First dance with Mango

Had you just watered before taking that picture? Your soil looks overly saturated for a seedling. Anytime I've had soil like that the plants either stall, or dampened off.
Sorry to hear about the low numbers.
Yeah, watered last night. Only the second watering since planting, and it's on a heatmat, so not overwatered IMO. I think it has more correlation to the lack of germination, than water amount, but who knows

The healthy 3 look like this

I once spent a few hundred on multiple packs of Cali Con gear. Basically ate hardboiled eggs and ramen for more than a few months, to scrape up the money. Only two beans made it.... so sad. 🤣 one had decent smoke and flavor.

I'd bet my last straw, that your few plants turn out better than my two.

Man that's rough.

Yeah this isn't the first pack or two I've had bad luck with, and I'm sure it won't be the last. I guess this is one way to sort the "more beans than time" problem I got into

An issue which I never exsperienced before visiting the auctions

Yeah, my MNS collection is stout. Some spring cleaning packs, one of those holiday "everything" bundles, and some random auctions along the way

MNS is the second most prolific breeder in my collection. Lol. The most is Bodhi. But I've got gear from a couple dozen Breeders probably, in total

I have yet to see a Spring Cleaning. I really, really, REALLY....want to bid on a spring cleaning. I'm realistically not able to run any spring cleanings for a few years, but don't want to miss out. This is what freezers are for!!!

I think I got SC of LA Nina, Nevs Mango, Ortega, and G13 Widow. I got pretty lucky lol

I guess I should note, the lone mango haze Inbred female will be added to the tent in a couple of weeks. Haven't cut her yet.

I do have a MHI male that's managed to separate himself. Covered in non-glandular trichomes to the point he appears to have a Hazy Aura about him. Obviously they're non-glandular, so take it with a grain of salt, but thickest coat I've seen on a stem on a veg plant

End of week 1 update for the Mango Haze

#2 is slow to take off. The mom has also been the least vigorous of the 3, but stabilized after some time, so hoping the cut does the same.

Number 1 and 3 though, are doing spectacularly. Both have slightly more than doubled in size, and are trying to impress

Here's 1

And #3

They look great Amoril, I see you also got more thin leaved expressions.
Very promising already. (y) :)
Do they smell on the sweeter side when rubbing their stem?

Nice to see the members here grow more of the MNS hazes!
Of the 3 Mango ladies I have, 2 are very similar and very narrow leaved and tall. One is more stout, half the size of her sisters (#2 is the shorty)

In this group shot, the Mango Haze are the three lowest plants on the far left row (everything else is the SHAH from my other journal)

Here is Mango #1, front plant in this tray

And Mango 3, with a partial shot of #2 to her right

But yes @Swifty , no shortage of the thin leaves here

Mango has been interesting. Had 2 phenos stretch a bunch, one that didnt. 2 phenos that will certainly go 11+ weeks, and one that won't. The "one" in each group is not the same

Mango 1 is the tallest of the group, stretching 5x-6x from flip. Not huge buds, but great gland coverage. At day 52ish now and still has a ways to go

Mango 2. Shes the shorty. Maybe 2.5x-3x stretch. But at day 52, hardly a turned pistil to be found. Nowhere near done. And likely the largest yield despite being the shortest. Its pictured here with mango 3, then a close up on 2

Mango 3 hit a little over 4x stretch, but has tiny buds, and might not make it to 70 days. I'm not in this for yield or long flowering times (directly), so she still has a chance. Heres a close up of her tiny buds

And, not to be forgotten, Mango Haze Inbred at 18ish days. Over 4x stretch so far and might not be done yet
