Yeah, they aren't big yielders (at least not this run, I'm sure I can veg a little and get more yield), but they look tasty as hell.Oh mango 3 is for sure nicebut 1 also

Well, day 56, and Mango Haze 3 is done
I'm no expert on mango's trait inheritance, but I got 3 distinctly different phenos. Mango 1 is tall and smells peppery, small buds but moderate terminal bud. Mango 2 is short, but stacks buds like an Afghan almost, smells like sugary piss, and might be the longest flower time of the three. And mango 3 is lanky and tall, small buds like 1, no good terminal bud development though.... but has large trichomes and a dead on mango fruit smell. And is legitimately done in 56 days. Maybe with some proper veg the yield is more reasonable? If she smokes good, we might find out!

Mango Haze 1 - 82 days
Had to tie up an additional stake to the lower stake to follow the height of this lady, she was getting top heavy and bending more than I wanted. Smells very much like a mango / orange, or between those two somewhere. I imagine she also goes 90-95 days. Another one I'm extremely pumped to try
This is her next to Mango Haze Inbred. They seem very similar, but MHI looks like she will have larger / chunkier buds
Heres Mango Inbred closer up, shes only at day 48, but looks extremely promising

Thanks bro. It's early, but my gut says MH1 and MHInbred both have potential to be quite nice
Mango 2 is interesting. I'll grab pics of her next time I'm in there. Not stretchy at all, but a solid 16 inches of bud. Getting close, not quite done, at 83 days or whatever
Mango 3 has been removed from the program. Smoke had an alright buzz, but the taste is way off from what I wanted. Reminds me of purple indicas, that red wine taste.... but no visible anthocyanins. Stems were kinda dark, so maybe that's it? Anyhow, I'm setting a high bar for keepers, and #3 wasn't up to it

Following the MH IBL grows is good education for what to look for in the standard MH line.

Yeah I think its cool to run the IBL alongside mango retail, even with poor germ rates. Finding a similar pheno in both is great, and gives me an idea of what to look for if I go to f2s or further

I said earlier I'd grab pics of Mango Haze 2, so heres a few @ 91 days in bloom
Shes an oddball pheno. Barely 3x stretch from clone straight into bloom. But it's an 18 inch donkey dick of bud (that's what she said). Not a strong smell, but has a light note of spices. No idea what 'line' this expression is from.... NL5?

She reminds me a bit of a MH (#11) I saw, this one had a very pleasant quality high.
Let them cure a bit before giving your final verdict!

Mango Haze 1 - 98 days - Chopped
That's 14 weeks on the dot, and shes done! Given how much of a knockout she is, and that the mango inbred lady looks like a dead ringer for her... I'm hard pressed to think this isnt close to the target. Smells very much like a mango, maybe with a little pepper mixed in. Csnt wait to sample it!
