That's a pretty ironic post coming from you Jesse, when you post with different tags on different sites all the time, mostly with the objective of stirring shit up, or investigative journalism as you like to call it,FOX news style.

Get a girlfriend or something because as resinfinger already said, you got too much time on your hands, although I do get a laugh from your posts these days and they used to just annoy me:D

Peace GG:)

WE WANT ExE,,,,,,,,,WE WANT ExE,,,,,WE WANT ExE!!!!!!!!

Hyb bro,,,you gota be lauging at this if your out there,,,,:):):)

guys,,,,what do you think is gona happen to your "highly evolved" secies when you runout of genetic divercity????????

rick wtf mate are you dereius neville alone has asked a few questions and no one has answeard him in this post all i am seeing is people for what ever reson takeing this post off topic.

I have chated to ex many times over at pg why dont you since you post so much on this topic over at icmag and im sure other sites explane to me why such a loss of vigor has acured in the first generation you cant can you or tell me why sexual repruductions better than asexual reprudution..

Why not try and answear a few of nevilles question even if its wrong we all stan to gain from it in the long run.

Some of you guys act like you have all the answears well you dont and even science does not understand the complexity of sexual reprudution in species so how do some of you that are acting like you have all the answears.

WTF is going on here??? I envision a team of assholes sitting in their room getting paid to de-semen-ate a bunch of horse and bull shit to rip our plant apart from its core.

Think they call it evolution mate you know a theroy but not a fact lol ;)

haven't you been reading my posts hempy? i thought i'd responded to most/all of nevil's questions?

the reason loss of vigour is would be occurring in the first generation is because when you self a plant, it allows single mutant alleles the plant has in its genome (eg. A-a - little "a" being the mutant recessive allele) to double up (ie. egg has allele "a", and pollen grain has allele "a", and they combine in fertilization to produce a seed with a-a - two of the "a" mutant recessive alleles, so as the plant only has the mutant alleles, they are expressed as loss of vigour). if you crossed this mother to anything else, chances are it doesn't have the little "a" mutant recessive allele, so even if a seed gets the one "a" from mum, it won't get another one from the dad and thus won't express the mutant recessive trait.

however, if you create F1s with whatever male and this mum with the "a" allele, then create F2s with those F1s as parents, you can then get seeds in the F2s which will have 2 x "a" (aa) and they will also show the same loss of vigour as your S1 seeds would.

though this only occurs when you decide to self pollinate a single plant (not cross pollinate two separate plants), both of these techniques produce fem seeds, but only one produces more inbred seed that will have your loss in vigour. and self pollinating or "creating S1s" is still sexual reproduction mate. sexual reproduction is where gametes are formed and recombination of chromosomes can occur (whether on the both male and female gametes come from the same parent) and then these gametes fertilize one another. asexual reproduction is whereby gametes aren't formed in reproduction, ie cloning. consider your questions answered my friend.

Think they call it evolution mate you know a theroy but not a fact lol ;)

again, misinformation and misinterpretation, you're confusing your definitions of the word "theory". you're just playing on two meanings of the word "theory". In science, a theory is a well-tested explanation for observed FACTS (ie, theory of gravity, theory of electricity, theory of germs, theory of relativity...), backed by substantial scientific evidence. Evolution is such a theory. In common conversation, however, "theory" suggests little more than a guess. evolution is more than just a "hunch" or a "guess".... maybe you should read richard dawkins' - the greatest show on earth, the evidence for evolution. or simply youtube "evolution is only a theory" and you'll see how misinformed you are sir. i'm sorry to disappoint you but evolution is FACT my friends. even without the fossil record to back up evolution as a theory, there've been countless genetic studies on 1000s upon 1000s of organisms which back up evolution 100%, there is yet to be found a single piece of evidence to suggest it is incorrect in the slightest, creationists have been trying since the day darwin released his book lol i think if they could've they would've proved him wrong by now.

