First contact with the "Lady of Origins"

Hello, Servus, Ola, Moin Moin, Hi Bro or something you like, welcome!

And I tryed it again in the summer in my roof chamber...
Novice and still weak resisstence!
I sow the classic !
NL 5 x Haze !
I sunk five of the big five Haze seeds to finaly get it for sure!
I dont know if i ever smoked the real one. At some time ago every thing around the streets was "Haze" "real Haze bro!" Like it was Cronic, before, and the Widow and AK47.
But some times there was a "Haze" or so in between, a real Pearl!
So this is to veriefy it for my mind how the real stuff is like to be !

A small first contact, with 5 seeds seems right.
This is a short owerview ( for now, maybee I will ecxtend this to a documentation)
Atleast it will ad some actual
Novice vs. Legend of Origin-
impression to the table of the strain.

Five get in the ground and five get to show sex . Top!

They went in a 1mx1m tent with a 480 W Kingbrigt LED-Lamp.

Then they hit the grow Button and the elevator takes them up! Strech ongoing untill now.
This must be some realy long flowering ones compared to
thePanama x Haze C, that finaly slow down streching and start forming buds but the NL5HAZE dont think of such!
We will see what I get and how much i must bend over or cut out.
First days of life spend in my bong-cubboard, hot + dry+ lassy and not the best i can do...but it worked so far!

Nothing in between slow and steady growing. Potted in 10x10cm potts light mix for 3 weeks or so, toped after the 5th node and repotted then in the 40cm balkony- floweringtray for a week and then go for 12/12.

We get 2 girls and 3 boys! No.4 left some pollen for the freezer and No.1 and 3 get new shooes, fency green 30x30x30 cm .
Substrat:
Clay/lava-granulat, plagron bat mix, cocos, white ash from the fire place, dolomite-chalk, dryed chicken shit, Neudorf Azet fert.(NPK/7-3-10)mostly to add some benefitical fungi and backteria.

Hello everyone !
I get some "buds" finaly!
First i think the plants are back in vegi-state by moving from the 12/12 tent at Mum's home to my 11,30/12,30 tent, the repotting, and a user- error, three days later with a weekend with lights always on. (Also no Phantom-lightning, when turned off)
But now i think its all okay, must be the genetics.
now 6 weeks in bloom, light-time is reduced down to 10:40/13,20 over the time and I think on holding this split a few weeks to reduce to 10/14 finaly. Maybee in another 6 weeks.
In round about 2 weeks i will feed them with a hand full of ash mixed with some outgased Cola.
Phosphoric acid, pott-ash-ium

(potassium) and some other hydroxides and sugar for the micro live.
Maybee i ad some acetic-acid the waterings after, to get more from the P + K down in the ground, if nesscesary.
Grandfather's old trick!
Worked well on my first try with cannabis to.
I tryed it on a slowly-to early yellowing long flowering plant, in around week 10 to get her green again and get her to some nice flowers at 17 weeks. Mostly in the same soil mix and pott size.
The rest time water only.
This, or that amount of nitrogen in my soil maybee add some flowering time.
I dont know for sure. Not expirienced enough as a grower. I will find it out some day.
The temperatur is between 24-28 °C with some peak temperatur at 34-38 ° in the last week of june with up to 40°C outside. The plants like it but i can not stand 34° inside. Spend the days outside at the river or forest and the night by my Mom's house in the cooler hills.
Some other 9stats:
Tent is 1m x1m x 2m.
Sun is a Kingbrite P 55, 6 rotateable LED bars with Samsung H 301evo, 3k+5k + mintwhite, LG- UV + IR. I used the UV IR loosly untill now. 2 days on 2 days of, not the best to trying it out but the plants looking okay so far.
10,40 on, 13,20 off cycle.
The humidiy level ranges between waterings, 50-85 %.
I water them at the weekend or if leafes hanging in between, multiple steps till drain.
Last time every plant get~10 ltr Water.
The potts are made of sack-cloth or something like that, alot of the water vaporise through.
For the air-exchange work a Vivosun AeroZesh T 6, 693 m³/ h on 40% power.
And for the wind inside: 11 PC- Fans 120mm
connect to an cut-of old Nokia 12 V charger.

Hello 5Haze Fans!
Its running.
Now 2 month of 12/12 and lower light.
I take some lower leafes and twigs out, streched out + bend some tops and watert a day to late.(~35 ltr later per 3 plants with litle drain)
Strech finaly end(plants toped after 5 nodes, from~20 cm to ~1,2m), buds are forming.
6 - 8 weeks to go i think.

Hello Haze Fans!

11 weeks after the flip

Summer time problems!

After the dryed out substrat,
humidity drop down,
30°C + more outdoor the last weeks,
my surface plants (Trifolium pratense, Sinapis alba) died of by this
and the lower light amount caused by the leaf-Baldachin.
The plants dont care,
but my predator-mites lost pars of their habitat and after i take out some lower leafes to, it start to go down and
the thripse take over the ground.

New predator-mites + sf-nermathodes added + day in between the week for extra watering spared. Now 15 ltr per plant/ week.

I hope its enough to support the Ladys through the last weeks, maybee I spray a water,soap, alcohol mix at the weekend to.
I dont know for sure but the plants look okay besides the spotted leafes.
The aroma of weed get stronger, spicy oriental-sandal-wood. Followed by church like smells and a litle ahm....? bergamotte?, i think. (4711- ode colonge) from all plants.
Also a small hint of citrus at NL5HAZE lll,
and a special scent at the Panama x Haze C, that i would identify as Panama specific, like spicy leather and floral tones, but cant discribe it better. Had 4 ACE-Panama last year with the same smell also 2 Panama Haze crosses.
Atleast it is going in a loveley direktion.

Skilled players be strong,

she looks like the 1st who will finish in 3 or 4 weeks.
The 5Haze need minimum 4 more weeks, so i think.

The light is now dimmed down to 10/14 h and 60% power(480w led lamp), ~30 cm between plants and light .

I hope to get them to a nice finish.

Hello Haze Fans!

Finaly, Update time!

The plants startet to look ugly, i experiment with my uv/ir LEDs ,18 led each on the square meter light, 2 weeks on and i grilled the plants at the top a bit.

Panama x Haze C left the party after ~125 days of 12/12. ( breeder info: 14-15 weeks)

First NL5HAZE l, buds cut at ~130 days.
Smells like incense with a hint of oranges and spices.

I moved the plants a bit and NL5HAZE l
Is falling apart without the help from the others.
Some lower branches are allmost ready but she definitivly wants to reach the "sun" with her head at least once. Done!
she is still growing!
Lights dimmed down to 40% power, 10/14 .

NL5HAZE lll need even more flowertime.
Smells like incense and "rubber/latex-gloves"

Im not worthy for the Lady of origins right now.
A new try with her in the future will follow to get more of her potential.
But I know i get many nice flowers from her!
Uplifting, clear head high, so far.
