growroom's full of Mango Haze...AGAIN

Yes, my growroom is full of Mango Haze AGAIN (the sativa section, anyway) and I'm loving it.

My girl is joyful and sweet. I'm on the 4th grow with her but still getting to know her. Patience is the key. Joyful.

Some smoking advice....she must be dried thoroughly or she won't work.
She must be cured for at least 8 weeks or you miss out on the real strength.
You can smoke her all day and just keep getting higher.
She never makes you go to bed (well you CAN over-do it... but it's hard...)
Get her right and she is the best daytime smoke out there. I'm an addict through and through.

Is It Like SSH For Daytime Motivation/Inspiration ?

Hi Mangrova :D
How Many Days Does It Take Mango Haze To Finish Flowering ?
I Have A Couple Of Beautiful Pedigrees And Don't Really Know How Far Along They Are .
They Are Starting To Remind Me Of A Past Grow ( Chemo Haze ) Which Took Well Over 100 Days In Flower .
Looks Similar Too
I'm Going To Enclose My Most Up To Date Mango Haze Image And Also A Similar Image Of The Chemo Haze @100 Days.
The Mango Haze Has So Many Bud Sites , And With My Bending I Have Created Many More, So I Expect A Big Yield Off Them , Thats For Sure.
The Chemo Haze Buds Were Fluffier Than I Liked , But Already The Mango Haze Is Starting To Get Frosty .
Hope They Finish Before Summer , But We'll Have To See . I Once Had A Thai Plant Flower In A Corner For 8-9 Months !! (1985)
Worth The Wait Though , Thats For Sure.
I Can't Wait To Try It ; Is It Like Shanti Described It ( A Parralel Strain To Super Silver Haze I Intend To Call Mango - 2001 Mr Nice Intro)
All The Best With Your Grow, Mangrover:D

Looking good there mister J.

What do you think of the stink? Beautiful, huh?

I'll just check the old diary....it says that I put the cut in 8 days before new year and harvested on 4th March. That is 70 days. I reckon you could leave her for another 7, depending on taste and conditions, which makes her exactly 10-11 weeks in the 12/12 room.

Of course that is only half the time...she wants a long long cure and a skilled hand with drying. This marijuana should be smoked only in peak condition. Then, it is just a joy. Superb sativa. Superb taste. Superb, clear, energetic high. I doubt if you will find a better anti-depressant anywhere. This is Groverweed, through and through. I can't wait to try the phenos of Nev's Haze/Mango. Lots of work but it will be just SO worth it.

Hi grover, looking forward to this one.

I'm very tempted to pick up a pack, I already have the NHXMH, I may just get another of those due to the cheaper price but I've not seen many reports on that one and I only read good things about the Mango Haze. Glad you're enjoying her, I need a good anti-depressant lol

Trillion, what are you looking for? A super sativa or a more NL influenced, hypnotic high?

The Mango Haze has phenos in it, only 1 of which is the super sativa that you hear so much about from myself, L33t, etc...the others are more indica influenced...kinda clear but hypnotic

If you want to choose between lots of wonderful, strong, delicate, anti-depressant, long flowering, euphoria inducing, high having sativas then stick with Nev's/Mango. Reason being that you have BOTH haze males in the mix. A & C. You can choose between peppery and sweet flavours (both ends of the Haze spectrum, really) and ALL phenos will be sativa.

Buy another pack of Nev's/Mango and perhaps, if you are still Mango curious, find a cut of the pure Mango to save wading through the indica phenos. I know 'Grover's Cut' is flying around the UK - perhaps you have a friend with a cut who you can tap...?

Take Care

Here a photo of one of a 'Grover's Cut' Mango Haze.

I prefer this way of pruning, you get many top colas, which is important with this pheno of the Mango as the bottom buds are not so good as the tops.

I took a few close-ups to show you that she is already covered in resin (as usual, 2nd week she frosts up...branches, stems, leaves, the lot!) but they didn't come out so good. I'll try again tonight.

The smoke is STRONGLY STRONGINSON, clear, euphoric, beautiful and the best weed I have ever smoked, really.

The taste is of tinned peaches and custard, curing to over-ripe mango. Astounding. This is really all I want to smoke when I have it. Critical Haze, Ash, MasterKaze...they can all wait until I've run out of Mango!

In fact, I liked it so much I am now running a few Neville's Haze/Mango to see what I can find.

Medicinally, she is the best anti-depressant there is. Wonderful happy times. Giggles, laughter, pointless smile. Very little body, almost no fuzz...she can put you to bed eventually...but you need to REALLY go at it (:D)

Wonderweed.Groverbud.Headstash. Call it what you will. It's just great.

Still growing, Battle Stan.,

I'll post a few picks but what I've learnt is that this particular plant likes to be vegged and pruned rather than just thrown straight in. This way she has a bigger stem and larger root system and can support much more bud.

The cuts I put in with zero veg are doing OK but not as well as the vegged and pruned baby. Plus, because she was multi-pruned, she has many tops instead of just one (the tops seem to be the only worthwhile producers with this plant, the bottoms are not worth it..)

I'll post up a pick soon. She has had her final feed and flushing will commence after a blast of HALO.

Yum!

Hi Grover,
I can't wait to sift through a pack or two of these beauties myself.Yours are lovely.I was lucky enough to be gifted the mango haze cut going around my parts a few yrs ago.Unfortunately I was an inexperienced grower then and I overfed her.
Did you save any males :) Thx again for sharing the killer pics..BL
P.S.Is there a thread for this grow somewhere?
