As an aside, it's a curiosity how the term "boogie-man" evolved into something far more sinister, in meaning. Case in point:

She's amazing! The song says her skin is white but her soul is black. What would that make her, in today's "woke" lingo? Trans-racial? Or maybe trans-black?
