Better late than never G13AC and other mns strains grow.

2021 COE Winner
Hi guys,

Just a 'teaser' for my grow log to come.
I'm back in the indoor game after 3 years off (was only growing outdoor).
So here an overview of the grow.
All at about 4 weeks since thec12/12 flip under 1 600w growlux hps.
It was too cold when I switched so 'I think they are a bit late.
2 g13AC on the left...I was afraid they turned into incontrôlable haze type, so switch them early and lst torture them to stay in control...even if both plan are of the viny type they are mangeable and would have deserved a little bit more végétative grow...
They seem very insects sensitive...had a soil flys infestation at the begining and they were ALL on the 2 g13ac...none of the other one were affected...improved the airflow to déstabilise them, add some glue traps and nematodes and now it's over.
Others plants are:
1 mks 3 mkaze and 1 g13xHazeC.
I kept mkaze and g13xhazeC males to make F2 or X.
This week end I will add mylar to the walls and an second 250w lamp to use all the space.

Hope I will make an interesting GL and my apologies to @shantibaba and @musashi for letting them so long w o news of the g13ac as it was the deal...

High guys!

Some news of the grow.
We are about 5 1/2 w since the flip.

Let me introduce miss G13AC #1:
20240225_103326.jpg

Very special plant.
I abused trainning/topping/defoliating her...things are far to be optimal but still allow this plant to show her qualities.
This stuff drips resin from everywhere...and since the beginning...even in veg you see tric covered branches.
Smell was very hazy/metalic at the beginning but evoluate to something more creamy /orange now.

20240225_103503.jpg

She also blooms quite fast for a 50% haze hybrid.

The second g13AC looks more classical haze hybrid.
Took better my lst abuse even if it's not the best way to grow that kind of animal.
20240225_103658.jpg
Slowliest blooming plant of the bunch...pleasant citrucy smell.
20240225_103751.jpg

Hard to say now but can yield well if she fill up well at the end.

Miss G13XHAZE.
Just toped her once and totaly defoliated her at 3 1/2 week of flowering.
She took it very well.
Not very smelly at the begining but now she takes a very sharp lime/citrus sour smell.
Very promissing.

20240225_104110.jpg

And last girl for today MKaze.
Never disapointing as espected...Will yield nicely.

Quick update this morning.

Plants have reach or past their flowering peak.

G13AC is entering the finish line.
Bracts are inflating very fast...they are huge.
A lot of resin...smell like fruity salad-bubblegum...very sweet.

G13AC 2 is revealing her beauty.
Will yield nicely.
Pic doesn't do justice to her.
She started blooming slowly but Is speeding now.
Smell is beautyfull...mix of coffee and hazy incence...mouth watering.

G13ac 1 will have 1 or 2 more feeding before the flush.
#2 is one or two week behind.

G13AC #1 is a resin machine.
Will reveg her for sure.
She has been polinated with the G13haze mâle polen...May be the beginning of a long love story.

Hi Tom,
I saved a g13 haze ibl male and female from some 2010 seed I finally germinated.
That male may be a real keeper.
I plan on using mine against a number of female cuts this season once the hoops are underway.
Skunk x g13hz
Mazar SkunkOg x g13hz
OG x g13hz
g13sk x g13hz
g13ww x g13hz
to name a few.

Sure good things may come out these cross.
The G13Hz should bring an extra kick to those indicas.
Don't forget Soma made almost all his breeder carreer using a g13hz mâle he had from neville's...probably from the same line shanti made this ibl with.
And it's an ibl so probably breed true and pass some of its quality to its progeny.
Prime candidate to make good F1 with other well stabilised ibl.
G13skunk x g13Hz looks very very very promissing imho.

Missed my train to Paris this morning....so I have the time for a few pics.
Here the mks.
Heavily topped/ lstied.
Will yield well even if I don't think it's the way to go with this breed.
I can already say it's a MK pheno...the smell is unique and it's a slow bloomer for an indica...

20240313_102808.jpg

Buds are a bit leafy but keep in mind that mk is a hash plant...the cross with skunk is supposed to improve calix/leaf ratio but no skunk influene on this one.
Very strong branching...almost auto supportives plants.
This smell 🤤🤤🤤

Hi
Hi, thanks. Guess being a kid in the candy store my eyes are as big as saucers.
I'll be watching all your adventures but if you have a link handy to some more details on the shrooms
I would love to start to understand that process. I think it's such a promising avenue for growth.
respect

Hi,
Psilocybe cubensis are very easy to grow.
I advice you to try the PF tek method for your first time. Easy and reliable. You can find the method on internet.
You just need a pressure cooker, and some cheap stuffs availables at wallmart.
Don't lose time chosing a cubensis ''strain'' they are all the same...all the claims about their differences is commercial BS trying to copy/paste the seed industry marketing

Thanks Tom, I will do some research and see where it goes, I appreciate the advice, it should give me clear direction and something real i can start that journey.
We have a One Pot, which would be the pressure cooker.
many thanks and i'll get back to you soon.
