Feeding my mango haze

I'm into week 4 of flower of my my first try with MH.
Growing in soil under 600 w HID.
I'm using chem fertilizer (AN 2 part bloom) and I think it's time to feed them. I know your suppose to go lite on the nutes, but what does that mean relative to PPM or EC. Also, how long do you feed N.
Thanks in advance

Hey kevinn, I would be careful about any dose per say of chem fertilizer for this strain. Mango Haze is a mostly sativa hybrid and she doesn't need anything besides a rich organic potting soil and maybe a sprinkle or two of slow release organic fert. At 4 weeks flowering I wouldn't give them much of anything other than water. Let the wonderful terpenes shine thru. You will not be dissapointed. More power to you whatever you decide. Mango Haze will load you like a freight train and fly you like an aeroplane. Hop Head:cool:

i'm using canna and using 2/3 the recommendation is working wonderfully.

after four runs i am still experimenting, but the product is really lovely. super bag appeal and truly stellar effect. everyone comments on the wonderful flavor...

this plant will stretch like no other so i tie it down to a net. need to tie it down almost every day for a while, or the stem gets too stiff to bend properly...

eventually the colas get so dense and heavy they must be supported.

shanti says dont go over 1.6 ec bring it up to that gradually and then bring it back down gradually not exceeding 1.6 ec. I myself never went above 1100 ppm starting at about 700 ppm and increased 50 to 100 ppm each week

well i just gave them a full 1.6 ec - 860 ppm, so we will see what happens... i'm thinking i might throw another gallon of water in the res if i don't like what i see tonight...

we are on day 9 of bloom, growing like crazy now but the green is just not as dark as i want. seems like i allowed the ph to drift to about 5.6 or so for a few weeks because of calibration. now i'm calibrating 2-3 times a week. wish i could afford a good ph meter! had some Ca uptake issues because of that...

the strenght of the nutrients solution depends of the phenotype, on my mango haze, i have two big yielder, short flowering, indica hybrids dominant phenotypes who like high ec, i feed them with an ec of 2.2 and they look very happy (they are mother plants in 24 hours) on the other side the best phenotypes in term of sativa high, taste and aroma prefer lower ec.
making two batch and feeding them with different ec could help to keep the things dialed in :) i must admit im often too lazy to do this :D
sincerely
