yes Shanti worked on Mullum Madness during late 70s-early 80s
BTW it would be nice if mns released some pure sativa genetics for hardcore growers , in search of pure sat strains ,with patience and good outdoor location
Here is a list of most strains Shanti has worked with:

I ve also heard from BOG (BushyOlderGrower) that when he visited Shanti's greenhouses in Swiss , Shanti had a very nice strain called 'Ultimate Indica' and a strain called 'Orange Bud' ,a very high yielding plant similar to CM in production.I dont know if some of these strains have actually been rejected or just their production is being put on hold for practical reasons , only shanti can give some more info here

One more minsinformative post from Arjan..As far as I am concerned I am pretty sure this PP1 is one more 'stolen' pseudo-strain releshed from GH co ..
I recently read from Rezdog that Franco,Arjans partner, bought 15,000$ (!) of worth seeds from Rezdog's strains thru an online auction..within only a single week (!)..guess what for..

If ya want to try something like Mullem Madness,try out the Nevilles Haze Mango cross! But be prepared to look through the beans! I grew one under a 400 watter,in a small cab.It was the most indica of 10 plants.
6 months of flower time,and one pound later,really,the old style sativa high,just makes ya feel good,like a stress free holiday,great for anxiety,
depression and the like,but,just a bit too weak,for my THC filled heart.
In my opinion,Afghan/Skunk cross,has the same sativaery high,with the more stoney,relaxing,meditative type of body twist,as well.More satisfying,for that true,HIGHFLYER!!!
Also,take note of what Shanti says about the Skunk crosses"finish between 6-7 weeks"!!!
Very different to what I see people growing!More like 9 to 12 weeks,and more like Skunk/Haze crosses,than modern Skunk crosses!!!
I guess it makes it hard for peeps to steal the genetics,and sell them themselves,if the true genetics are mixed into an extremely large gene pool,such as old mother sativa!!!

I found this interesting post from shanti, its around 4-6 months old , about some old strains that are going to be reproduced again if all goes well.

Are you serious or was that a typo error?
Not even a pure sativa doesn't take as long...There are some 24 weeker sativas but the Nevilles Haze takes 14-20max weeks to finish and NevillesxMango is not even as slow as the Nevilles..NevillesHaze x Mango is more indica dominant and faster ..more of a 11-16weeker max..I ve read a few reports and most people say 10-15weeks.Plus you talk about your most indica dominant pheno here..which makes wonder even more..If the most indica dominat plant takes 6 months then the sativa would take a year..
If someone wants something close to MM ,which is a pure Sativa, better try the NevillesHaze as it is closer to MM according to shanti , NH is 75% Sativa.
Neville'sHazexMango is the next option but its more indica dominant than NHaze and less powerful and trippy from what I ve been told from people that have grown both ..but its faster and more practical for indoors.

Hi All
just going thorugh a few posts and threads that catch my eye initially...saw this one so thought to make a little comment
There are alot of things that get sent to me and alot of personal projects of individuals who have been inbreeding lines for years.It of course is all interesting at the beginning but out of 100 seed lines tried from this source it has been literally a handful that caught my attention. Considering it takes alot of time to get to this stage alot of these plants are eliminated from my veg room...
If I select to work with a land race from a particular country, like Laos for example...there maybe nothing worth keeping initially, which is actually what happened to me.So as time permits and space, you put out another batch hoping things will change, and they sometimes do. In the 90s I did work and spend alot of time on a Laotian seed...but I never found anything special or worthwhile so I kept the work up till then, in seed form and eliminated the plants from my grow room and library.
The general rule in breeding is to test the progeny and see how it comes up...most people are happy to have made a batch of seed, but the hardest work is in the selection process...this is where I kill alot of plants without doubts.
