I have no problems with you Hempy. If you see problems persisting between us, then they are in your eyes only. I could have joined up with other people and attacked you in this thread, but I never did because I have no problem with you.
I would like our past to stay in the past if possible. What do you say?

.I think they deserve some attention .IMO from pics posted an info reported the Keyplay stock seem to be more sativa than BSC Cgold .It seems there will be a few reports droppin around new years lol

I appreciate you bringing some calm to my concern ,Im very curious as I didnt get a specific answer when Nevil was here as to the path of taste n aromas .I understand that that Oxacan is fruity an it was somthing he loved .I was just hopin that the ultimate haze hybrid would be in the same fashion as his Legendary NL5Hz you mention above n the Nevilles haze which is my opinion/experience is the closest thing ive tasted to uptowns nyc haze not from uptown .
Now with Kariba surprise ,Nevilles haze ,MM , Cgold all holding this trait i holdvery close to my heart i have very high hopes .But im not sure which path will be chosen

You know, I've been reading through this thread everyday as I am another like everyone else. There's been a bit of shit flyin around on this thread particularly. There's some strong energy shit going on with the planet and on the planet, we get house cleaning to do. Shadow shit. Sometimes it's painful and too much fire comes out of us, things get spoken too soon and then you feel shit with yourself. Your feel your energy drop down. Anger, grief, anger grief and the booby prize guilt. It takes alot of energy that shit, tireing.
I thought something before about Nevil (pleasant regards to you mate if your reading), the good man Nevil created this thread in a certain spirit and with an intention. What is a Grail? Could you say a cup containing some energy? In this case it's plants and plant combinations holding a certain energy. It has a synergy of energy to it. If the current state of this thread is a limb of the grail it's as wobbly as fuck.
With Regard to Nev, he know’s what’s going on and he’s got it goin on. We get another go to be respectful to him. There's a reason he hasn't come back here and I'm not a gambling man but on this one I'd make a bet why he hasn't. I couldn't help but to think this infighting (for want of another word) especially on this thread is disrespectful of him, doesn't take much sensitivity to realise that.. The ball been dropped, time to pick it and smile that we're alive at this most interesting time. Many people turn into hideous creatures with their lust for ego fame money and prestige. I got given some weed today and tonight I smoked a pretty straight joint (added a tiny bit of leaf) before posting this (added a tiny bit of leaf). It had that typical not very special Melbourne smell, it was rough smoking for a bit and I thought too much chlorophyll. A little into the experience my heart started beating faster and harder and some of my body started to shake. I backed off from finishing the joint but as some kind of time has dissapeared I'm gonna go back for a bit more of the waccy weed.

One of the little side projects I had been working on before I got bust was some crosses using a very nice male from a Mexican line to a few females. The Mexican side is a hybrid of a Highland Oaxacan Gold female pollinated by a Highland Oaxacan Gold x Bubblegum male, making it 75% Oaxacan genes.
A male was selected from the HOG x (HOG x BGum) crop and his pollen was applied to some females, one being a Jamaican x (Jamaican x Flo) female.
The Jamaican x (Jamaican x Flo) was selected for Jamaican traits and it's great berry/hash/Turkish Delight taste/smell.
Here is a (Jamaican x (Jamaican x Flo)) x (HOG x (HOG x BGum)) by young_gibby_team, 4 weeks of 12/12, the large leaves with many blades are characteristic of the Mexican mother but the high resin coverage and purple colouring on the leaves is from the Jamaican.
I know some people are interested in Mexicans, the Oaxacan that went into that one is the same one I used in some other crosses, the PurpleMexThai Kanga has being one of them, so I figured you might be interested to see some more hybrids of it.

I darn near lived off of Highland Oaxacan Gold while in college. The son of the Dean had a very large crate of it. It was the Dean's first year at the college and previous to that he had been the head of the department of archeology at either USC or UCLA, it's been to many decades to remember which, and his last dig was in Mexico, in Oaxaca, and his son went with and managed to purchase a very large quantity of Highland Oaxacan Gold and put it in a large crate stenciled with the college name and department. In that era things like that were seldom if ever inspected and it made it over the border without a second glance. My friend kept myself and a few other friends supplied with as much as we would smoke, all for free.

A silly, but funny to me, story that goes with the Highland Oaxacan Gold is connected to how it is pronounced, Wahahkan ... which to stoner college kids was close enough to Mohican that during my senior year on a long holiday weekend when myself and most of my friends stayed at college rather than go home and we partied the whole time and played Hearts until someone reached 1,000 points we finally ran out of Highland Oaxacan Gold.... and we had a little stoner ceremony for 'The Last of the Wahahkan."

hahahaha. yeah the first time i smoked Oaxacan it was called "mohican" as well. it was also greenish, so at the time (late seventies) I was very dubious that it could be any good as the only green weed i'd seen before this was ditch weed i'd harvested in rural Minnesota. I was very wrong LOL. I remember at the time i had a "grass mask" with a bowl that you could stuff about 2 35mm film canisters into. so of course we did....
Soooooo high BTW, just for Bricktop, this was in the courtyard of Baron Von Raske's apartment. Ah the teen years

Ahem, I know who Baron Van Raschke is too, although I preferred guys like Harley Race, Bruiser Brody and Terry Funk...
I was born too late, I would have been in my element in the 70s watching Harley and Funk battle for the NWA title, listening to CCR , Stones and Zeppelin while smoking Mexican and Colombian and Thai...
Sadly by the 80s when I was growing up it had become Hulk Hogan, steroids, sports entertainment, shitty new romantic and electronic pop music and the War on Drugs took the best import away....
I didnt know how to pronounce 'Oaxacan' until I met a Guatemalan toker in Holland who told me. Before that I was pronouncing it 'o-ax-a-can' lol

Just think, if an amateur like me with a 400 in a cupboard can make something nice out of the Oaxacan, imagine what pros like Nev and Kanga could do with a good Oaxacan...

Heres a OG Kush Plant. Its a clone from Honeydew California, in Humboldt. Its a fuckin bitch to grow it. It lags behind the other plants in veg, then when it buds, the branches arent strong enough to support the heavy buds, and they flop all over.
But.... Its some of My favorite smoke on the planet. Its all stash.
Doc, from what you grow that must be some kind herb, my brother!! Big props to ya!!

I used to have a colossal collection of wrestling videos...
Describe the seeds, well, I will have to dig them out of my stash, but from memory they were huge and quite a pale brown with some light striping and pronounced canucles. The Oaxacan seed in pure form is average sized, medium brown with black stripes, the Jamaican seed in pure form was huge and medium brown I seem to recall.
Not sure if the Jamaican is Jamaican or what, it came from rural Jamaica and was what a friend's auntie was growing beside her tin shack for her own consumption, in pure form it's truly stunning, the most resinous plant I've ever seen and very dense in terpenoids too, such a rich, complex taste. However it won't branch unless seriously coerced, has very woody hard to clone stems, stretches a hell of a lot and has a small yield. One of the more potent smokes I've grown, seen it do some damage to a few people.
Ah, this is refreshing, talking about plants for once and no bickering...
