Got some updates. SSH 2 is finished at 57 days, and I'll take her down 2moro. She stopped growing (swelling) about a week ago, and today I found a few bananas, so I'm gonna take her. I did hit the most sativa dom SuperSpice with a few bananas, so I may have some fem seeds coming... SSH 3 is looking lovely, just crowning around. She has a nice coating of resin going, and the lower buds are getting a cool crinkle leaf going on.

Orange D. x Miss Mud (Orange Mudd from here out...) ~6wks
odmm6wks2.JPG

Thanks Elmo. They look like they should each go over 2 oz in under 10 wks, so I am likin' em too ;) Most miss mud dom on left, orange d. leaner on the right. I have more pix/info in the link (ic) I posted in the 'soil base' thread (MrN). I forgot to mention that SSH 3 is 42 days of 12/12 in that pic. I lollipopped her after reading the 'sog plant wanted' thread (MrN). She would work, but sog plants are kinda worthless 1 at a time....... . Those plants are in my coco mix, and are CRUSHING peat. I still have some peat in there, but as an amendment (water retention, roots still penetrate, etc..) not a base. I don't have a side by side, but the plants just before it were in peat-based, and there is no comparison in size/over all growth. The 1 miss mud father was a slow lil shit too, I only used him in case 'Big Daddy' was sterile. So either the coco is helping, or I got to be a better grower REAL FAST lol.

I just got done reviewing your thread again. Hells bells. lot going on with you. I hope all is OK with both you and your plants.

Your plants really look great too. I wish I had the room you did!

Hi SF, thanks for stoppin in! Other than pissing out of my ass for a week, I'm ok. Yum! Anyways.......

I was out today to put some slug killa on my main spots. I HATE using chemicals to grow with. Ferts are bad, pesticides are worse. I fukked up, and wasn't 'prepping' the plants and spots for a few wks prior to going out, so I have to resort to some sort of nasty pellets. I need to harvest come october, though.. Next season, there will be no chems of any kind ('cept b-1 red, I love that stuff!).

The clones got the worst of it, probably 20% survival rate, but the big plants are BEASTIN, as the kids say. Pending anything catastrophic, I have a couple of plants that should be pounders, and probably 5-8 more that could be close. I don't expect to pull ALL of it, but the more I put out, the more I pull in. Next year will be more big plants, and a few well protected clone patches. Fence, raised bed, 'built' soil, etc... I put the work in for my mentor last summer, and he is CRUSHING with that box so far (I told him I want a zip a harvest for building that mofo.

50 yds into prickers.....
1 compressed peat bale
1 40lb bag outdoor garden soil
1 20 lb bag of composted manure
1 20 lb bag of dehydrated manure
2 bags each perlite/vermic (drop in the bucket)
2 cut sheets of plywood
Dug area ~ 4' x 12' x ~ 8"deep. Dug another 6" trench around edges. Put in plywood, screwed eyehooks in the corners and ziptied them together. MIX THAT SHIT. Tilled in 1/2 can of plant success. BLAMO!! I haven't seen many of his spots, but he tels me that spot is killing the others. I know what it did last summer.

Anyway, I didn't get that crazy this summer, here are some pix.

I had a semi crisis today. I'm down below, drooling on the ladies, and I notice some shit on the backside of my 1 supershit. MITE EGGS. Ugh. I made up a little neem mix @ 1tsp/liter, and went to work. Took about 45 minutes, but I had sprayed all of the plants, and molested everything that comes down 2wks+. I left the lights off to avoid burn, and threw a few cfls in there. I gave them about an hour, went down to flip the lights and 2 plants are BLOWN UP, the cannaloupe and the supershit. The ssh3 had a few on her too. I took those 3 out, and I'll drop them in the woods tonite.

Well, time to get busy. I made up a gallon of neem mix w a big glug of neem, nice and greasy. Took EVERYBODY out for a fingerfukkin. I went through about 2quarts on those girls. Skeet, skeet, skeet. Nice heavy clean with pinesol, and windexed the bulbs/hoods. I'm going to check out some beneficial insects, cause I should be shutting down in a few months, then I can BOMB the place.

If I was just keeping the place clean in the first place, and DIDN'T bring plants in off the deck, I would be ok. I haven't seen a pest in my room in almost a year. As it is, they will get AT LEAST 2 more wipin's with the goo.

I didn't see ANY bugs or eggs on the spice or spice crosses, and they are the majority of the room. I hope that they are semi-resistant so that I get a chance to whack the lil fukks. I also didn't see ANY munch spots from the tops of the leaves, so I caught it nice n early. On the upside, I was able to re-arrainge, and lose 3 plants, so everybody gets more light, and I threw a superspice (1 in the woods, don't have that cut in yet) and I think a shit lol. I have a bunch of cuts that I didn't label, and I will be sliding them in the next few wks.

I love a surprise!

I have unknown cuts that could be.....
ssh1
superspice
dreamtime (that mangokush)
shit (2pheno's)
spice

I also have labeled cuts/moms of
Orange D
SSH1
superspice
shit (both)
spice (both)

I am currently sexing 3 ssh f1's and 1 OG kush x g13/h. That is the next cross. If the ogk/g13h is male, I will hit my existing ssh's and any new females. I will also hit the spices and shits. I MAY even keep him. My favorite sativa so far was a slightly different looking pheno of this cross. I lost it in a tear down, and only ended up with 1 plant. I am a sloppy ass, and lost 3 of 4 seedlings to a spring storm, they blew over, and I didn't check them. In my back yard. LAZY.

