Hey everybody, I have been looking for Purple Haze for some time and can't find it. I have a haze male and I have Purple Kush. If you cross the 2 will I get Purple Haze? Is it something that can be made or is it a particular strain? My wife likes it but I can't find it, not that I need to with the Mango Haze but something different is good. I think you can build up a tolerance so switching strains from time to time is good. Please let me know what you guys think as I know there are master growers here and I won't get steered wrong.

To answer your question you Wont find it an it cant be made .That would be a haze hybrid that turns purple that you desire to make .It sounds Great but not the Authentic.I believe that Original Purple haze is Gone ,it might be possible to find if the Originla seed stock could be germinated.

IMO The only seed company to find Purple haze would be Tom hill haze ,but as Dr Purpur suggested the from reports the green phenos have been held in higher esteem .

The True Purple haze AKA rootberr pheon was a phenotype of the santa cruz haze .I Dont believe you will find a true representation of the original Phaze but .I understand that Tom Hill haze can hold the Rootbeer trait aswell as purple % in the seed stock .Soo that IMO is the best place to look .Also ACE seeds has a Phaze mom if i recall but i believe they just sell Purple haze hybrids .

I think Tom Hill said there was some purple phenos in his original Haze. The green Haze is probably better from what I hear. I have some packs of Toms Haze, that I havnt grown out yet. His x18 was good, but I really didnt care for the Deep Chunk. There is still some in my nightstand from 2 years ago

My LA plant purples up nicely. Im waiting to see if it comes through in the LA/Mango Haze, and the LA/ Oaxacan/Durban

Thanks Dr. Purp and thank bigherb, I guess I'll stop looking then. I'm probably going to cross the Purple Kush and Haze anyway and see what happens.

UnLike some others ,I think questions are Great .It shows a thirst for knowledge an passion for the plant .

You can call the Thunk whatever you wish ,Exactly what it is a purple pheno of a haze hybrid .

There is only one purple haze ,she is gone unless its very tightly guarded in cali or elsewhere preserved from the 70's .

Thats a pretty plant Bro. I like it.
I just snapped about 50 pictures of the bigger patch. The Nevilles and Mango are still growing. Mango is about 7.5 feet tall now
