Got Any Haze?

I gave a buddy some haze buds this morning. I told Him His Wife was gonna love them. He said " She isnt going to know about them. Im hiding them , or She will smoke them all" I told him just hide a few and share the rest......

Theres Your Haze. The good stuff. You waited for

What are those seedlings with the massive leaves in the top right? They can't be ganja!

BTW good to see you Dr P :D.

Good to see you too My Friend!
Those are icebox watermelons (red , yellow and peach flesh), and Galia, Earlidew(honeydew), and solid gold melons.

The others besides the Nevils crosses you see, are Our proven Panama x (Orange Crush x SalmonCreek Bigbud) x( old Soma Lavender#10) x LS1 Blue )(The Orange Crush, Lavender, and LS1 are from the old Humboldt seed collection)

Our proven and favored Maui Sativa x(Orange Crush x SalmonCreek Bigbud) x( old Soma Lavender#10) x LS1 Blue )

Our proven and favored LA Confidential x (Orange Crush x SalmonCreek Bigbud) x( old Soma Lavender#10) x LS1 Blue ).

My Son will be starting Our proven and favored Mango Haze x (Orange Crush x SalmonCreek Bigbud) x( old Soma Lavender#10) x LS1 Blue )
and Our proven and favored Nevilles Haze x (Orange Crush x SalmonCreek Bigbud) x( old Soma Lavender#10) x LS1 Blue ).
The females were the best of the best of many. The male was from one of our best crosses ever. It has taken years. This will surely be the best year ever.

Headband

I did also pollenate the Honeydew Headband with Nevilles Haze, Mango Haze, Blue Crush, and a few other males, but the seeds were small, inferior, and appear unviable. The Headband is a 10 1/2 to 12 week plant and is some outrageous weed. I would have loved to have gotten some viable seeds from this one crossed to Haze. This plant doesnt like to make seed. This plant will make the most, and strongest Kief and hash of any of our plants though. When I crush a bud, the Kief just falls everywhere.

Hidden haze landrace

Seeing is believing and it's hard to not want to grow the almost mythical Haze B x Haze C. Like you implied, it appears that we need fresh genetics if we're to find something that will lead us to the "Grail".

So, where haven't Haze genes come from? Mexico, Thailand, Jamaica, and India (please forgive me if I'm missing one or more) all seem to be countries whose landraces have contributed to current Hazes. Surely there must be some place with a landrace that hasn't been found yet or worked enough.

Let's ask (new member) Manek. He's from Bangladesh, a country that is known for diversity of landraces.
Bangladesh and Sri-lanka seem under-represented as important sources of "missing link" landraces.

I have never come across strains local to these 2 countries, seems odd.

hey champ ive also been thinking about sri-lanka. think there has been a bit of civil war over there. should be a nicer place to visit now though.

hey doc, good to see u back managed to make a few golden tiger f2's n crosses hopin for the goods.

cheers

Sri-lanka

Cheers bro,
Down in Oz, where I live anyway, there are now lots of sri-lankan folk living.
I went and saw their cricket team play against India this summer, and on the way walking there, I noticed (quite a few) little posses of sri lankan dudes smoking it up..
Got me thinking....I guess I'll just ask next time.

Bangladesh

The story I heard about Bangladesh (about 20 years ago) has always bugged me, I would love to know the whole story.
Anyhow, the story goes- Bangladesh being entirely on a flood plain or delta had 10 of 1000's of acres of native, wild cannabis that essentially took the place of traditional timbers, and other crops (fibers, oils, etc,) that were impossible to manage in a constantly wet and flooding environment.

Bang- meaning cannabis?
La desh- Land of?

Secondarily important was the cannabis forest's capacity to hold vast volumes of shifting soils against the action of flooding. Thus negating degradation and loss of soil (and slowing erosion).
So this was the natural, self managing system until in the 1950's when the U.N. intervened with a plan to eradicate the 'evil weed' and replace it with mono-culture style agriculture.
The rest we do know about; Famine, starvation, disease, "natural" disasters every wet season.
It could have been all avoided!

Whoooot
Did your ancient Mullimbimby madness seeds from Wally duck germ????

I believe my new NH x MM are related, in a round about way. This is going to be a DYNAMITE grow year. We are getting ready to start another round of crosses. 72 plus.
Over the years I aquired so many so-so quality seeds from seed companies and a few top notch. The seeds I got from Mr. Nice were very good. The seeds and clones I got from Humboldt were top notch. I expect that this years grow will be some of Californias best. People around here have started an Urban Legend about the Mango Haze/ LA confidential cross.( We did some indoor plants from last years crosses) The buds were unreal in quality.Any seed company would be proud to carry them. The LOGO was, "these buds will mangle Yuh", And it was no bullshit. The flavor........ The High...... Haze flavors and Haze High with a Kush after kick. Smooth, Sweet, exotic, long lasting, totally different, Expanding.
I trust You are all doing well. Take care My Friends
