So for anyone that is looking for that garlic/ onion smell, definitely should check out the medman x zunami cross. Need to do an update on my previous run post, but the smells after a few weeks of curing changed massively. One of the phenos got to the point of where it really smelt like you were smelling a Sunday roast with sage and onion stuffing coming through, definitely an unusual one I haven't experienced before.

I'll have to keep an eye out on auctions for the medman x zunami. Most od my 5Hz Zunamis had that type of aroma for about a week in flower. It would be fun to compare .

That oniony/garlic smell in the medman is apparently the more potent phenotypes I’m pretty sure I read shanti saying that on the forum somewhere.

I didn't exsperience the onion/garlic in my MedMan. I often wonder how much growing under LED instead of HPS or outdoors, affects the phenotypic representation of my plants. I've read of people complaining that they got small yields with normal sized colas when growing Critical mass under an LED, while the same clones gave massive donkey dick sized colas under an HPS. Perhaps LED's have a major impact on terp profiles.

what a shame to be honest man, I have just got rid of my mm x zunami as I need to reduce plant numbers, but I am finding that my smoke is extremely potent under led, but there is just something missing that I cannot put my finger on. This run I have opted completly for a HPS and hydro run, so I will report back with the results, but so far the plants are bouncing back extremely fast from any topping/ supercropping, its insanity.

Edit: the shame is I could have compared both runs, one under HPS one under LED.

Very interesting fish, that was the only reason I was going to keep that cut- it was so extremely strong. I was using the volcano for it and 2-3 bags in you would be spasticatedly high. There was several times that I was trying to listen to a podcast or youtube video and had to give up as I couldnt understand what they were saying, and English is my mother tongue

I got a nice selection of onion aroma/taste from Black Widow.
It's probably a #'s game. The more seeds you can run the better the selection.
Critical Skunk under my LED's produced huge cola's, as do many MNS seeds.
Time to veg + strong LED's produce the goods.
IMO...

I'm sure that quality and type of led, play a huge role. I've noticed a significant difference, since switching from a quantum vivosun board to a bar style Spider Farmer led.
