Hy all! I talked to Ed Borg, breeder from Delta9 Labs recently and he said that true kush is sativa, he also gave me some simpson kush seeds which are 90% sativa according to him. So, this is not the first time i'm confused about Kush. The way i make my guess is that Kush is a ganja that originates from Kush region which is quite large and diverse in genetic sense so some "subregions" have more sativa while other have more indica expression. What do you think ?

Sativa hash plants? I doubt it. I like the idea though, but it's not the kush that I've grown. What do the seeds look like?

Small, not micro seeds but small and the color is brown but not too dark. It is supposed to have a short flowering cycle around 60 days.

I think the Headband Im running is SFV, Sour Diesel, and Master Kush. The plants are big. I think You could grow 10 pound plants outdoors of this. Im going to try nin 2011.

The High and THC content, the headrush, These things really stand out too me.
Yes, Ive had people tell me SFV abd Sour Diesel were actually Sativa.

This is my own experience.

"Sativa Hash Plant" is a good description of Headband.

Headband has quite a bit of sativa in her. More than OG.
If you get your hands on some real Headband you kno it.
Straight to the brain at first but the backend is OG Kush.

All the best OG Kushes I've had are definitely hybrids, not
just indica or sativa but definitely both. OGKushes take ur
mind to another planet while they sink your body into the
floor or the bed or the chair or whatever you're in. Selfed
the first OG I got my lil hands on, the 213 OG Kush which
I can no longer find. They ar usually done in 8-10 weeks,
but if u wait the full 10 then they will self. The seeds lean
towards the indica side, bigger than sativa seeds (Afghan
Haze as an example)but smaller than pure indicas. Classic
tiger striping. The buds are form like solid balls. Not colas.
Plants have wide nodal spacing and a distinct odor in veg.
Resin production is above avrage but not insane. The bud
itself is remarkable in flavor & odear. Reminds me of sum
AmnesiaHaze I had in Amsterdam. Highly potent cannabis.

DJS sez it aint a Kush.

Was it the bomb diggity? Did it make you act like a hysterically happy baby when you smoked it?

To the ogkush/headband/sour crowd, these are all cuts of chemdawg bagseed. The clones are in every good weed city in NA right now, it gets best prices on the street and a lot of california seed companies make s1s of them (I just ordered some from reserva privada, og#18 or "king louie the eighteenth"). Its a really good multihybrid bagseed which is a beautiful plant, but I don't think it would be right to use it in the ultimate haze.

Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing strain and its nice to have a popular sat that isn't grapefruit, but it is not nearly hazey enough to be any help with this mission! It would make the end product lean towards the "dreamy" semi-narcotic side of the sativa scale, which I have mostly experience with purple phenos from kcbrains haze.

Good description of the high. Super fast headrush. I sometimes drop to the floor quickly to avoid falling if i black out. It has to be the indoor to have the highest THC. The back end is exactly true OG. both flavor and the super quality relaxed feeling. Not overly couch but feels real good.

What I like most about it, is I can get in and out in minutes. Meaning , I can have a headrush so strong, that I temporarily dont know what I am, let alone who I am. Within minutes I can function just fine, but still have the remaining body rush relaxed type high. All I know is its one of my favorites, and Im keeping it.
 
I guess saying one line does come off rather dickish, but at this point I've already done a whole thread on the existence of Original OG Kush, it's beginnings, etc...

I missed it Bro. Ill have to go look for it. As for Deerpark. I spent many summers in Rio del Mar

LA/ Maple

Heres a tester plant from seed I made last Year. TThe Mother is a superb OG Kush pheno of LA Confidential. Rock Hard lemon hash buds with strong instant headrush. The dad is a Maple Leaf seed that was given to us in Humboldt 4 years ago. It was part of the growers personal collection. We were given approx. 700 seeds. Many were still in original 10 and 15 seed packs. There was also a bulk of Lavender lights and a large bud loaded with Snowbud seed.
The Maple leaf females that we grew ( Aunts of this plant) were awesome in both flavor and high. Again, an instant strong headrush.
I have high hopes for this plant.