Chemicals

Hi! Hempy I really like that picture with the chromosomes. Darwin, I know that chemicals are dangerous, and every day is a safety lesson using them. This will be the last time I make a comment on this subject matter, as it really seams to cause much debate, and I don't like to argue. Due to the fact that the chemicals used can have an affect on dividing cells of other organisms as well, the safe use of chemicals is vital. Because of this, it is essential that this procedure takes place in a well equipped laboratory where the chemicals can be used safely. This spliting of the chromosome is no easy task, and the cell division involves various phases as explained earlier in this thread. Let me eplain it another way? In the first phase, the number of chromosomes per cell is doubled, following which the chromosomes are divieded between the two cell halves. These are then essentially separated by a new cell wall. By means of treating the deviding cells with specific chemicals, the chromosomes will be prevented from dividing over the two halves and there will be no formation of a new wall. As a result the regeneration can be achived by removing the chemical thus creating a new plant in which every cell contains twice the number of chromosomes. I don't know how to explain this any clearer, but realize this topic of conversation is to confusing for most, and I will not contribute to this thread anymore. Just plant the best seed and get on with it! thats all for now. See you this Fall. resinbud,;)

hiya rick well it was a while ago now i chated to a few people from og / cw / pg days like tom chim ex and many many more the days were people with diffrent vues and opnions would chat discus things and odly not post hate and agro tawards each other they were the good old days as i call them the days were i was still an inosent and some what nieve hempy walking threw the world of the online canna camunity then well i got beatin up lied to saw mugings robbings and all the ugly side of most realitys it changed and molded me into the bad spelling cearing person posting to you here okay bad spelling was always there.

What useing a male in breeding sexualy and not Asexualy breeding belifs you meaning ?.

Rick i will let you in on a secret most people older than say 35 to 40 have breed becouse we did not have seed stores we made seed if we wonted to re grow a given line.

Now it dont take a scientist or a botanic or genetic expert to know that if a given line is something you love to smoke its worthy of useing to re make seed to keep it around and it realy very simple to do you get a female healthy female and you then you get a healthy male from the species and polinate the female you then as the plant matures seed for next years grow and grows down the road as long as the seed remains viuble not hard at all is it realy.

Remember rick god made adam and eve to breed go on with.

Not creat adam and steve to breed with and go on with.

Lets get to know ow friend Mr- Y
;)

The ability to identify male-specific DNA renders polymorphic Y-chromosomal sequences an invaluable addition to the standard panel of autosomal loci used in forensic genetics. Y-STR haplotyping is particularly important for sensitive typing of male DNA in mixed stains as well as for rapid assortment of biological crime scene evidence. Moreover, Y chromosomal profiling can trace back paternal lineages into the past and has thus been proven a useful tool in genealogical and kinship testing. The individuality of the male-specific part of the Y chromosome can be optimally explored by the Y-STR haplotype analysis using a set of highly variable short tandem repeat markers approved by the forensic and scientific community. An extremely informative Y-STR core set or minimal haplotype (minHt) amplifiable in a multiplex reaction has been recommended for court use

The Y chromosome spans about 58 million building blocks of DNA (base pairs) and represents almost 2 percent of the total DNA in cells.

The Y chromosome is present in males, who have one X and one Y chromosome, while females have two X chromosomes.

Many genes are unique to the Y chromosome, but genes in areas known as pseudoautosomal regions are present on both sex chromosomes. As a result, men and women each have two functional copies of these genes. Many genes in the pseudoautosomal regions are essential for normal development.

So I think that the simplified answer is that the Y chromosome is
full of overzealous and intolerant DNA repair genes. The genes on the
Y chromosome will delete mutations at the drop of a hat. That is what
has shortened the Y chromosome.
The X chromosome has fewer DNA repair
chromosomes, and these are mostly tolerant of change in other genes.
Mutated genes have a much better chance of not being deleted. That is
why the X chromosome to some extent stays the same length.

The Y chromosome is present in males, who have one X and one Y chromosome, while females have two X chromosomes.

Sorry mate to say, but some females has also an Y chromosome like XXY, which is not common in humans, horses or other animals.

Namaste :)

Plants are either male or female depending on the two-chromosome combination of the X and Y chromosomes. A male carries an X and a Y chromosome (“XY”), while a female carries two X chromosomes (“XX”). When pollenization of a female plant occurs, the seeds and how the sex characteristics are determined is based on a simple combination of the two sets of chromosomes:

Mackay, 1939; Sengbusch, 1952; Panfil, 1984; Moliterni et al., 2004; Sakamoto et al., 2007 etc.)
accept the hypothesis of sex determinism in hemp by heterochromosomes, XX in female,

So a XXY female would look a bit like this right ;)

Now that people are using pictures to explain I think I'm finally understanding! LOL!

That seeds im seeing on that male ? looks like you maybe into lady boy plants as it seams many modern breeders are now a days lol.

No, this strain Danish Gold was bred in the normal way female x male.No feminized seeds was ever used for this strain.;)

Lineage

Danish Gold = Danish Passion x Guerilla Gold (Kona Gold x Himalayan X Afghani x Mighty Mite)

Parvati just for you :D
