeding via EC, but if you have a stretchy, sat dom plant, 1.8 seems kinda high. Maybe too much Nitrogen gets them stretching/keeps em from budding??
Are the lights spaced properly?
Do you have air exchange in/out of the room? Fans inside the room?
2.5l coco makes for big plants, maybe shrink the pots??

I am just speculating here. I grow in organic soil/cocomix in much smaller conditions, so... I have not had any issues with re-vegged plants or cuts from those plants. What is POG, sk x affy? Like Critical mass, right?

What is the light setup? (IE:air cooled? 3 rows of 10, 5 rows of 6?)
How big is the actual grow 'footprint'? Plant setup (10 x 20..???)
How much air comes in/out of the room? 3-5k CFM for 1000sqft. (2 10" vortex's w/no filters. w/filters, 2 x 12" or 3-4 x 10")
Can you get the temps down? (air cooled lights/move ballasts..)
Have you run the strain in the past? Was it a similar setup?