Here are some pix. She went 12-13wks, and I called her lemmonmutthafukka.

Nice looking plants & bud man,

Always nice to see them grown in mother earth.

Hope you get the mites eradicated . Are any of the infested plants in flower? If not consider using tobbaco/garlic/hot-pepper tea to repel pests outdoors, it has worked for me in the past though I dont know if it actually kills them , eitherway I wouldn't spray it indoors . Make sure you don't overdo it with the Neem , follow the bottles instruction, I gave mine 3x the recommended dose (by mistake ) and had few slightly burned leaves.

Keep it up and hope they turn great for you.

Thanks l33t. No such luck, however. The bugs are in the flower room, so chems/nicotine are out. I removed the 3 that they seemed attracted to, and soak n wiped the rest. 2 of them have 1 week, and the supershit has 4 or so, I may force her in my yard.

Thanks for the compliments, PERI. I am gonna do what I did the last time that I had them, STRONG neem action. I hit them 2x's today, and will hit them 2-3 more times in the next week. I did catch them early, which I can't say for the last time. My pics of those buds look like SHIT. Not MrN shit either. If the neem dosen't get them, I am gonna use smc and get a load of ladybugs. I will be using the flower room to hang the harvest, so come november or so, I'll bomb the place.

I had the lights off and a 42 w cfl lighting the room, and those Orange Muds are GORGEOUS. I will get some pics soon. I have a semi diary going on @ icmag, since the cross is from 2 ic'ers. It is in the coco section. I will be chopping the quickest 1 in 7-10 days, then ~1more wk, and I would like to let the Orange D dom plant go ~10 wks.

I am gonna try to cut the rootball on my ssh to speed up the re-veg. I'll get pix.

Bubble Trouble

Just made some bubble from ssh1 + 2 and cannaloupe trim. I haven't had any in a few weeks, so no need to smoke the first run just yet, lol. I had 2 hits of finger (from working the bubble), and I'm lit. :D

I have 3 SuperSpice clones that are looking all nice and healthy waiting for an experiment. I am going to run all 3 in a week or so in different setups. All in 1 gallon round pots. Each plant will bring it's 6oz of soil with it. 1 in a hempy bucket, 3 parts perlite to 1 part vermic. 1 in Str8 coco. 1 in my coco mix.

The hempy/coco plants will eat Age-old bloom, and PBP bloom. All plants will get molasses and either LK or B-1 red. The mix plant will be according to my wing it topdress schedule. I am trying to round up a tds/ec/ppm meter to borrow so that I can log the tapwater, and a few different nute combo's. I have't kept records beyond flip date in a while, so I will do the best I can.

Hopefully, I can follow the superspices with another couple of 'even' clones to see the differences in different strains. As it is, I may be able to follow the superspices with EITHER Orange D, or Spice.

Everybody has to come out 2moro for a neem job, I'll get some pix.

Got the brownies baking.....

Some Spice @ 6wks

Orange Mud A, 7 weeks comes down 1 wk

Orange Mud B lower 'top', comes down in 10-14 days. ROCK HARD buds
ODMMb7wks.JPG

Those Brownies suck. They will do the trick though...

I am starting a coco vs. hempy bucket vs cocomix tomorrow. I have 3 superspice clones from the plant that I put outside that are very even in size/development. They are currently in a vermiculite heavy soil mix in 6 oz cups. I will transplant as little of the existing dirt as I can with out hurting the root base. I will be starting with 1/2 strength age-old and PBP for the hempy/coco plants. The cocomix plant will get the topdress regime that I've been using.

I will be starting a thread in the 'grower's forums' @ ic mag, but I will post pics/updates/results here too.

All those look sooooooooooooo good to me.!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really jealous. I can't have anything outdoors, 'cept spinach(finished) and banana peppers, just beginning. It's kind of a cover for me showing up with gardening stuff now and then.

Keep it up. I love seeing this kind of stuff. Maybe one day I can do an outdoor grow in a greenhouse.

I have a pepper plant in straight coco, getting fed whatever, that should be in the friggen county fair!! Ii has like 3 or 4 nice big peppers crammed in, and I super cropped it pretty good the other day.. I will get pix of my deck (I'm so proud, lol) and some outdoor Aroura b's 2moro. Gotta get the oldest dog out, he might not have many more summers left :(

Oh, well I have 3 others right behind him. Sea of Dog. SoD for the Peta crowd. Those brownies took over 2 hours to hit. I HATE waiting for food to kick in. I don't know how or why, but I have made edibles before that hit in 45 min or so. This batch, ummm no.

Cannaloupe ~20%
SSH3 ~15%
SSH2~15%
Remainder is mix of:SSH's, cannaloupe, Orange D, Hempplant (thseeds), 'sweet' shit.

Everybody likes pix, and Tor is FLYIN tonight.

Hi barletta

Nice collection of plants you have there!

Cant wait to hear how they smoke when the time is right. I d love to hear some details about the Spice you have.

EDIT:

By the way the ''freak'' plant looks like these MH I had:

Shantis reply was:

''We have seen this even on a cloned growing plant nearing flowering, so it is either a virus, viroid or pathogen/bacteria related problem. Considering it will eventually affect plants in its vicinity I would be more inclined to directly kill it or separate them into isolation.Treat it as a virus and do not take clones from it as it will be difficult to rid the symptoms entirely.''
