Dr. Purpur you are the Mango Haze expert around here, so I would like for you to expound upon Mango Haze. I have 9 lovely ladies flowering atm, and one more straggler who is semi-flowering. Ive already sampled a very early bud, and I found it quite pleasing even though its at least a month away from being near ready. They are just now finishing up what I suspect is their first bloom cycle, and if they're anything like my Skunk/Haze mom they will soon enter a second one with lots of fresh white pistils. Did you notice multiple bloom periods with this strain?
Unfortunately, I did not get any that smell of Mango
. Ive still got two females that Ive not had a chance to smell while flowering, so maybe Ill get lucky. Did you happen to find one that smelled of Mango? Ive got 4 males I saved, so maybe one of them has the trait Im looking for.
Ive already crossed one male with my Skunkman Skunk/Haze, and I just picked about 8 seeds today. I can't wait to give them ago even though the SkunkHaze mom has a tendency to pass on intersex traits, but she has a bud structure that really lends to yield, and very resinous. (Two of her offspring had 15 gram colas in Dixie Cups. Male father was Shit. The MangoHaze ladies I have are in the same league as my SkunkHaze Mom in terms of trichomes, so I hope the male that I crossed with my mom is just as strong in this trait.
I appear to be rambling at this point? Thats what SkunkHaze makes me do. Im gonna retire her after I harvest the rest of my seeds. Its always sad to see a lady go after having her around for awhile. Im sure Ill find something better in my MangoHaze moms.
I love the smells of the MangoHaze. Unique smells Ive not quite smelled before, although one reminds me of Shit. The Stinky rotten kind of smell you get with Shit. Theres one special lady that sticks out from the rest. She has her own unique smell. Very sweet/candy smell. Its like sticking my nose in a bowl of christmas hard candies and taking a big whiff. She's easily my favorite in terms of smell.
Okay, I think its time to tend to the ladies now.

what are your thoughts on SSH as a breeder, i mean i was gonna write it off consideing i had 3 other hybrids with haze A and C in them? but the more i look into it the more i'm wondering. i just found out that Black Honey Haze and BLZ Bud both have the same SSH in them, both from rezdog, which is 'pre 98 greenhouse seed' (when they had a breeder/parent plants), amsterdamer the breeder of BLZ also acknowledged that were origanly the work of shanti and nevil. anyway two strains with two big desriptions, i guess i was just amazed when i found out they had the same SSH in them.
this was certainly not breed by me and femised of all things, yer i wasted some money on fems before i knew the deal. anyway here is some indoor BLZ it was good it is, G13(unknown souce) x SSH (RDG) x Trainwreak (RDG, indica leaning specimen)
this guy replaced two dud plants before it so it didnt really get to veg.
i did end up with a pack of Black Honey Haze reg as a gamble, could be worth it. MNS and ACE should look after me regardless.

Hi Jonny, I found this to be true as well. But when I ran the clones once or twice then the mango smells really came out. Don't be disappointed yet, try this and see what happens.

I have grown Mango haze since 2002 non stop well before they were even offered for sale i got them as test seed and not all phinos of the mango haze will have a mango smell.
That does not mean the plants not smelling of mango will not smoke amazingly ether if the plant dont have the mango smell the first time you grow it it will not magically smell of mango the 2nd or 3rd time you grow it.
If its going to have the mango smell it will the first time you grow it.

Hi cannabisspfecund. Here is a couple of head shots from the Early Mullum....a potent high with a sweet pine taste....
Re SSH Kanga used a particular SSH female for those crosses that displayed an incredible growth habit that culminated in 2 foot long colas. But the SSH crosses are outside the Grail project (I believe the guys are only using the most potent/pleasing stock for that), and are rather Kanga's recreational efforts.
Regarding the Mango Hz, I did get a Mango smelling pheno last season, and without doubt some of the tastiest and strongest smoke around.

I cant remember exactly what it tastes like. Its hanging now. I had forgotten what the Nevilles Haze tasted like until recently. The flavor of Nevilles is off the hook. I remember that most people prefered the Mango Haze to Nevilles Haze last winter, because the flavor of the Mango was even better then the Nevilles. Surprisingly the Mango finished later then the Nevilles this time.
It seems like the flavor wasnt exactly Mango, it was very close. It was tropical like, and Hazy.
It threw out hairs toward the end, but may have been due to weather changes.

On a serious note but some will really get a kick or blood rising ,we got snow here on saturday .This is the first snow i can recall in october ,the worst fall season we have had in years .
Well talk about growing haze in the snow LMAO,Tom hill haze is still kickin an starting to smell quite hazy .I dont believe i will see her full potential given this nasty season but i await a taste

As for the Elmo cup your better off using a pot and a courser less mess and you wont waste the nutrients your feeding them and better results i would say.
Coop they look resiny but it dont mean it smokes good and the male balls are evident and something that indicated ether poorly grown plants in most cases or stress of sorts.
