I'm in love with your type A plant, such gorgeous colors! I'd purposely skimp the N to get those colors anytime. Please post bud shots once cured!
Nice to hear about Oregonism XL, I'm planning on getting some as its was the cheapest ben bacteria I can find, but the results speak for themselves, I've never seen such small bushy plants in my life!

gertb - Cured shots are planned. I didn't skimp on the N intentionally. The colors are fun. So is the trich coverage! I've never had a plant that covered before. But yes, as you say, except for the nanners... AND I'd like to point out once again that these plants look NOTHING like there is any Haze in there.

Here we go, 54 days.
Let's continue to examine the C plant.
Least desirable on every level.
Note the profusion of leaves...might be alright if they were covered in trichs but not so much in this case.

El Niño 01-23-10 60 days 12/12
Done with the C plant on 01-23-10. 60days of 12/12, 20-25% amber. None that I could see were clear. I've only ever seen one plant this leafy before, it was one of my bag seed plants on my second grow. IF, the leaves were all totally covered with trichs that'd be different. They are not. This plant was the smallest/slowest of the 3. This plant threw 'naners. We all know that Fem seed is prone to that but I will aknowledge that there WAS a light leak where my weatherstripping was wearing out. I've since replaced it and the light leak is gone. All told I've only seen 2 seeds in the whole harvest. I know that there are more hiding in there but the point is that the resultant seeding was so minimal as to be hardly worth mentioning...if you aren't a grower examining genetics. This plant seemed the least tempramental and was the last to yellow even though she is the first to ripen. Yield seems to be respectable but she is still too wet to jar. It's been 7 days since the chop as I write this. The box pictured last is a good method for severely slowing the drying process. On we go.

B Plant Final 67 days.
The B Plant. Largest plant through out the grow, slowest to ripen. First to yellow. Trich coverage is not much better than the C plant and nothing compared to A. I have kept one clone from this B plant JIC the high is remarkable... I'm not expecting it from early samples.

The second group of 5.
These seem to have a bit wider leaves than the first four did.
The plant on the left end is propped because it fell and came out of the pot damaging many roots. One of these 5 has shown alt nodes already.
And here we have the whole lot in the flower chamber, albeit still on an 18/6 vegetative light cycle. 9 La Niña seedlings and 1 El Niño "A plant" clone.
These pots are just shy of 1 gallon.
The plan is to finish them in these pots to see what I get then focus on training after selection. Still holding my breath on sex though. Of 10 plants, only 2 are confirmed female.

so in all honesty (and i know this is a MNS forum) would you purchase future Greenhouse seeds (tho they were very indica dominant and nothing like LaNina)...would you after this process say that all in all the grow was worth the time and you would purchase GHS stock again...reason I ask is i recieved a pack of WRfem freebies with my last order from Dr. Atomic and was thinking of doing a side-by-side iwth the medman...most ppl i've spoken with on multiple forums tell me that the GHS WR is not worth my time, especially in the Fem version which they felt was even worse than their regular stock

I guess you can try and grow it and it would be a good one to follow... I mean they are free and Im sure some one will want to see the side by side so we can see the difference.... I mean I got a free clone of the GHS (fake) CHEESE and im growing to see for myself... hey it was free right!! hahaha here is a pic.... its 2 weeks into veg using hempy and GH 3 part series....

Hey Trill, Thanks for the comment! Early samples indicate that I might just be happy with that A plant all together.
I do plan to give at least an extra week on this next run.
I'll be crazy crammed for space in my veg chamber but I'm betting I'll have to let some of these La Niña go 11wks or so.
But to answer directly, no, I didn't think it was early but I'm willing to grant that you may be right.

In all honesty NO, I would purchase GHS again. BUT, I won't buy them because I don't want to support them, I don't like what they do. Their business practices are bad for the community. Misrepresenting genetics should be a reason to boycott. I know that they are not alone so it could get extreme to try and put that into practice but they are egregious. Feminized seed is not in my future from anyone. It might be more expensive to get standard when you might need 2 packs to get the same # of females but I want to support breeders that are working to better the genetics than ppl selfing clones. All these new "clone only" strains they've been introducing pretty much piss me off. Hey, you said "all honesty".
I held those views when I made the purchase of this Fem 5 pack because of the comparison challenge that was issued on another site. I'm not going to trash this A plant just because it's GHS. I also have grown Cheese, the first pack of seeds I ever purchased. It wasn't like the Cheese bud they sold me in the shop where I bought the seeds, but it was still pretty decent and everyone loved the smell/taste. Just sort lacking in potency.
All that said, I wouldn't call this grow a waste of time. Don't forget the Herm factor but only one of them did and my Cheese plant never did. If I could know that I'd find 1 keeper in a 5pk of Fem seeds that'd be great. But I think I got lucky.
If you have free seeds I would grow them...assuming you've got the space.
Along side the MedMan would be great, I'd personally be happy if you did that.
